It isn't compatiable with Captivate, it is for Galaxy S2 Only

But on the page itself it says it is, have you tried them?

I don't see how i is compatible with both. The S2 has 4 connecters where as the S1 has 3. I think this one is just for S2. There is on ebay however this one someone has on here I want to check out that is a 2430mah lithium polymer battery and should most likely be same profile as our 1500 mah ones. We could both be testers and find this out to let all our fellow cappy owners know the awesomeness XD. Ebay also has 1800mah batteries for us that are the same size. you can get 3 at once plus an external charger for like $15
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GOLD-2430...is before? Any reviews? Is this the Slim one?

As far as I was just informed supposedly the Epic S2 has the same connection as S1. It's worth looking into now

Seidio 3800 mAh battery with NFC

Pure awesome. They also have an upgrade program. If you already bought an extended battery without NFC for $20 they will send you a new one with nfc and you can keep the old one. Mine is on its way.

Thanks for the info. I really wish I had read this earlier. I just bought this battery today on amazon, and I am pretty sure it's the old version.

Small galaxy s3?

My uncle was over today so I could root and install cm10 in his vibrant... after using it a little I was actually enjoying the smaller screen size to the point where I feel I want to sell my s3 and buy something else with a small screen... any suggestions of a comparable model as the s3 but similar screen size as the vibrant?

IPhone 5 comes to mind
uuh.... Galaxy S3 Mini when it's released? Though it basically seems to be just an upgraded Vibrant, using it's 4" 400x800 screen, which seems like a waste for a quad-core Exynos. Then again, you'd have to hope that it actually comes out here in the US.
Other than that.... i can't think of anything that would really compare that well to the S3.

He said a smaller phone. Not a smaller, locked down, idiot proofed phone.
There's not really any hi end phones with small screens anymore in the android world. I'm sure if he used the s3 day in and day out he'd get used to the size. I went from a nexus s (4 inch) to the 4.8 s3 and it took a bit getting used to. The good thing is however due to the phone increased was dth and height it can pack more into a slimmer package, also a huge battery.

If you want something much smaller on the same tier as the S3, you might be searching for a while. I'd say the best phone smaller than the S3 is the Nexus 4.
Stock ICS on my S3

Yea..... that probably would be about it.... and you'd end up losing not only the ability to swap batteries and use MicroSDHC cards, but also no LTE.
there's always the Motorola Droid RAZR M's 4.3" screen. but i don't know anything else about the phone.
How about an S3 Mini? : http://www.mobilenapps.com/articles/5041/20121111/samsung-galaxy-s3-mini-now-available-uk.htm
EDIT: Someone already mentioned this, just noticed. Doh!
Aside from the iPhone 5, I don't think you'll find a phone that can come anywhere near the s3 in terms of performance that has a significantly different size factor.
Galaxy S3 AOKP 4.1.2 JB.
and now there's a new small Galaxy contender, the Galaxy Axion (wtf?)

Galaxy nexus i9250 standard 1750Mah battery dimensions are 65mm x 48mm with 5mm thickness.
We can find same sized batteries including dimenstions and 1750mah in Blaze 4G,sgh t769, Exhilarate sgh i577
some other info as well
Focus 2, sgh i667 devices battery dimenstion is also 65mm x 48mm with 5mm thickness but with 1500Mah
Hope this will help for some one.
update
Galaxy S2: 1650mah 3.7Vli-ion 6.11Wh
Galaxy nexus: 1750mah 3.7Vli-ion 6.48Wh

Anker 4400 Mah

Anyone know if the i9300 one works for the i747 as well? I am looking to get one? Best place = amazon?
Thanks
Some guy did reviews on the 3main extended batteries. I bought the Hyperion one based on his review, and i couldn't be happier...since the original is only 2100mah, there is no way they can make anything more than 4200mah. I got 7++ hours of screen time and 2 days of use with gps/wifi and NFC on.
Get what you want, but the guy i bought it from is based out of hudsonville mi from eBay...inventoryexpressonline is the eBay user name.

i9300 and i747 same thing? can be used for both?
Can't seem to find Anker on ebay..
It should work just fine. I have the Anker 2,200 mah version and it works in my i747. The 4,400 mah version listing on Amazon has the other models listed in it as well, not just the i9300.

can't get it shipped to Canada. Any places in Canada or ebay that sell?
I believe all S3 dimensions, International, US etc are exactly the same so yeah the battery will work.

[Q] galaxy w battery alternatives

I couldn't find galaxy W battery in my country. Is it possible to use another model battery for it? For example Galaxy S ?
I don't want to order from another country which the shipping cost would be more than the battery price!

The battery is EB484659VU original Samsung Li-Ion Battery (1500mA)
Models it fits are Samsung i8150 Galaxy W, i8350 Omnia W, S5690 Galaxy Xcover, S8600 Wave 3 & YP-GS1 Galaxy S
Finally could found its original one.
But it's price equals with price of a new feature phone!(about 15$)

The battery is way to expensive..
check the one in my signature, 7$ free shipping from China
can't tell whether it's significantly better than stock one (cause my stock one has degraded completely) but it feels nice

But a feature phone is hardly a comparable substitute for a Galaxy W.
For safety's sake i'd always recommend buying genuine Sammy batteries - even if they do have a shorter lifespan than we all rightly expect.

i have used battery same as urs, taht china battery made my phone cannot boot.
Posible another model is Wave 3 S8600 :good:
I just ordered a Gold Battery 2450 mAh. People say that in comparison to the original model the Gold one lasts twice as long. Can't tell if it's safe, stable and everything, but 16$ is an affordable price for me.
