Just bought the Kidigi Cradle from their online shop, $27AUD with worldwide free shipping.
I'm looking for a dock that will fit with my SGP Neo Hybrid case on. I tried the zenis dock clones on ebay and unfortunately the micro usb plug is too short with the case on.
The Kidigi dock looks like it also has a removable inside cradle to accommodate a case. They also have three different versions on their site i.e. 1) normal 2) has second battery slot 3) has HDMI output.
Here's hoping it'll fit.

I am surprised third party companies havent released pogo pin docks yet.
That wouldn't help me as the pogo pins are covered by the neo hybrid case
Please keep us updated, I would be very interested if I could dock with my case.
I got one of the HDMI ones, and it has a removable part that makes the gap big enough to (probably, not 100% sure) fit a case - the phone has plenty of room to wiggle around with the part removed.
The Seidio Innodock Jr. Desktop Cradle has a micro usb connector that can rock a little back and forth allowing for use with a case. I'm not sure it's compatible with the massive 3800 or 4000mAh back covers out there, but considering Seidio sells a 3800mAh, there's good chances it will.
You can see it clearly on youtube video # dVpS03vaHu0
There's a guy reviewing it with a Nexus one and it fits with a case, see youtube video # CBt9IHzWNNM
It's not exactly cheap but it seems like a viable option.
Sorry I can't paste links but hopefully that helps.
I have the KDigi dock with a SGP Ultra Hybrid, and it fits just fine.
Unfortunately it doesn't fit with the Neo Hybrid case!

going to look for a leather holster for my phone, I think. don't like cases much, like holding only the phone in my hand when i'm using it. anyone have a good one?
one option with removable plastic clip (downside is losing the clip); not sure I like the light tan inside:

a bunch of other leather cases on sale here, probably the best prices you'll find; can't be sure of the quality though.
A couple nice ones, I like the vertical one (nice and small) but I need a belt clip for work, wish you could combine the two. both are a little pricey.

I posted this over in a another thread but I bought a Eddie Bauer holster from Best Buy and it fits great. However you cant use a case, hard or gel on it. Reading what you posted you dont use one anyway. Good Luck
Holster
I'm still on the hunt for a leather holster too. My problem is I'm using a Seido Innocase like the one below for everyday wear on a seido belt clip holster, but need a leather holster for tougher environments so I'm hoping to find a case that will accommodate the increased dimensions of the seido case:
I like the Cellet Bergamo mentioned above but not sure if it'll fit.
I also like the selection at fommydotcom (sorry, as a new user i'm not auth to provide links)
Does anyone have insight into any of these holsters? Thanks.
Found some new case designer out there, are they any good ? anyone tried ?

1) Leather case, no flip. I like that it's made out of leather and it protects all corners despite having the korean hole thing for TV.

2) Leather cases with flip.
They all look awesome and not that expensive, help me decide !!!
Here's my criteria for choosing a protective case :
1) A case that would allow me to dock the phone (on a Samsung desktop dock) without removing it from the case
2) and a case with a hole on the bottom to allow me to charge it, without having to open the case.
So far, I have found none.
Lemme know if you find one.
The spelling on that eBay page is dreadful, Black is spelt "blcak"

I believe with the zenis dock you can dock the phone with any regular case (the no flip one or any silicon one for example would work with this dock)

It's the only dock I know so far that has a removable part to allow case + phone docking.
As for the charging hole thing on flip cases, well, cut it out yourself
^^Can they sync too?
My Xoom came with a Cyber Acoustics leather case. It has a lot of advantages, is very well made, but I would like something that simply protects the case and allows me to use the HD audio dock, without removing it. Access to all the ports and the power button is an obvious "must have". Grippy back surface would be a plus. I was looking at the Body Glove Phantom, but they don't seem to be available any more. Does anyone have a recommendation?
I have an Incipio shell. Works very well.
I went to look at the Incipio cases. They have at least 3 made for the xoom. One described as the kickstand case, one called feather ultralight hardshell, and one called Silicrylic. It never can be easy can it?
Heh. I have the red Featherlight.
If less is more, there is always the gel case. All ports (apart from SD card slot I think) are open.

Thanks Kenny,
I bought the featherlight and it's just what i was looking for...well made, secure fit, not cluttered with features that just add bulk.

Yeah, I must have bought 5 or 6 Xoom cases in the time I've had it, and this one is the one I've settled with (I'd better buy a spare while I still can, come to think of it).
What I use when carrying it around is this case, which has a pouch that I keep a small BT keyboard in, as well as my USB OTG cable and a cleaning cloth.

Yust use the gel case
Hey,
Recently got my OPO and I really like the phone naked. However I really DON'T like the fact it sits on its camera lens, so I'm going to get a case. I'm more or less set on getting the ORZLY protector as well if that matters.
Here is the one hiccup where I often run into issues: the case has to have a very large headphone jack opening. I wear headphones daily at work that come off my phone. I use the Audio Technicia M-50s which have a large metal plug. It needs to have about 1/2 inch clearance on all sides for the plug to fit securely.
The Nillkin looks like a good bet, however I can't tell on the Amazon pictures if the top back actually ends at the top of the phone or if comes up and wraps around. The Diztronic TPU is also a consideration, however I can't tell if the hole is large enough.
Here is a picture of the M-50 plug for reference:

I would suggest the Diztronic case. I really like mine. The headphone opening is large and tapered. If you need a larger opening you could just cut or drill it larger. More images here https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/...-nillkin-diztronic-and-more-pics-heavy.84645/
I have the same ATH-M50's as you. When i ordered my case i was a bit worried that the plug wouldn't fit, but the idea was just to return it if it proved to be no good. Luckily when the case arrived, the headphone plug fitted fine so i obviously didn't need to return it. The case i have is the same Diztronic TPU case as posted above, the only difference being that mine is the black one.
Hi there,
Considering the huge size of the phone, not all car phone holder work with it.
I bought this one from AliExpress:

Cobao brand, around $6, no problem at all, it's big enough for the Mi Max 2, even with a case. I'm using a very slim case, but there is plenty of room for a regular case.
I only buy holders that can "grab" the vent with a hook and a spring, those are very stable, so I didn't consider other options.
You can find it here (not sure if AliExpress store links works for long but just in case): https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Cob...Iphone-6-Plus-5s-For-Samsung/32714737459.html
Thanks for posting the tip!
I ordered one like that. This brand "Cobao" makes some really funky accessories. Even phone holders to fit into car CD drives.
I never used a mount that grabs the vent. Interesting concept. I'm always concerned the mount slips off.
Already had one mount that slipped off the mount, breaking my phone screen when it dropped on the shift stick
Another Option
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00A2AEEGE/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I picked one of these up a while back. It's big enough for the Mi Max 2, but a little too big for smaller phones. Depending on the car and who rides shotgun, it may be a good idea to grab a drill, some bolts, rubber washers, a sharpie, and a screwdriver to mount it properly.
I drive a tiny 97 Corolla, so the back seat was nonexistent to fit this in its intended position. I put it right through an aluminum plate used for supporting an optional "premium" stereo. It was premium for 97, I guess. Now head units are so proprietary that a phone is the best you can do for music in most cases.
Get the Baesues Gravity Lock Holders. They work great even on bumpy terrain unlike magnetic holders but still allow popin/popout usage.
