Guy'z on Creedsrom V2.1 this is the way we can install any other sound enhancer or dsp manager (best choice of mind ) this is from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1477873.. or simply this is the steps do we need..
The problem is xloud engine because of it any audio enhancer wont work in creeds v2.1.But u can remove xloud engine.
Before doing this do a backup of your files I'm not responsible if any thing goes wrong.
1.Use any root explorer and mount system as writable.
2.Go to system/app delete audioeffectservice.apk.
3.Go to system/lib/soundfx delete libxloudwrapper.so
4.Go to system/lib and replace libaudioeffect_ini.so file with one i attached(first unzip it them replace with libaudioeffect_ini.so)
5.Go to system and open build.prop with text editor and delete the lines under Xloud engine(4 lines till bravia engine) then save it and do a full reboot.
now Xloud engine should be removed and all audio enhancers should work.
TESTED ON MY LITTLE SGY.. ^_^

Hi
my phone sound is very good but there is a one problem
the tick effect sound is very low i tried to flash a xloud fix but it didnt help, i think it is not a xloud prob
can any one tell me the files which may be related
regards
The tick sound should be in /system/media/audio/ui folder, you can try editing the .ogg file to make it louder.
Working with Google Play Music on stock 4.3. I manually installed this DSP Manager. Original thread. May only work with certain apps.
Copy the files* to correct folders and SET PERMISSIONS! ( rw- r-- r--)
Restart your device. Make sure that DSPManager is selected in Settings / Sound / Audio Effects.
A 2nd reboot may be needed as well for the changes to take place.
* Ignore the META-INFO folder in the zip. Flashable with CWM Recovery when released.
** Rename / backup existing files if you want to undo. No need to delete AudioEffects.apk

Works without root access ?
Hello, i'd like to install the Cyanogen's DSP Manager, but i don't have the root access, and i don't want to unlock my BL, can i install the APK directly into the phone, with a file brower for example ?
I am not sure that the DSP Manager will work properly that way.
I will test this, i will install directly the APK, and i will reboot my phone and i see if this solution works fine, and if she not working, i'll root my phone, because the Motorola DSP Manager sucks, the soud is very bad ..
have you tried Audio DSP on Google Play?
it works
DSP Manager Works fine without root access, but i don't have the tab for the WM8994, it's normal ?
I try install DSP Manager on my MotoG with 4.4.2 US rooted follow the guide of "lost101" and work fine with Google Music :good:
It seems that not all the effects are working properly but the equalizer is ok!
Works on Moto X? KitKat 4.4.2?
Any update for 4.4.2?

We all know what can DSP manager is able to make our devices sound like, i was just checking on the internet to internet about installing DSP manager manually where it is not possible to install from custom recovery and found some stuff here
I was wondering if this could work on MIUI , i followed the steps and it worked.
Install DSP Manager manually.
extract the attached zip to internal storage
Use root explorer and copy DSPManager.apk to System\app
Copy and paste Soundfx to System\Lib and replace it
Copy audio_effects.conf to System\Vendor\etc and replace it.
Give full permissions to all of these files...
restart your phone and there you have the DSP manager enjoy the happiness of music.
HOW to ENABLE Sony Audio effects(custom rom only)
1st you needed things below:
1. Current custom rom build.prop file (copy this file from system folder of rom)
2.Notepad++
3.Sony Audio Effects file
4.Sony Permission enabler file
5.AND finally, this text file must be needed
links are below
openload.co/f/jH9RXsFN8i0/Sony_Audio_Effect.zip
openload.co/f/EXO-eopYW5U/SAE_permissions.zip

How to Enable:
1st open the SAE.txt text file while using Notepad++ and copy the all text without any changes
2nd edit build.prop file using Notepad++ after pasted copied text into the end of the file, now save the build.prop file

Flashed the zips in LOS and I don't find any change in the audio, there should be a settings option somewhere right?

Use Sony Music player and see the effects...
after you flashed all files... you can download sony official apps from google play store
Installed the Sony music player, but can't enable the sound mod (ClearAudio+) in settings. The option appears when I open the settings but then it disappears instantly (had to screen record to get the first screenshot) and the "Audio Settings" option takes me to the stock AudioFX app. ?
