Search the forum for Call Delay Patch. It will solve the problem, but I don't know how to flash it. It is possible that you can install it as a normal app.

Thanks.
I found it on the app market, installed it and made no difference
The search for the answer continues.

sorted it out. For some reason removing the dialler application from the phone group within profiles caused it to start working again. very strange.

Hi guys,
For the last few nightlies using the Cyanogenmod 7 my desire hd won't ring.
When a call is received then it just vibrates even though the ring volume to set high and the ringer is also turned on.
Can anyone help please as I could really do with this back.
I would have posted this in the development forum but login still prevents this.
Thanks
Paul

Something similar happened to my friend's SE Xperia Mini Pro, using CMmini nightly builds. Strange thing here is that it doesn't even vibrate. We've tried changing the default calling app, but it keeps coming through the one what shipped with the ROM.
How weird is that

Hey I recently flashed Mild Wild 4.2 on my HTC desire and it was working fine for a little while. Soon after recovering most of my apps + their data it seems unable to receive any calls. On their end it rings once then goes straight to voice mail and my phone does not respond. I can call others with no problems. I can receive texts but the phone doesn't make a noise, I'm not sure why. Also for some reason the lock screen inexplicably stopped working and when I wake it up it heads straight into the OS
I'm not very experienced with installing/troubleshooting custom ROMs and android phones in general so I'm wondering if anyone would please have any good ideas?
apps recovery
I did also used different rom and than tried to recover Facebook app on the MildWild 3.8 . From that moment i can not sync the facebook pictures with the
contacts in my phone. I assume that the recovery is not always working on new ROMs with the positive results . Sometimes it is better to install them from Market directly and let them sync than to install them on the phone with data.
I would recommend to you another fresh installation, and recovery of the apps one by one so you can see which one is doing the bordel .
I have been installing them from the market and recovering the data only. Still I suspect that is what is causing the problem..

Hi Nicholas,
I have exactly the same symptoms - both receiving calls + lock screen. Have you managed to fix it? If yes, how?
Thanks.
Hi guys
Can someone tell if they have problems with an incoming call ring delayed about 3 seconds and if they solved this one?
Thanks in advance!

Hi all,
I've got an issue; when trying to receive an incoming call on my WFS, the screen fails to wake and thus I fail to answer the call. I've searched a round for a solution, on XDA and on Google but none of them quite hit the nail on the head.
When my phone rings, I would normally simply pick up the phone and press answer, but now the power button doesn't wake the phone up and I ALWAYS miss the call. This is, understandably, getting very annoying.
Any help anyone can provide would be very helpful.
Cheers

It has been fixed, see the custom CM10 thread. I don't have this issue anymore.

Thanks for the feedback.
In the end, i cut my loses and upgraded to the most recent nightly. This solved the problem nicely
https://docs.google.com/folder/d/0BwExoAfriHU0eVowbHkyNFJKQnM/edit?pli=1
for all those who dosent want to change ROM go to settings>display>automatic backlite>screen dim level and change it to 1. hope fully it will remove your wakeup problem at low brightness.

Thanks for your reply, this issue resurfaced and I used your method and it seemed to work well.
Cheers again

The lag induced missed calls is a known issue with JB dialer. I use this alternate answering app:
Full Screen Caller ID PRO https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.androminigsm.fsci
I tested several others before settling on this. It works very well. Very rare glitches. Allows you to answer a call by pushing an onscreen button and is not resource hungry... It behaves very well, I've checked it often with wakelock detector. But remember, you have to take your time setting it up initially as you should with all apps of this nature.
