but the keyboard woking with QWERTY and i would like to use AZERTY
Have on a tips.

To get started I have the K400r Logitech keyboard Connected only boots in about 15~20 seconds.
Interface as seen is a Zidoo custom very usable and can customise apps as required.
Remote can be programmed for up 3 quick launch/shortcut your favorite app using the coloured buttons to launch.
I have had the Box running for 8 hours a day just streaming music around the house, nothing to hard as yet box does get warm.
watched a few movies, using Plex, Kodi for few hours again box warm, no failures, Netflix etc.
Tested the following DTS Files on the main TV/AMP all played 5.1 lit up the Sony Display except .eac3 file no 7.1 here

In Order: Ethernet, 5Ghz then 2.4Ghz, 2.4 a little poor

First Impressions of the Zidoo X6 Pro looks good box appears snappy and working well with minimal fuss.
A few quirks have been noted over at the Zidoo Forum and no doubt will get dealt with by team Zidoo
Gaming might be a little down but overall I don't think you would be disappointed to much.
The Zidoo X6 Pro Does get a little warm and I guess some fine tuning from the team at Zidoo will look into this.
If it gives you problems turn the box upside down for a quick fix or a Laptop cooler.

How well is netflix performing? Is the box able to initiate a 4K stream within Netflix?
As with most media Players from that part of the world there is no Google Widevine support at the present 480 is the best, may change but I am unsure.

On my home dual band WiFi network (Fritz!Box 7490), yes!
But is not easily noticeable which band is connected to. Neither if it changes from one band to the other for any reason...

Hi there,
Ik have a radio in my car that is fully android 4.4.4 from an unknown chinese brand named joyous. All is working fine, except there is one thing that is bothering me, and that is the radio app is not remembering my presetted radio stations after it has been fully shut down. Im 100 percent sure it has continious power (it has been measured). Every other setting there is, it remembers, it continues playing my mp3 files where i left of, it remembers which source i used last time etc. Only the radio presets will not be remembered. Is this a known issue and are there other apps (apk) that i can install to try if these will remember there settings?

I'm new on XDA forum, I explain you my problem.
My home theater receiver works fine (5.1 sounds) when :
- I look TV channels
- I use the TCL multimedia centrer (dlna), but this player crashes frequently it's unusefull
But when using android apps, I get a 2.0 sound on my receiver.
Has somebody tried Android apps like Plex, Kodi, Youtube, DS Station, .... and could hear 5.1 sounds on a his home theater receiver ?
Different ROM versions tested :
- RT51_Android P_V252 Software => NOT OK
- RT51_Android P_V270 Software => ?
- RT51_Android P_V288 Software => NOT OK

I have got an 65ep660 , and exactly the same problem,
Only the tcl mediacenter app and netflix are ok about 5.1 passthrough output spdif.
I tried all the firmwares, all kodi 's versions, no one solution...
Shame on you Tcl, it s the same problem with all ep680, ep640 series
The only Way is a Xiaomi mi box on hdmi input......

Also have this problem. 288. IPTV crashes the player. After some investigation it looks like TCL doesn’t use Exoplayer but one of their own.
Tried every possible IPTV app, all of them makes it crash the tv or when it works only have sounds or image stutters

I've been trying to solve the same problem. So annoying...
The best progress I did was installing Nova Player. It has a mode for passthrough that correctly send DD and DTS to my receiver if I set the TV (50ep640) to PCM on the audio output setting. Mode 1 is the one that works.
I don't know if Kodi or Mx player could support the same.
On Nova Video Player, two audio passthrough modes are supported:
Mode 1 (almost deprecated) targets TV boxes with early versions of Android (up to Kitkat 4.4). Note that on some devices you need to set the sound volume to maximum (so that the streams are not altered by the sound mixer). This mode does a software SPDIF encapsulation with ffmpeg .
Mode 2 targets latest versions of Android above 5.1 (Nvidia Shield TV and Android TVs) using official Android framework support.

Mode 1 (almost deprecated) targets TV boxes with early versions of Android (up to Kitkat 4.4). Note that on some devices you need to set the sound volume to maximum (so that the streams are not altered by the sound mixer). This mode does a software SPDIF encapsulation with ffmpeg .
Mode 2 targets latest versions of Android above 5.1 (Nvidia Shield TV and Android TVs) using official Android framework support.

Thank's. I've tried Nova Player with its 2 modes but it doesn't work at home.
Mode 1 => Video OK, sound looks like a machine gun
Mode 2 => Video freezes, no sound
I've tried these 2 options with the audio TV setting on PCM, auto, Passthrough.
Hi I have very serious problem with this TV after software update. Image looks like - I M G U R .com/a/rNVR9MJ (it's - IMGUR - stupid new user restrictions...) there are a lot of "noises" especially on second plan black background - it looks like watching the old DIVX video files. When I bought the TV image was good, BUT the youtube app and UHD movies were VERY slow and laggy. I tried to revert the soft to previous one ( I don't remember the soft witch was shipped with the TV, so I just used previous from the highest one) - but that didn't work. Some ppl advice me to try "light" version (again cause of this stupid new users restrictions - paste the link to the google drive com domain --- /file/d/1gPnBaJcd0G7pgiDPwuOdN9auA4GO5voQ/view) but I have read that I need ROOT my TV first.
How to root the TV? I need male to male USB cable and what soft?
