Here it is, clean sense 2.1 ROM WITHOUT 3.0 stuff!!

hi all,
seems like some people would like to see a clean sense 2.1 rom without all the 3.0 **** that makes it kinda slower, wel here it is!

no its the AceS-DesireHD port... the SagaS-DesireS port doesnt seem to be there for download... the AceS-DesireHD has the same small fonts as the old DesireHD ports...

i love sense 3.0

yes sense 3.0 is very nice on a Sensation or flyer...

When I looked at Sense version on a Flyer it said 2.1

I agree. 3 lock screen, 3 style 3D rotation, 3 style carousel... Must be features ripped from 3.0 sense. Like he devs have here.

Ok...nice to see android 4 with sense 3.5 ..but...sense 3.5 with gb runs not good on our desire (think about multitask etc) so i dont think one version higher with no source can be run good...
Anyway...thx for pointing this out..howdid...really really nice...but i dont see this rom on desire...it cant handle this..i bought my desire with sense 1.0 and android eclair...and i think we have done good work...sense 2.1 and max sense 3.0 with android gb...but sense 3.5 with android 4...i dont know...

The OP has not violated rules by posting this in dev section. Whether this can be ported or not will be seen in the long run..

I thought sense 3.5 was supposed to have been optimized more for lower spec like bliss...?

With less memory and less CPU runs Sense 3.5

Would be more interesting than a sensation port...i think...anyone got a link to such a rom..maybe its not so ram intensive

One would simply (it's not so simple ) have to resize each and every m10 to our resolution. More important are lib files..
Even the CPU would be having different drivers..Some amount of kernel modification too would be required..Anyway, we already have Sense 3.5..It's Android 4.0 with Sense that's exceptional in this Sensation release

It could be..Or we could make a hybrid of the Sensation Rom + some resource heavy files from this one.. I've got some exams this month and the next..Plus my Desire's been put up on Ebay for sale Otherwise I'd have liked to explore this =)

Any idea why our phone is getting sense 3.6 in its ics update instead of sense 4.0?

Because the image chip technology that is used in the new HTC One series. However, nitsuj is making a sense 4 port for our phones.
It's the best! Beats the rest!

yea ive been looking at the progress of that rom every now and then it defiantly has sparked my interest but i wanna wait till it has a few more things working. once sms is working on it ill probably give it a test run. Thanks for the info ive been searching google for a reason but couldnt find one for the life of me.
Edit: just took another look at it and sms is working so ima give it a go and see how it goes.

sense 4.0 is reserved for ics launch phones (atm only the one series) but will be interesting to see if non one series phones like inc 3/hd gets it or not
sense 3.6 is fine, and will be welcome when its official...hopeuflly the 3.xx kernel and libs/bins help us with sense 4 ports

If there was, it would be here. However, since your post is a request/question, it should either be in the General forum or Q&A. Please PM a Mod to have it moved .
There is a Sense 4.0a port in progress (Primo) - that's really your best bet, if you don't want Sense 3.5.

no Sense 3.6 for E4G, like capt said a 4.0 is in progress, but this kind of threads go on Q&A dude.... maybe u didnt post it there cuz no1 would reply? if so its pretty obvious why, u dnt even need to use search to see there aint 3.6 Roms for evo 4g....

Thanks lol, so is there a Sense 3.6 ROM for the Evo 4G??? I've tried the PrimoOG ROM but I couldn't even get to the log in screen after I flashed it

btw I know PrimoOG isn't a Sense 3.6 ROM

Why not? Is it not possible or something. Or is it that no one is interested in making it?

Yea none as of now, but i think a dev asked on a thread a while back agon if the people wanted a sense 3.6 rom. so we may get one pretty soon.
Plus, i would go with sense 4.0a when its done, since it'll run smoother on our older hardware than 3.6

PrimOG is sense 4a which is a stripped down version of sense 4. The htc one V(primo) has a 1ghz single core processor and 512mb of RAM just like the evo4g so in theory it should run faster then sense 3.6

Sense 4.0a specifically. In other words, the primog rom. It would run smoother because sense 4.0a is what runs on the HTC One V, the lowest spec phone in the one series. The one v's specs are pretty much the same as the evo 4g. 512 ram, 1 ghz processor . I think 3.6 is made for phones with more ram than ours

Ok I understand now. BUT since my Evo is no longer in service I use it as an mp3 player/mini tablet. And sense just going to be eyecandy. All I need is sound, working WiFi, screen works, camera, etc...

So all you really need is a gingerbread AOSP rom, most likely cyanogenmod. UNLESS you WANT eyecandy, in which case Sense 4.0a has enough without sacrificing nearly as much power as 3.6 does.

Yes, I want the eyecandy but the sense 4.0a Rom won't work on my Evo so I'm waiting for it to be finished. Until then I'll be running sense 3.5 ROM

if im honest sense 3.5 is the most id put on my phone to use everyday but if u get it done id definitly give it a try

I do believe there is alot more to it than just changing the build.prop, alot more coding and that. I would help if i had the knowledge but i dont sorry. Good luck with the project though.

i think shaky actually finished sense 4.0 (by finished i mean working on desire) and i think it was just the kernel that was the problem. oh yh plus the hundreds of moaners & naggers

I see shaky is making jb Rom in Twitter ,maybe he will not port sense 4 or fix bugs
