As you can see i also removed all the Social Hub parts except the "com.seven.Z7" (SevenEngine.apk), this is the second Social Hub app with a "@" logo on it, because this one helps the Email app to automatically get the correct emails server settings.

anyone notice there is no music player widget or facebook app?
There is no music widget but there is a facebook widget in the samsung apps downloadable.
there's a music control that appears on the lockscreen during playback....guess that's more useful than a widget that u have to unlock to use.

Anyone have a list of safe apps to remove from the Droid Inc?

I have root now, and I want to stay stock for awhile. Does anyone have a list of which apps are safe to remove. I mean the vzw blot, and also any sense apps if those can also be removed safely.
Thanks.

I can use TB to remove these right?
BTW, which is rosie, is it the rosie utility or desktop htc sense?
Are any of these apps adding overhead or recommended for removal for other reasons? Why delete things like the FM radio widget - is it just to recover disk space, or does it somehow improve performance or operation?
I'm wondering if there's something intrusive like Sprint's "Carrier IQ" app that spies on their users that should be removed for privacy reasons or if this is just being removed to make things tidier.
You should find this helpful:
Commonly Removed Apps - stock compared to popular ROMs
V CAST Apps
I've been searching all over the internet looking for a way to remove the V CAST Apps app from my rooted DInc. I can't find anything. Doe anyone know what all I need to remove to get rid of it?
And is there a way to keep apps from starting themselves in the background without removing them?
Thanks.
You can always get titanium backup and freeze them.

Like the noob that I am, I forgot that I had installed updates to the V Cast Apps app. Once I uninstalled them, the icon disappeared from the app drawer. Good.
Now, if I were to remove the default browser would I still be able to use the Skyfire browser I have installed on my phone?
I'll check into Titanium Backup. Thanks.

Rename the default browser to something else and see if skyfire still works.

[q] social widgets???

Anyone know of any social widgets for the SGSIIET4G? I was hoping there would be a widget like Feeds and Updates from Touchwiz3. I thought for sure there was a social hub widget somewhere, but maybe that was just for the Honeycomb tablets. Any ideas?

[Q] Issues with Magazine UX feeds on tabpro 10.1

in theMagazine UX user interface I set up Twitter and Youtube for my social widgets. The issue I have is that when I hit the refresh for those widgets in the magazine UX (Twitter & Youtube) it tells me "no more content" but if I press and hold the twitter widget it goes into flip board and my twitter feeds are updated in flipboard. Is this normal? My Sports, News, and Science and technolgy widgets does not have this issue when I refresh those on the Magazine UX screen.
Also, if I signout of Twitter and Youtube from the magazine UX and sign back in to those than it updated on the Magazine home screen.
Any suggestions on how to resolve this? Also, does flipboard has anything to do with this.
Thanks!
