Hi,
I am trying to install "V6_SuperCharger_for_Android-Update9_RC5.2.sh.pdf" on my rooted and unlocked arc with .62fw. I have busybox version of 1.19.4 and have the supercharger file on root of sdcard. when i run the script manager and try to run, it says
V6_SuperCharger_for_Android-Update9_RC5.2.sh.pdf
sh:applet not found.
I have the .tar file for busybox v1.18.2 but i am not able to install it.
Please advise.
Rgds,
Rxhy
Remove the .pdf extension of the file and run it again via Script Manager.

Your file name should be like
V6_SuperCharger_for_Android-Update9_RC5.2.sh
You must have that .sh file extension
Or better yet, download the RC6.9 version of the supercharger
And don't forget to touch the image above the 'Su' in Script Manager
Have u give the script SU permission?

First of all, You must be rooted to use the script.
Second, Download ScriptManager from market, free app will do the job.
After installing it,when you rum the app for the first time,it will ask you to "browse as root".You must check the box and then a proceed. You will get some pop-ups and click ok/yes and keep moving till the app gets loaded.
Now, browse to the folder where you have kept the script and open it.
The script manager will open a pop-up and there you must select "run as root" or select "SU" icon and then run the script.
Follow the instructions from the script and then your phone should get SuperCharged!!
Hi,
I was able to install Supercharger finally
I dint find the exact problem..seems there is some issue with the script manager..i totally uninstalled and installed the app almost 12 times..
The process is simple and there is step by step guide on this forum..Really a big THANKS to all the experts there...

In several places in the forums I see DSP manager mentioned as a way to change the sound output from the phone.
It is possible to use the .apk file or flash the .zip file to a stock firmware that is rooted (no other changes), or does it have to be applied to a custom rom?
Ta.
Here you go...
http://www.multiupload.com/7VS5O9KKQ0
Flash as you would a ROM
Hmm, I flashed it and the settings appeared, but they seem to make no difference to the sound output!
Trying via headphones? As I doubt you'd notice from the internal speaker
Other than that I can't help, have no issues personally
Yep, trying via headphones. Seems to make no difference at all. I am running a stock rooted HTC Rom.
Hi, I flashed the DSP from recovery and rebooted. Installation was successful but I can't find the app anywhere in my phone? where do I see it?

For anyone else having this problem:
I didn't find the app I installed so I searched the net for other installation files, and found this:
h ttp://androidforums.com/1446319-post107.html
after I flashed this and rebooted, I got a 'force close' notification for the app. Than I went to /system/app/DSPManager.apk and installed it.
DSP Manager now working great ^^
I did as u said but it gives me a force close and when i try to install it i cant cause its already installed, cant uninstall it either, what should i do ? BTW I'm using AuraxTSense v7.4
did you install the one in the second post as well?
I'm using AuraxTSense 7.0
Yes, first I installed that one, it didn't work, then I installed the other. Is that the problem ? I thought so... so how should I fix it ?
good question..I'm not sure.. try installing the first again
Ok I did it, it removed the app from the app list. What now ? If I try installing it from /system/app it gives an error.
I don't know.. i just rebooted my device and it gave me the force close again. so I did what I did the previous time and ran that app from the location I wrote.. worked like a charm.. again..

I installed the other zip again, gave me a force close so went to system/app and tried to install it but I can't, only have the options uninstall and launch... No idea why is it working for you and not for me...
EDIT: Ok it works now, had to remove first the odex file and install the other zip again
Update DSP Manager
You can remove the DSPManager.apk file using the terminal emulator.
NOTE: You need to have a rooted phone, Superuser & Terminal emulator.
STEPS
1. Change to root user it is granted super-user permissions.
su -2. Then change to the system app directory.
cd /system/app3. Then move the DSPManager.apk to the tmp directory.
mv DSPManager.apk /tmp4. Move the new apk file to the system app directory.
NOTE: Change to the directory where the DSPManager_1.0.apk is.
cp DSPManager_1.0.apk /system/app5. Reboot the phone.
6. Check in the apps list and the new DSP Manager should be in there.
NOTE: If it all worked you can remove the DSPManager.apk from /tmp
rm /tmp/DSPManager.apk
Attached is the version I use on my rooted HTC Desire.
In order to work, DSP Manager also needs a file called libaudioflinger.so in the /system/lib directory in addition to the apk.
The easy way to get this done is to use an update zip for DSP Manager. Get it from one of these links (all links from this page):

I don't think you can install the zip from Astro Explorer because it needs to copy files to the /system partition which is read-only when the phone is booted up. In other words, you must have a rooted phone to do this.
If you do have a rooted phone, then reboot into recovery mode and install the update.zip the usual way.
If you don't have a rooted phone, well that's a whole different story.
i , please help me.
I've installed it via recovery and I made backup with my original needly files: libaudioflinger and libaudio. Then i copied my files back (deleted new files and moved old files) . I restarted my phone and it didn't boot. Just show me the White window (T-mobile)... Can i repair my phone by myself? Please help me and sorry for my english.

