Google Play Music Books n Videos - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Im not sure on what works out not just try them out

if you have a custom ROM, it's all included in the gapps package (not movies, dunno what that is). Problem is, you can't use Music anyway (to buy songs) unless you fake your IP AND provide a US credit card.
You can activate your G Music simply by faking an US IP and then upload your songs (look for how to's online, there's plenty).

How do I get Google music to play on alternative player?

Hey guys. this is a pretty self explanatory question. I love Google music. I think the cloud service is stellar and I like the way it has ALL the music on my computer without ever having to put it on my phone. The only gripe I have is the music player. I like the player well enough but, im used to Playerpro and like the over all aesthetic value over Gmusic. The problem Im having is that there is no way to have my music that I say to "Make available offline" available on anything other than Gmusic. Is there a way to download songs and albums off Gmusic and use them on a separate player like PlayerPro? I know there is a way to move around files, but I already tried that and it was a no go.
Download it to play offline.
-or-
Try Cloud Music Sniper from the market.

Downloading it to play offline does not let me use the music in anything other than the stock Gmusic app.
Just put it on your phone and be done with it!
Try looking for the downloaded music in /sdcard/Android/data/com.Google.android.music/cache/music

[Q] how to see ONLY coud files in Google Music app

I'm playing around with uploading my music to Google Music. That being said, when I run Play Music on my gs3, I ONLY want to see the music stored on the Google Music cloud--I don't want to see anything on my phone's storage. I see an option for "all music / on device only" which is the opposite of what I want. I thought about a third party Google Music player but haven't found anything yet (suggestions for this are welcome, I did see an app to let third party players access the google music cloud files but haven't tried it yet). Thanks for any help on this.

[Q] is there a way to store transferred video files in Google play movie app?

Is there a way to store shows, movies, and videos I load in the Google Play movies & TV App? I would like my videos to display for selection just like downloaded store content. I know I can go to settings and personal videos, but they are being stored in my gallery by default.
Thanks,
Rick
Bump. Anyone have ideas, trying to get the videos I loaded onto my 7 to reside in the Google Play Movies and TV app.
Thanks,
Rick

A few years ago was possible but nowadays not. Use Drive, Dropbox, Box etc.

Thanks for the reply. So, is it better than to just download a separate video app. I don't download much content from Play, and may make the default app disabled and just add a third party app.
I'm coming from iOS and just not as familiar with how all content gets integrated in.
Rick
Anyone else have any feedback? Where do you store your video content you will consume later? I'm coming from iOS where all media was stored in the player regardless if it came from ITunes store or was manually loaded onto the device.
I store mine on the N7 in either the Videos or Movies folder where MX Player can find them, though it would find them wherever I put them.
I also keep some on my pc for viewing at home by streaming them to the N7 with ES File Explorer.
