Am I out of luck? - Verizon Droid Incredible 2

I had my phone repaired under warranty since it cannot connect to WIFI. It come back to me yesterday. WIFI is working now, but the sim lock is locked. It was unlocked before this repairing. I found the IMEI number changed and my old unlock code is not working anymore. Called the service center and they admit they replaced the motherboard, but they refuse to give me an unlock code. Ebay people can't find the code too. Is there anything I can try?

[Q] how to reverse sim permanently lock LG optimus LTE p930

I have purchased an LG Optimus LTE P930 phone from someone on Kijiji and the phone is locked to bell but when I go to throw a different sim card in to unlock it I get "this phone is permanently locked and can not be unlocked". is there anyways to fix this issue?
Yeah, you need to find someone who can get your NCK unlock code. I got mine from a guy on eBay for like $3. Then dial 2945#*930# and enter the unlock code you are given. Easy peasy.
You might try these guys.
it does not give me an option at type in a NCK code as soon as it turns on with wrong sim it just pop's up with that same error
I don't understand, can you not dismiss the error and continue using the phone and then type in that number I gave you? If all else fails, maybe you can remove your SIM card and dial the number that way? As I recall, I had 0 issues unlocking my phone and I didn't even have a SIM card in it when I did it if I remember correctly...
A "freeze" usually happens after too many NCK attempt, usually 10.
what you would be looking for is an "unfreeze" code.
But if your Bell SIM still works it sounds like it is a service provider lock -SPCK- which is similar to network locked.
There may be a dialer code to reset attempt count, may also be able to binary edit it.
I reocmmend trying a site like this http://www.unlockallcellular.com/lg-nitro-hd-unlock-code-p-198068.html
there may be afew other, even on ebay. I would get with one that provides a guarantee. Usually invloves taking a video of you entering code to prove if it works or not. If not they will refund your money.
be patient as it could take a day or two.
I once paid $70 to unlock my dell streak 7.
Cheers.
did you manage to fix this? I'm having the same issue
Any solution i got this same issue on my G2 D802
My at&t pantech p6020 phone is saying that sim is locked and when I try to unlock it it says the incorrect unlock code was entered ten times this phone is permanently locked and can not be unlocked. What should I do? help me please

Unlocking help

I have an S2 i9100p which was originally locked to orange under contract, before the contract in late 2013 expired I had it unlocked and everything worked fine until one day it stopped, completely blank, not even switching on... I sent it back to a registered Samsung Repairer and when i got it back everything was different due to the repairs they made, the android version was different to the version i had originally and the phone was no longer unlocked... I have since tied many methods, bought a code online, still locked... on 3 seperate occasions i took it to a local unlocking shop and each time they couldnt do it and couldnt explain why... I have also rooted it with frama root as its the only rooting software that has seemed to work since the repair and then tried the samsung unlock app from this site in the playstore, some apps dont even recognise the phone as a samsung settings for about device > status under phone number say its unknown but recognises the device name and model, imei, etc.. but still no avail to unlocking.... can anyone shed any alternate solutions on how i can unlock this? I dont wanna take it back to the samsung place cos they are so far away and want to charge £50 to try, not to unlock it, to try.... please someone gimme a solution as orange dont provide a good enough service for the area i live and my general usage needs require more than they offer on a payg orange sim (the only sims that work)... ive periodically tried different cards in the hope that it unlocked magically but always get the same screen sim network unlock pin which i dont have , help before my phone becomes a high speed projectile

Confused why my LG G4 can't unlock..? It's a new unactivated warranty replacement

I've tried a few services online and none of them can unlock (sim/network) my LG G4 H812 (Canada). Abit long story, but I bought this new from WIND a few months ago, but switched to another carrier (Mobilicity) recently and unlocked it fine. But soon, the G4 had issues so I received a warranty replacement with a different IMEI. During this warranty process, the service center asked who the original provider was, so I said "WIND". I assume that meant that the replacement was locked to WIND again.
OK, np I thought, I would just get the replacement and unlock it again. But for some reason no one is able to unlock it. Is it because this new phone has never been activated with any carrier..? How am i supposed to do it? I no longer have the WIND sim either.
Thanks,

I'm having this exact same issue. My LG G4 was bought brand new from Wind about a year ago, but was sent in for repair through Wind's warranty service. I had the bootlooping issue, so my phone received a new motherboard, and subsequently a new IMEI. For resale purposes, I tried to SIM unlock the phone through multiple third-party services with no luck. I then tried asking Wind for the code directly, which they didn't have (I assume this is because it is a brand new IMEI), so Wind told me they'd request a code directly from LG. I received the unlock code a few days later, but even that code doesn't work. I'm honestly stumped, and my phone's now down to only 2 SIM unlock attempts remaining. Did you ever end up having any success with your phone? Were you eventually able to get it unlocked?

What issue did you have with it to need it repaired in the first place? Since the unlock code that I received from LG directly didn't work for me, I'm a little hesitant about using one of my last two unlock attempts on cellunlocker.net, a third-party service. BUT, seeing as they worked out for you, I'm somewhat hopeful.

A3 SIM Unlock

Hi
I got my A3 yesterday. I managed to root it (it's a must for me) otherwise I didnt do anything else, its working fine. My problem is that it was a gift, my friend bought it at his carrier (telenor, hungary) and im at a different carrier. When I put in the SIM, it asks for some network code. Google says that there are websites that gives me the code in exchange for some money and my IMEI number. No thanx.
Is there any free solution I can do?
You can only get the unlocked code from the original carrier
Sent from my SM-A520F using Tapatalk
I'm starting to realize that. Theres just no way I'm paying any money for it. My company have contract with both carrier, I can change it free, but it's a hassle. Thats what I wanted to avoid. Guess theres no other way.
If it is a Carrier Lock then you have to contact the carrier. If it is a regional lock you have to contact Samsung directly.
There are boxes that can sim unlock. See what your local backstreet phone store can do.

How to unlock bootloader when phone is blocked by Operator

Hi
I bought the phone almost 2 years ago. Unfortunately the seller bought the phone in installment plan. Now he stopped paying installments and Operator blocked IMEI.
This results that I can not use mobile services while WiFi is working and I can use device normally. In practice I can use it at home.
Is there any way to unlock bootloader without sim card inserted in the phone. I can go to Mi Unlock Status --> but I can not Add your Account (If you have not already) and device since sim card is not working.
Can you suggest any solutions?

Unlocking the bootloader won't change anything.
Prove to the operator that you bought this phone and maybe he will unblock the situation.
If the seller left the phone on their Xiaomi account, you will also need to contact them to remove it.
You can also file a complaint.
Thanks NOSS8 for quick answer. Operator is deaf when I send invoice.
I have two solutions - sell the phone outside my country or find solution (i.e. imei change) . In order to do that I need bootloader unlocked. Can you tell me how to unlock bootloader?

You cannot unlock bootloader without sim and Xiaomi account.
Changing the IMEI yourself is prohibited.
I don't doubt your honesty but what you ask, someone who found or stole the phone will ask the same.
Try to see with a repair center.