I'm sorry I don't really understand the problem. Normally, installing the update.zip should be all that you need to do. I don't understand why you copied the old files back and were those two files the only files that you backed up?
On my rooted Defy - how do I install a zip-file??
Like this one;
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=12426274&postcount=24
install the 2ndinit apk 1.4.2 newer ones wont work with some files
then reboot 2 times.
third reboot: press volume down, when the led is blue.
now choose recovery by pressin vol up or down and power to accept.
then choose costum recovery, and apply zip from sd. choose your file and confirm.
done
hope this answers your question
Thanks, seems simple enough
uh, where do I find 2ndinit.apk
You can find it here.
I know how to install .zip but I have a question. CWM3.1 does not flash some .zip like a baseband or a theme. It says "aborted". I think that the problem is that the file is not signed or something. In CWM2.5.1.8 works but the problem is that CM7 or MIUI changes it to CWM3. So, what should I do?
Thanks!
Works fine, even the mentioned zip-file!
The "issue" is that the latest CWM3.x no longer support "amend scripting" (stored in update-script) and won't apply zip's created with such scripts. Therefore all .zip which where written using the old method should be converted to edify scripting (which use different statements - more details here-).
is there an way to downgrade the 2ndinit? an how-to would be very nice
You can replace the recovery file from /system/bootmenu/recovery/sbin with the one from 2nd init 1.4.2 . The file persimmon should be rwxr-xr-x (755).

and how do i do that? with rootexplorer? what for do i need the file permission? to change it or to set it after changing the files?
Yup. You can replace it using an app like root explorer. And the file permission should be set up after you copy the file (if you have the wrong file permission it won't work).
EDIT: I haven't tried yet to downgrade it this way but that's what I've read on the forum, therefore I cannot guarantee you it will work.
sry for me being a noob. i found the file named recovery in the folder you mentioned. but have got only the file 2ndinit.apk..... where do i get the recovery file from 2ndinit.apk ?
thank you for your time!
You can unpack it using a tool like Apk Manager 4.9 or simply by using 7zip to extract the files from the apk which is in fact some sort of archive. However as I've mentioned in the previous post I didn't tried to downgrade using this method. All I can say is that I've read here on xda about this method, therefore I cannot guarantee you this will work. I think is better to wait someone with more experience to answer.
As an unexperienced user i think i'll wait for a better solution.
As i read, this problem appears quite often, how come that nobody tried to make a solution for this problem?
How do I install the V6 Supercharger script from the galaxy w on stock rom?
Well as far as i know, the script itself only need su / root permission to launch, not a custom rom .
So i think how to install it is still quite the same :
(From Kezra in his thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1438452)
Instructions for V6 Supercharger
(1) Download this file and put in somewhere in your memory card
(2) Go to the Market and download "Script Manager"
(3) Open Script Manager and go to Config and choose "Browse as Root"
(4) Browse to where the script is and choose it
(5) Select only the ROOT symbol and then RUN
(6) First choose option 2 and when asked again choose option 6 (if you feel like taking a chance, choose option MEGA RAM 2) and V6 will install.
(7) After you are done with installing browse to /data/ in the memory of the phone, a file called 99SuperCharger.sh will be there
(8) Choose it, select run at boot
(9) Reboot and you should be done, enjoy.

U can run V6 supercharge script and check all the status there. It will show the percentage of supercharge.
Of course, u might not "feel" it. But ur phone has better multitasking and ram management then before.
Darn Rebooting Cycle
i tried the newest supercharger and i have done all the correct setting on stock rom.
it was all going perfect then when i reboot my phone it loads up normally then after 25seconds it reboots over and over again. to stop this i have to remove the memory card from the device
i quickly undone the script and deleted the 99 data file.
For all of this rom and kernel and flashing is much more complicated than the ios jailbreaking. and i try to do it. wipe my phone and all of the instructions but it never works for me. i have rooted my phone.
and a question what is your default VM heap and what are you currently using.
finally when i first got my phone the version was 2.3.6 now is 2.3.5.
I installed. Exit the script. Then went to data. I saw that 99supercharger.sh....clicked....it showed: "open as", but cannot choose to set on boot or sth. now restore my rom and install again. Can you teach me as soon as possible?

