If you're interested, I made a tiny app to do this a loooong time ago, but it still works on ICS. It's not a pretty app, by any means, but it's functional.
Just pick a folder, pick an image, and it'll set it as the wallpaper without prompting for a crop. Just make sure you're using a 1440 x 1280 image to get the best quality.

There is an app called "Wallpaper Wizardrii" with some better cropping options.

There is an app called "Just Pictures" that is great for wallpaper. It seems to do a nice job cropping the photos.

What is the best apps or website for acer a100 wallpaper?

I've been trying to find a good wallpaper instead of the ones provided with no luck. The thing is after the wallpaper being cropped, the resolution will degrade so much.
Is there any special apps or web for installing good wallpaper?
Thanks

Thanks for the info

Wallbase is pretty sweet, so is stumblr. If you use wallpaper wazardi to set wallpapers all is awesome, as you can portrait or scroll with it.

You can try "Auto resize/Dbd Wallpaper Set" from the market.
Any picture can be set as a full screen wallpaper (without crop or black bars).

I used Tablet Wallpapers a little bit, it's troublesome in the way that it pushes ads through notifications (or it did a couple weeks ago, I'm not going back to that).
Not an app, but the website www.interfacelift.com has wonderful photos that can be used in high res and cropped as you like.

Best place for wallpapers

480x800 portrait or 960x800 landscape.

I prefer wallbase to be honest, use it on my phone and desktop.

These are much better quality and have every resolution you need. I've tried Wallbase, but after saving and setting as my wall, the quality is not as good as I expect.

All seem to be landscapes though, as much as I like landscapes on my desktop, my android I like abstract and CGI stuff.

The drop down bar, scroll all the way down to Windows Phone (480x800)

Zedge is ok, but they don't do high quality portrait pictures. I prefer portrait to landscape and IFL does that.
I appreciate different opinions, but I thought the community would benefit from this site. No harm done.

Wallpaper image help

Is it possible to make this image fit the entire wallpaper screen? My only wallpaper option is to crop most of the photo. Leaving me with a low res closeup of the gang or the skull.

Just install pic speed wallpaper HD to download and set wallpapers or us Google+ problem solved buddy.
I use "Wallpaper Set and save" free in play store. I also use the wallbase app and have WSS pointed to the save location of wallbase. So its easy to find good wallpaper and then quickly set it so that it fits the screen properly.

Does WSS create duplicates of all your pictures you end up using as wallpaper? The last app I tried (Wallpaper wizardrii) did that and it was extremely annoying
.

Setting multi screen scrolling wallpapers

I have Apex launcher and want to set multi screen scrolling wallpapers but can't find anything that works well. Anyone have something they use?

Never mind. I was over thinking it. Just downloaded quikpic. Close thread.

Nice, I needed something like this,
How are you using quikpic to create a scrollable custom wallpaper? I chose "set as... " and can save a cropped image that's the right size, but that doesn't change the wallpaper. I still have to use the system to do that. Is this just something they forgot to include in the GS3? My GS2 allowed me to choose whether I wanted it scrollable or not.
BTW... ATT GS3 with rooted stock rom.
Thanks!
Touchwiz on GS3 doesn't support scrolling wallpaper. I am using Apex launcher which does support it. With the stock gallery I still can't set a wallpaper without cropping it but quikpic lets me set a full scrolling size wallpaper.

Wallpaper Wizardrii works quite well also.

Wallpapers stretched - looks terrible

For some reason the only wallpapers that don't look terrible are the stockers.
I have a folder full of wallpapers from my HTC One (also 1080p screen) that work perfectly but when I try to use any of them on the Nexus it only lets me use about 1/3 or less of the image so it ends up totally stretched out and grainy.
I use quickpic to set my wallpapers. Go to your wallpaper via the app, and choose set as quickpic wallpaper. I usually get my pictures from zedge
