Hi there!
I flashed my wave s8530 with multyloader from bada 1.2 to 2.0 - everything was ok,( all files are writen ok) but phone freezes after restart at bada logo .
Tryed again with different firm, but the problem is the same.
( phone is europen version and i tryed with european full firmware )
Any suggestion are wellcome.

I tryed only with full firmware ( bada 1.2 bada 2.0) - even this from your link
Kies is installed- drivers are ok, multyloader recognised phnone and everything
done ok. Phone restarted there is config menu...after that freezes at bada logo
again and again.
Maybe the phone is for service..

Problem whit Flashing ROM
1. I have HTC P3300 in france lang. I try many times to flash it in to ENG rom, whit every rom and USPL, RomUpdateUtility.......... without succes!
When I try to flash it, he started to 3% and the PDA he turnig OFF from self and on screen of flashing utility says: The image file is corrupted. Please check your update utility !!!!!!!!!
I need help to flash becouse every 5 or 15 min he restarted from self, white screen, blocking app, and cant be turned ON in next 1 hour!
What to do?
My PDA is:

Version of ROM: 3.13.406.1 FRE
Date of rom 8/28/07
ver. radio 02.94.90

flashing with windows xp gives least problems!
use good rom (original rom of for example touch roms from meschle), maybe the error is in the rom you use!
always use uspl beforte flashing!

hy serraphym,
you can extract a phone part by using Mirage. you have to download a complete rom such as Mirage PDXHH1 or PDXHL2, you have to load the rom and then, before the detect, kill the "process" in the Task manager.
so under the root directory you will have the three partes of the rom.

hi dinko,
you can start the changing by installing a full rom called "mirage PDXHH1" (wm 6.0); it's a 128 dpi, english naturally, and it isn't really very recent.
after then you can decide to install an official upgrade (wm 6.1) by using the link of samsung at http://www.samsungmobile.com/support/i780/index.jsp or by a cooked rom. in this second way you must have XP and you need:
1. the mirage software http://rapidshare.com/files/110283700/Mirage_LV_v1.8.rar
2. driver samsung http://org.downloadcenter.samsung.c...26233621765_MCCI_WHQL_Modem_Driver_4.38.5.exe
3. install activesync

I tried to go at http://www.samsungmobile.com/support/i780/index.jsp before updating my phone. I entered UK as country, XP as windows version and then I entered PDXHH1 which is the version you described. It says that version if wrong

PDXHL2.If you search on this forum you'll find the official updater, to use it just flash your pda part with a hl2 based rom via mirage and than run the official updater.
i already have PDA ROM PDXHL2 but when I try to update with official updater it says incorrect version. Btw, my PHONE ROM is DXHH1.
Any idea?

if you have a dxhh1 and you want to install a pda part L2 (?) you have to flash with "mirage" only . open this sw, click on "pda" button and choose the rom you have to install.

I've just installed it on my diamond.GPS and GPRS are working fantastic.GPS less than 15 seconds(after cold start with gps tool).Voice on calls are superb.
I use Dia duit rom 1.6.7.

i tried installing the blackstone version but because my Diamond wasn't SUnlocked it locked the phone & it was real scary trying to fix it but i eventually managed...
Edit: Just installed perfectly on my BSB Ultimate ROM, pity it wiped my info though...
So... on 2.11 based roms it DOESN'T work???

i cant update with samsung kies because it tell me that there isnt any update....
i want to update to bada 1.2 european rom(i live in portugal) and with a rom that have portuguese language because this kor rom just have english/french/asian languages

well with multiloader i installed bada 2.0 european version(last one on samsfirm) but there is a problem in the sms... i received sms and the sender name doesnt appear, only the number, even if he is on my contact list....
i installed bada 1.2 european and still the same problem....
i get back to bada 1.0 arabic version and now the problem with the sms is fixed....
so what is the problem?? why cant i use bada 2.0 or 1.2 european version on this phone with sms correctly being display... this is very strange...
To solve the problem, you need to install a full European firmware. Bada 1.2 is preferrable.
As you live in Portugal, you may prefer a firmware for Portugal. If so, choose a firmware with the OXC csc. (OXC csc is for Spain, Greece and Portugal. After installing, go to Pre-Configuration setting and select the correct csc for Portugal (I think it is TPH).
You can always upgrade to bada 2.0 whenever it is available (hopefully in October, or maybe next; Samsung never keep to their promised dates).

No. You cannot. And it makes no sense in trying a csc from Arabia bada 1.0 in a bada 2.0 firmware for Europe.
If you choose to flash with the bada 2.0 beta firmware, download a complete firmware from samfirmware.com for bada 2.0 and flash with the complete package.
In case you need to replace the csc file therein with aany particular csc, you need to modify that yourself. There lots of tutorials for creating your own csc for bada 2.0 beta firmware.
