So I installed Cm 7.1 smoothly. But it never works.
here is what I've tried:
Install CM 7.1, reboot into recovery and install google apps, nothing shows up
Install CM 7.1, reboot into recovery and install pacman, nothing shows up
Install CM 7.1, reboot into recovery and manually install the android market apk, Can launch the market but when I try to login it crashes.
Install CM 7.1 then install apps and then reboot. No google apps show up.
I'm kind of lost right now.
Thanks!

Try using SuperWipe then while still in recovery flash your rom and flash gapps right after.
If that fails I'd suggest flashing one of the CM Nightlies a lot of the earlier issues found in 7.1 have been cleaned up in nightlies.
Which gapps are you using and have you tried flashing them before letting CM7 boot the first time?

Hi there, I installed CM10 (Android 4.1.2) on my HTC Wildfire S, the installation went fine, yes I wiped everything except SD Card before installing CM10 and after installing CM10 I downloaded Gapps from the Goomanager app already pre-installed in CM10.
However after installing and rebooting, CM10 showed ''Android is updating'' and it updated the 10 apps and finished the boot, but after I went to the apps menu there was no Play Store nor other Google Apps.
I reinstalled CM10 and Gapps, I installed the most recent version of gapps but nothing appears on the apps menu.
Please help!
BUMP, sorry guys but I've been trying to install gapps on the damn CM10 for 4 hours already and still nothing.
I've wiped the dalvik cache, cache, data, system and installed CM10, booted CM10 then rebooted and installed gapps, it shows up saying ''Android is updating'' but afterwards no Play Store, this is drivin me nuts.
Use the gapps provided in the Rom thread.

Thanks for replying, I downloaded the gapps package from goomanager and from the computer, both were the same packages but both failed, they installed successfully but no Google Play Store, funny thing is if I install Google Play Store manually through an apk file, it opens fine but then crashes.
Strange.
Push the apk to /system/apps, and don't forget to fix permissions.
I just updated from CM9.0 to 9.1. The step I've taken is install zip, clear cache and thats all.
Now after reboot, it's like I haven't install GAPPS. I installed it when I first install 9.0 but now after flashing 9.1 (without full wipe cause it's only 9.0 to 9.1) Play Store crashes, Gmail too, no add Google account option in settings. Except for that everything is okay.
I read through posts saying installing GAPPS helps but I was wondering why, when I installed it on 9.0.
On CM9/9.1 GAPPS are wiped by installing an update of CM, flash GAPPS again.
The update removes earlier version of CyanogenMod completely in order to avoid issues.
Just reinstall GAPPS.
Currently running a rooted Nexus 7 (2013) WiFi edition on CM 12.1 (official). Tried updating to CM 13. (official - Nightlies) through OTA.
Clear Dalvik Cache & Cache (by TWRP)
Installed CM 13.0 nightlies
Once again cleared Dalvik and Cache
After the boot was completed, the Google Play Services stopped, the device was no longer recognized in my PC (though there was no "failed to install driver" message on my PC). I rebooted but faced with a boot-loop.
I was bound to clean install CM 12.1 once again. Please advice me what have I done wrong? Thanks in advance!

For me works next (N7 2013 wifi)
- advanced wipe (/system, and ect)
- install CM 13 (12/06)
- install open Gapps (for 6 android 12/06 pico)
- reboot
I did it like qwasss. For me it worked exactly the same way. Took my gapps also from opengapps... I did a dirty flash.
Important: after flashing CM 13 through TWRP do not reboot the system! Flash gapps first!

I bought a Galaxy S3-L710 from eBay and it comes with CM12.1 Nightly and Google Play installed. Everything seems to be fine. But, I didn't use the phone, it just sitting somewhere collecting dust.
I tried to flash CM12.1 Stable a few days ago and I have problem installing Google Play.
This is what happened:
CM12.1 Stable is fine when I flashed it. But, it show Google Play not OK.
So, I re-flash the Google Play from OpenGApp.
Then, Google Play got stucked.
Maybe because I didn't uninstall the Old Google Play before I install New Google Play.
Is there any way to reinstall Google Play? I know there's a way. I just don't know exactly how.
Here is Before and After of the state of my Phone:
Before:
ROM Manager: TWRP (forget the version number, but I'm sure it's not latest)
OS: CM12.1 Nightly 201504xx
After:
ROM Manager: CWM 6.0.45 (Non-touch)
OS: CM12.1 Stable (12.1.20151117)
GApp version I tried: open_gapps-arm-5.1-micro
Please advise. Thanks.
To flash new Google apps (gapps), you go to Twrp (forget ROM manager) and wipe system, then flash cm12.1 and open gapps. Wipe cache and dalvik cache and reboot system.
If it still gives you trouble
Boot Twrp, wipe system, and data, cache and dalvik.
Then flash cm12.1 (make sure its for d2spr) and open gapps then boot up.
Anyone know how to make Chrome & YouTube work?
YouTube just keeps loading and loading
Chrome starts to load and stays there when I go to a site. It also closes out and tabs won't work, and probably the rest of the app functions
I tried force stopping, clearing cache, data and installing older versions but that didn't work
Running Unofficial version of Lineage OS 14.1 on LG Volt Ls740 Android 7.1.1
Also flashed Beans Gapos and fixed some other Gapps related problems with methods I read up on (AS, Google Webview, and updating Play servicea
Someone please reply with an answer
You could possibly have corrupted ROM.zip or gapps.. That'll do some crazy stuff with exact same issues from every reflash.. It's happened to me before

Reflash OpenGapps
Hey dude!
You can reflash Opengapps in the recovery.
Simply install the Open GApps package directly from Recovery and wipe Dalvik and cache after flashing the updated GApps.
