[Q] AOSP Dialer/Contacts on new GB Sense Roms?

Is it possible to port the AOSP dialer and contacts (like CM7) to the new GB sense rom leaks?

As far as I know, it's not possible. The contacts/dialer are very integrated into the Sense framework, and I can tell you from personal experience that removing either will completely break the ROM.

Is it possible to put sense ui 3.5/2.1 on cm9?? can it be develop?

CM9 is a senseless rom.

It can be done.............but only HTC can do it 'cause they have the sources of sense
Sense 3.6 compatible devices have Official ICS updates with Sense 3.6
But there is no use in asking HTC because they won't give an ICS update to our phones

NO i meant that if it sense can be integrated to CM9 so that it would have a sense ui? gets?

Sense takes up a lot of space, and it isn't just one or two apks, so I'm thinking no.

IF is is possible then good if not theres nothing we can do just the launcher would be nice

i meant the same thing............a developer possibly can't(and maybe won't) integrate sense into CM9..........it just make it look like it's old
Try LP sense launcher if you miss sense so much

Nope they can't. All the sense apps like camera etc work on a framework. And all are interrelated. to put it simple. You cant change the base of the sense rom.

It works like this...
Normal APKs -> normal frameworks -> normal libs -> normal kernel shiz
Now here's the problem
Sense apks -> normal frameworks -> normal libs -> normal kernel stuff
1. You are missing the Sense needed framework files and inter grated stuff
2. You are missing sense libs
3. You are trying to run GB framework on ICS. This would practically make it become gb.

Unless you get a Sense 3.6 ROM or an alternative launcher and theme it to look like 3.6, no.

Can anyone tell me what is the best rom with Sense 3.6 for Desire HD?
Do you know how to add Tabbed UI and the black keyboard(like the sense 4.0) in ROMs with Sense 3.6?
I think the ROMs with Sense 3.6 would be perferct with these improvements..

It is hard for someone to tell you what the best rom is, what works good for me may not work for you. The best thing to do is try them that way you will see which you like better etc.

And for adding Tabbeb UI or the Sense 4 Keyboard ?

Can Senseless ROMs use the Sense Camera, or has the entire Sense framework been ripped out?

Sense apps cannot be used on senseless Rom. Period.

They just remove the Rosie launcher in nonSense rom.
No way to get that camera in to cm10

I'm using this MIUI ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1952325 and it has the sense camera...I was using CM10, moved to this and its awesome

Well the Senseless roms are just the normal sense rom with removed launcher, so the framework is still there and you should be able to use the camera.
As for CM and such, it doesn't have the framework, and putting it on there would be copyright infringement, or something of the sort. Atleast thats what i have understood so far.

Try Viper ROM
ViperX 2.7.1 it is a sense rom, with stock kernel is the best. I tried others, but my phone never had that smooth performance and battery live. I've seen many go to CM, MIUI, Jellybeans and come back. Any way, thats my advice.
