I'm awaiting my new galaxy nexus gsm in the mail.
I'd appreciate some insight anyone would like to share with me for a few questions please...
1) is the mugen huge double battery pack worth it? The giant one that comes with a new door?
2) are there any cases that will fit that huge extended battery?
3) I've read conflicting reports about the otter box fitting both Verizon and gsm versions. Can anyone give me first had experience?
Thank you

1) EVIL JIMMY has a very in depth thread on this very sub forum that will allow you to make your own educated decision (I just responded after it had been buried since Feb 20th, so check it out).
2) LTE ONLY, but there's a chance Seidio will make a GSM version as well, since they also make a GSM extended battery.

Keep an eye out, or just shoot them an email - they have pretty good customer service.
3) I had the otterbox that Verizon sells.. wasn't a fan. If you're skipping the extended battery, Diztronic has a phenomenal case. http://amzn.com/B0065PGWQ0

Do some research, use the search function, and quit being lazy. I would have gladly helped you since I've used a couple of those cases but there's no need for personal attacks.

So I just bought the gsm nexus and I will be hooking it up to straight talk's att mnvo. Any recommendations on:
1. Accesories
2. Roms
3. Mods
4. How I can assist this community
I am excited to finally get here and I have a couple of years experience with android but I have only done small mods to gps as far as any dev experience goes which I know really doesn't count nowadays.
1. 2000mah battery/case
2. cm10/aokp
3. inductive charging mod http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1470694
4. read the faq's before attempting #2
Cruzerlite cases are sweet. Avoid getting an extended battery unless you spring for the good brands like seido or mugen. Get yourself the toolkit from development section and do some reading before getting started. Welcome!

Lol at #4... What you don't want endless Q/A threads about how I soft bricked my device?
I'm glad I can find some peace over here. Verizon is charging me too much and HTC is tanking unless it figures something out soon.
I got a $20 Hyperion 3800 battery w/back for $20 off Amazon. Followed the conditioning instructions and get almost 2 days of moderate use. NFC also works.

Hey all,
So I'm currently waiting for my Samsung Galaxy Nexus to arrive (Excited!)
I've been looking at the extended batteries available in the US for LTE models.
The model I have ordered is a GSM one...but I would also like an OFFICIAL extended battery and Case for my phone. Do these exist? After much searching I have struggled to find one.
If so, does anyone know where I may be able to purchase one, or have it delivered in or to the UK?
Battery life has always been the problem I hate most about Smartphone's!
Many thanks for any advice in advance
P.s. I only want an official one, as I don't want to change the look of the phone too much! If there are unofficial ones which fit the bill, I am more than happy to take recommendations! Cheers guys

I'm looking for a reasonably priced non OEM battery that is equivalent to the OEM extended battery (2100mah) and it MUST have NFC. I don't want anything where I have to change the OEM extended battery door. Can anyone recommend one?

Why not find one on ebay? Even on this forum, many members have an extra new 2100 lying around, myself included

My choices on ebay are the OEM 2100 which are not really much cheaper than what verizon is running it on sale now or 3100 non-OEM one's that have NFC, but I don't want 3100.
I'm not familiar with the process for "buying" through the forum. Can you enlighten me. I'd be willing to do that if it was a good price. I guess I was just trying to see if anyone had stumbled on one and has experience with it. I'd like to spend $13 or so.

Well... buying on the forum... i guess it's all trust. Go to the appropriate thread and find someone who said they have an extra (there are a few over at the thread about the Sprint 2100 offer). This usually has to do with Paypal, but just PM the guy/gal and see what you can arrange with them.
BTW, are you located in the US or elsewhere?

US. Thanks for the info.
Not sure if this is the right section. I apologize if it isn't.
Reason for selling: Bored w/ the phone as there is no root option yet. For any purists out there this is great phone and has been meticulously taken care of since day one.
Details:
Condition: Mint; Like New
- 32GB Galaxy Note 4 AT&T White
- Moshi Tempered Glass Screen Protector
- Grey Body Glove Case
- Zero Lemon 10000 mAh Case & Battery (about 2 days of battery life)
- Updated to most recent software (can downgrade if needed)
Looking for an AT&T Model. Color doesn't matter. PM if you have what I'm looking for and we can take it from there.
I'm not sure if they have a section here for this but...
Have you tried your luck on swappa? That may be a good option for you, idk. Best of luck

I checked Swappa briefly yesterday but it looks like you have to sell your phone and then buy one.