Here's what i did on mine.
1. Download V6 SuperCharger Starter Kit. This includes the latest busybox and all you need to start.
2. Download Supercharger script(i use the RC8.2).
3. Before you run any supercharge script MAKE SURE that you uninstall any memory management application(eg. Ram Manager, etc, etc,) or else it won't run and gives an error "cr-app".
4. Run the StarterKit, just run StartMeUp.sh to install everything at once.
5. Run The RC8.2 (incase the keyboard doens't show just long press on the screen and choose "Select Input Method" and choose your prefered keyboard, thanks to mohza).
6. Somewhere on the process you would need to choose on build.prop or local.prop, Choose Build.prop because sometimes the Local.prop doesn't stick.
7. After the configurations, you need to choose on what you want to run, Choose Number 7 or the Aggressive Super Ledded (higher OOM its 125mb :highfive: , if you doesn't know what i mean just ignore this ).
8. Install the Nitro Lag Nullifier(experimental but who knows?).
9. That's it, there's something displayed there(just search for it) on how many
percentage your supercharge is, if its 100% then your done, oh and make a widget for 99supercharge.sh incase you need to run it next time when it won't run on boot.
10. try some experiment
NOTE: Anything you can see that is not included on the steps i provided means you are the one who needs to decide and those doens't affect much.
Hope this helps :good:
Hi guys, who can give me the tutorial to install V6 Supercharger ? ? Please .....
Guys I looked around and didnt find anything regarding our phones and this script so I decided to post it here. If I missed it and there is a thread about it, forgive me.
Recently the developer updated his script so it can run on ICS too. Is anyone running the script?? Would it be useful for our phones?

Nope.
and
Probably not much use at all. Zeppelinrox originally created it for phones with low amounts of memory (originated on the milestone which has 256mb and would constantly kill the launcher etc), I'm not sure if anythings changed now in the script, but we have heaps of memory, and I just don't see the point.
That's weird... this device has the most supercharged services.jar downloads...

Hmmmm, interesting... Hopefully someone who has an idea can shine some light for us. There must be a reason the script developer created a section specifically for ICS??

Could you give us a quick rundown of what you did?? Specifically did you do that whole process about ODEX/DEODEX roms??
Make sure you have terminal emulator before replacing your services.Jar!
First use root browser to copy your services.Jar to your sdcard it is in the /system/framework folder.
Then go to http://android.mimic.ca and upload your services.Jar file.
Afterwards, I downloaded the modified services.Jar because the flashable cwm option didn't work for me.
I copied the modified services.Jar to /system then changed its permissions to the same permissions of the other .jar files in the /system/framework folder.
Then move the services.Jar with changed permissions to the /system/framework folder.
Once you have done that, open up terminal emulator.
Type this out, and press enter when said:
Su enter
Cd /system/framework enter
Chown 0.0 services.Jar enter
Chmod 644 services.Jar enter
Then reboot!
Start Up script manager.
Browse to the supercharger v6 pdf and click on it. Press su to run the script with superuser permissions.
The script will load and is mostly self explanatory. It will take you through the options when you first run it. I put the text scrolling on fast and disable the animation and integrate when it asks.
When you get back to the main menu, I usually use option 10. It calculates what minfree values to use based on the ram of the phone.
After all this, reboot once more and run the script again to see if you are 100% supercharged!
EDIT: if you run into bootloops by moving your services.Jar incorrectly, then just reflash your rom without wiping.

Option 10 shouldn't ask you to input anything else. It should use the minfree calculator and set itself. Are you using update9 RC7? If it still isn't working for you, then try option 8 which should be the 768 settings

Hi, my phone is xperia mini "STOCK ICS 4.0.4" Bootloader locked, can i use these procedures to 100% supercharge my phone?
So when the new files are copied into the framework, is the old service.jar file supposed to be deleted? Do the new files need the permissions values changed? No matter what i do I can't get a 100% supercharge on my LG-E739
I did it. Go to the V6 Supercharger forum and read the instructions. It is very easy! But the most iportant part is for you to use the V^ startup kit he has included because it has the right busybox version you need dude!
