missing apps/widgets - Galaxy S I9000 Themes and Apps

anyone notice there is no music player widget or facebook app?

There is no music widget but there is a facebook widget in the samsung apps downloadable.

there's a music control that appears on the lockscreen during playback....guess that's more useful than a widget that u have to unlock to use.

can someone please post the facebook widget and other samsung apps .. apparently the samsung app will not work for those of us in the united states.. i have tried over wifi and 3g and the samsung app never connects...
they must be blocking it.

good free alternatives to htc apps?

Hi @ll, im looking for good free and preferrably open source apps to the htc apps like widgets clock mail messasing etc etc
i found beatufill widgets 2.56 and k-9 mail to be really good
I've been looking too, namely the Music, Bookmarks and Clock widgets, but haven't found any that are as visually well designed.
I think I've tried all the Music apps available and haven't liked any, over the Sense UI one.
Somewhat stuck because i want the stock 2.1 from the Nexus1, but dont want to flash it until there are good enough replacements.

I think thats a HTC Lockscreen problem, the standard Music Player shows over the Lockscreen in AOSP Roms.

Im running Simply AOSP 2.2 and I was wondering if anyone new of a mod that could add lock screen music controls. Thanks
U should get widget locker... and then u can customize what ever you want on your lock screen..

With widget locker can you just put music control, Like CM, just the back pause and next?

Let me test, your talking about the stock music player right?
It doesnt look like there is a widget for that however, with widget locker you can make it so your pull down menu work while locked so i guess you could put the music player shortcut on the lockscreen then use the player controls in the notification bar while locked..
Unless you find a music widget..
Ok there is a music widget on the market for free and you are able to put that on the lockscreen galaxy s musci widget.
yeah or the MIUI player. I was also wonder how much work it would be to modify the MIUI music widget to be completely clear except for the album art and controls

Ok i got galaxy s music widget off the market and widget locker and it works perfectly stock music player.
Does miui music player have a widget if so then it will work with widget locker.

Yeah I just got widget locker and it works great, now I just dont like the way the music widget looks with my set-up hahaha. Do you have any knowledge on modifying the widget in the apk?

What do u want done with it? Im sorry i cant do it but maybe pm mysterysemotionz, he is an awesome themer and can modify it for you, considering he uses that in his theme he might be able to help.
If you however just want it transparent the Galaxy s Music Player Widget Has A Few Options To Change It, kinda cool, but if you dont want to use the stock music player then talk to mysterysemotionz.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Clock widget?

Is't possible to port the S4 clock widget? I installed the APEX launcher with S4 theme but it doesnt have a clock widget that looks like the S4...it would be nice if somebody knows about it. Thanks

Having the Tab S rooted you can install the APK in a separate way?

here u go bro...the new V2 of my SuperSamsung rom which works with all tab s versions includes the ability to use stock widgets in any launcher as well as on the lockscreen (see post #2 in the link below for a screenshot). Unfortunately...the music widget is missing the buttons (shows song title & artist) but the splanner widget works perfectly!
