Back up while upgarding Rom - Bada Software and Hacking General

i want to insll new rom on wave 1 but i have insll lots of games which nw nt available in samsung apps .so any way to take that back up while upgarding rom ?

If you are upgrading from bada 1.2 to bada 2.0 via kies,
kies will automatically back up everything for you.
During the upgrade process, kies will install 2 firmwares; first a special bada 1.2 firmware through which your data will be backed up. For Europe this firmware is the XXKGG.
After kies installs the special bada 1.2 firmware, and you have backed up your data, the 2nd process of upgrading to bada 2.0 begins.
After the upgrade to bada 2.0 completes, you will be prompted by kies to restore your backed up data.

2 things CSC and MODEM

i just did an upgrade thorugh KIES for XEF (french national, not locked)
I got pda: xwjpa
phone: i9000xxjpp
csc: i9000xefjp3
the last time I have used doc's v8 and I had a really bad phone emission pb. everybody whom i called on older phones (not 3G) had a lowsy reception.
that was fixed after the a.m. upgrade.
thus it would be good if any installs of new roms, the phone and csc could be preserved. Obviously something in either of those 2 is particular to the corresponding country/operator.
It would even be great if odin could make a backup from the former installation, thus in case of, it can be reinstalled, at least partially, or a mixe up of Code, phone and CSC.
I am now running xwjpa with the YA-OK kernel (latest version with the corruption fix) and ext4/ext2 advanced lagfix without binds and it works beautifully without any problems and battery lasts. i did not install SetCPU or anything else because it could also cause problems.
by the way.
for the french.
If you want to do KIES upgrade and installation, do the following:
install KIES the latest version, or update it.
remove all LAGFIXES
flash I9000XXJF3 using PIT 512 (this is for the french version only XEF).
the only thing I don't know is if you have to reflash it with or without RE-PARTITIONING.
I did just repartion with the PIT loaded and nothing else. waited for 10 minutes. Then removed the battery for another 15 minutes, and the restarted it in download mode.
Don't be scared you phone is not bricked even if it remains black for a while.
don't care if your SIM is not recognised properly, and you can't enter the code.
start KIES, connect your phone, and you will receive your update without any problems and everything work fine afterward.
The other thing now is the themes.
Before I was using V2 DENA, and i loved it. but it requires a lot of changes in the java files in the framework. I am a little scared that this f...... up my phone again. so i leave it alone for the moment.
Know i have a bench Quadrant of 21xx and the phone os fluent and smooth.
can u up ur modem & csc ? just to see whats in the csc and if the jpp modem is the same as the jpp one found on xda
if you can tell me how to get it of the phone, no pb
especially the phone.
for CSC i can send you my system/csc contents.
dd if=/dev/block/bml12 of=/sdcard/modemjppfr
csc, the directory

[Q] Wave575 not flashing to original FW

After an update to Samsung Apps, it disappeared from my phone, so I flashed it with original indian FW but Samsung Apps still didn't come. I tried even Nordic FW but nothing changed. In these two FWs BOOTFILES and FFS files were not there. Today I got European FW which had bootfiles and FFS too. So I flashed using this FW and got my Samsung Apps back. So I thought I should go back to original Indian FW and tried flashing it. Flashing goes successful but nothing actually changes. And Samsung Apps disappears again. Anyone know why this is happening?
Hi,
which firmware did you tried ?

[Q] N7105 still lagging after factory reset

Hi all,
I have Galaxy Note 2 LTE N7015T version on Telstra firmware.
I was previously on 4.1.1 rooted with CF-Auto Root
I wanted to upgrade to 4.1.2 and had a few issues in the process. I finally got phone to allow upgrade since it was showing as modified. I did an upgrade via Kies and had an issue where when it was at the stage uploading firmware to phone it got stuck at 4%
I was doing upgrade via the USB 3 port and heard this can cause issues. I pulled the plug and then Kies wanted to do an emergency firmware upgrade which by all accounts worked to 4.1.2 and still remained data intact
Now I noticed lately that phone was lagging so I did a full factory reset and start again. But still I am getting some lag issues. I did not re-root since going to 4.1.2 but one thing I noticed is that I used the app ES File Explorer it allows me to navigate to the Root folder which I thought required Root Access?
Anyway I noticed there is still a folder in there called root I guess from before?
Any recommendations to fix phone from lag? Should I reflash firmware from here using Odin? Does that reformat the root dir? Cheers

S4 Mini: cannot perform software update

A little while ago, I rooted my S4 Mini and installed Android 5 custom firmware. However, my online banking app didn't like root, so I reverted back to standard firmware and removed the root. The phone works fine.
However, when running the OTA update, the phone tells me it cannot update due to root, and I should try using Kies.
I've installed Kies on my PC; plugging the phone in Kies tells me there is an update. It appears to download the required file but the phone does not update. I have tried with SmartSwitch also, but the same happens.
Can anyone please advise me on the following:
What is the latest official update for the S4 Mini; is it Android 5?
How can I update the phone? I thought flashing with Odin, but googling for various permutations of 'S4 Mini Official ROM, S4 Mini Android 5' etc. tends to yield results for the S4 and not the Mini...
Any help here would be great!
There is no official Android 5 lollipop for our S4 Mini. Best place to look is http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ should have all available firmwares for your model of S4 Mini. Flash the corresponding model of your S4 Mini and country code to your device and do this a couple of times over to fully restore your stock OS. I find without using an xposed module like rootcloak which doesn't always work that's stock is usually the only option to run apps that don't like root. I have the same issue with an app called channel 4 on demand which will only run on stock OS.

Rollback samsung update without loosing data! How?

Hello
Is it possible to rollback a samsung update to android 10? I dont like 11
I would like to go back to version 10 without loosing all the data. (factory reset is out of question)
Currrently i'm running android 11, OneUI 3.1 with security patch dated 01.04.2021.
I don't think it's possible. Even with Odin, you can only install the same software version or a newer version.
today i go back to android 10 one ui 2.5 with odin
i was on android 11 3.1
i tried do it without wipe data but it didn t work
you must backup your data first
