going to look for a leather holster for my phone, I think. don't like cases much, like holding only the phone in my hand when i'm using it. anyone have a good one?
one option with removable plastic clip (downside is losing the clip); not sure I like the light tan inside:

a bunch of other leather cases on sale here, probably the best prices you'll find; can't be sure of the quality though.
A couple nice ones, I like the vertical one (nice and small) but I need a belt clip for work, wish you could combine the two. both are a little pricey.

I posted this over in a another thread but I bought a Eddie Bauer holster from Best Buy and it fits great. However you cant use a case, hard or gel on it. Reading what you posted you dont use one anyway. Good Luck
Holster
I'm still on the hunt for a leather holster too. My problem is I'm using a Seido Innocase like the one below for everyday wear on a seido belt clip holster, but need a leather holster for tougher environments so I'm hoping to find a case that will accommodate the increased dimensions of the seido case:
I like the Cellet Bergamo mentioned above but not sure if it'll fit.
I also like the selection at fommydotcom (sorry, as a new user i'm not auth to provide links)
Does anyone have insight into any of these holsters? Thanks.

Didn't really see anyone get something like this, so I ordered it and I'll review it once it gets here.

Leather case
I also ordered this armband, so i'll review that too.
Armband
Thanks for the effort here, and the expense put into it. I havent seen the arm band before - I have seen the leather cases, and have wondered how they fit and how well they protect. Looking forward to your reviews.... post up some pics too?
I have purchased 3 or leather holsters from ebay for my Atrix.
Still haven't found anything I liked.
Got the leather case (1st one) depicted today. It is a good case for being under $10, but I was disappointed when I overlooked the fact that it doesn't have a cut out for the power button / fingerprint scanner! I just cut one with an craft knife, but would not recommend the case because of that. Still waiting on the second one. (Should upload pictures soon)
The arm band looks interesting. Will the phone fit in it with case on like the otterbox commuter?

Kinda figured there wouldn't be a cutout for the power button/fingerprint reader based on the pictures of it. Though, i kinda find it funny that i can't seem to click on the different pictures on their page to get a better view. Unless it's just an issue with Chrome.
I'm actually quite a fan of Pure.Gear's leather snap-on case. At first i wasn't sure about it... but after using it... it's quite nice. slippery enough to slide into your pocket... yet enough grip that when holding it, it doesn't feel like it's going to slide out of your hand. fair bit thicker than the other snap-on cases made by Pure.Gear...
Hi all,
I have my Cyan 900 on order and I'm looking for a holster style case - like this Rocketfish product (http://www.rocketfishproducts.com/products/mobile-phones-gps/RF-WR559.html). I had this for my Focus and it was great. Soft faux leather, soft interior, with a magnetic clasp.
Anyway, given that the 900 is new, there isn't much available. So, comparing the dimensions, Motorola Droid RAZR and HTC Titan are close in size. However, seaching for a holster style case (horizontal) for these cases yielded limited results. Does anyone have any suggestions for a horizontal, holster styled case?
Thanks
Looking for the same thing
If your Focus fit in it there is a good chance the NL900 will too. I have a Focus and I use a Golla phone wallet and the NL900 fits perfect in it. I plan on spending the full $100 in promo $ when I go into the At$t store on Monday and pick up mine.

Cheap and looks nice. I tried an all black case with my blue phone and it didnt look good.
Paying 20 - 30 for the same quality is just ridiculous.
The only catch here is that its EXACTLY the length of the phone so if you are looking good corner protection if you drop it in the case move on.
It was snug the first day but has loosened up to the point now after 4 days that it fits nicely. AT first I had to push it in to one side at a slight angle then drop it in but now it almost falls in smoothly.
The shipping to TX was 3 business days. I ordered on Fridayfrom eBay after the phone pre-order and had it on Tuesday

I am tired of waiting on someone to make a good "armored" case (Otterbox cannot seem to get ahead of the game and have release dates far beyond the release of the devices, including being an iPhone ballsack licker) so I found this on eBay for less than $10 including shipping from NYC.
This thing is a blatant ripoff of the Otterbox Defender. The only difference being the pattern on the back of the case, and the kickstand. It comes in three pieces the same as the Defender. It is only missing the built-in screen protector.
But, lets think about it here for a minute...
Otterbox Defender = $50 USD (approx)
Chinese knockoff = $10 USD (approx)
Same protection, save $40.
It's not the most attractive design, but I am not going for pretty, but purpose with the protection it provides. More so than the skimpy-wimpy gel cases, or leather "pouches" that are available. Sure it takes away from the slim design, but I don't think I have to worry about breaking the device unless it happens to land square on it's glass face.
I have a night blue Otterbox Commuter on order, only because it matches the phone. I am awaiting the Ballistic SG Maxx to be released, and I will be done searching for a case.

I searched, but since the post title you referred to had nothing to with what I was posting about, so it didn't show up. :crying:
oh no biggie. I just thought you might want to have a look. I've decided to get the following as my primary case though...and keep this one you've noted as a backup.

My Xoom came with a Cyber Acoustics leather case. It has a lot of advantages, is very well made, but I would like something that simply protects the case and allows me to use the HD audio dock, without removing it. Access to all the ports and the power button is an obvious "must have". Grippy back surface would be a plus. I was looking at the Body Glove Phantom, but they don't seem to be available any more. Does anyone have a recommendation?
I have an Incipio shell. Works very well.
I went to look at the Incipio cases. They have at least 3 made for the xoom. One described as the kickstand case, one called feather ultralight hardshell, and one called Silicrylic. It never can be easy can it?
Heh. I have the red Featherlight.
If less is more, there is always the gel case. All ports (apart from SD card slot I think) are open.

Thanks Kenny,
I bought the featherlight and it's just what i was looking for...well made, secure fit, not cluttered with features that just add bulk.

Yeah, I must have bought 5 or 6 Xoom cases in the time I've had it, and this one is the one I've settled with (I'd better buy a spare while I still can, come to think of it).
What I use when carrying it around is this case, which has a pouch that I keep a small BT keyboard in, as well as my USB OTG cable and a cleaning cloth.

Yust use the gel case
I want to buy a new case for my galaxy s3. I think will buy the case from ebay. I am looking for a strong case. I want a case that even if the galaxy will fall on the floor it won't be scratch or any breaks.
I heard about case mate though, speck and more cases but I don't know which is the best. I don't need any special uses.
If it's drop protection you want
My top 3:
Griffin Survivor (my current case)
Trident Kraken.
Otterbox Defender.
I'd stay away from eBay, knock offs are more common there. Just my personal preference.
Just a side note, any case that provides top of the line drop protection will add bulk. But if your like me and prefer a little bulky then your good.

Yup IMO, UAG gives the BEST overall protection with the SLIMMEST design.
Thank you very much. I think I will buy the UAG case but where can I buy it in good price? I need a shop that send to Israel.
Before you decide to get the uag at least look at the puregear dualtek, it's a sweet case and the best one I've ever used. There's a thread here with a review of it. I personally think its a better case than the uag.
