Help guys,
I partitioned my sdcard to 1024mb, I am quite curious whats the use of that. Can you help me delete the partition or just let me know how to use it. Thanks in advance.

It depends in what format you partitioned your card. Most use it for an EXT partition which will save your applications to instead of using phone memory.
Windows has a reformat program built in. Type "disc management" into the search bar in the help menu.
Look at this link -

I've been trying to install the cronmod INT2EXT4+ mod, but the phone kept on getting stuck on the bootanimation screen. Then I realised that my phone couldn't mount the sd-ext partition. When I try con cwm recovery , it says:
"Error mounting /sd-ext"
Can somebody tell me what's causing this problem, and how I can fix it?
Thanks in advance

third did you flash int2ext4+ after flashing rom correctly? (silly but some people do that so)
fourth after flashing int2ext4+ ,did you format /sd-ext in mounts and storage?
Don everything, still doesn't work

I've done all of that. At first I thought the problem was because I missed a step or something, but then I discovered that when I try to do a factory reset/format sd-ext, CWM says: "error mounting /sd-ext!"
Thanks for the help, btw!

Also, I used to use INT2EXT+ before, with an ext3 partition, do you think that has anything to do with this?
My previous ROM was Jelly King.
Again, thanks for the help!

Just re format ext partition... using mini partition tool wizard... make it ext 4 with no Linux swap as its not required... & then flash any cm9/10 ..after flashing.. it flash scrip & again wipe it using recovery...

There's a few really good SD card formatting utils about, I have been using one produced by SD™ themselves, solved issues a few times with messed up ext-2, 3, 4 mount points etc...
Worth a factory standard format to know there's no issues, as cwm doesn't always format the ext thoroughly.
HTC Wildfire S - Rooted 806mhz - 4gb internal mem - sturdy old brick
Galaxy Y - rooted - Hyperion 7 tweaked - low resolution, uugghh
Galaxy S2 i9100 - Rooted - playing as we speak....
WM8850 - Rooted - 4.0.3 ICS
HTC One X 16gb - very soon upgrade hurry up

How did u get 4 gb internal
Sent from my Marvelc using Tapatalk 2
Root, used a Rom with tweaked kernal and A2SD installed from zip.
Using clockwork mod - partition my SD to ext 2 or 4 in the size of 4038mb (or there about) I forget the Rom I'm using at the mo... The One X has taken centre stage but it's a variant on JB based on cyanogen mod 10.1 with kernal optimized for Rom and the version of A2SD is specific to the kernal. I'll pm you the details proper from work - and yep it's nice having uber internal storage... No more nagging, and low storage warnings.
Get a good quality SD card to - it makes a big difference on read write speed and less loss of corrupt sectors resulting in size reduction over time.

U did a clean install....but your app data is still there in your internal storage(like obb files, data ,downloads,etc).... Backup what u need in that storage... in recovery again do clean install by "formating data/sdcard (data/media)"or something... not sdcard1... and then flash the rom...hope it helps u....very important.... Backup what files u need...which is in your internal storage!!

yes...
New information: I found that my sdcard's location is "/storage/primary/legacy", I tried to change its name and move it to "/storage/sdcard", but after rebooting the phone it returned automatically to the previous location.
Solved!
just formut sdcard...
The problem is in the file system, it's not fat32 it's unknown, because this sd card has been used on Nokia 3110c (this phone is very old!!)
