Already searched the thread for that question? If yes, write a PM to dev.
i did.but it seemed that my pm didn`t send to mildwild! because i can`t see my sent pm into the sent messages section! and if it sent i havent get the answer yet! sorry for my bad english. english isn`t my primary language!
I haven't used Mildwild but I've used the arc launcher and I bet it's built in the launcher itself and is not governed by the rom haptic feedback settings. Probably editing the arc launcher apk can disable the vibration. How? I don't have the slightest idea.
There is an app already in the rom called Spare Parts. There is an item Haptic feedback to untick. It might be the one.

This ain't gonna work. I have Spare Parts to disable haptic feedback on my phone and the arc launcher still vibrates. Its built in on the launcher itself probably and independently has access to the haptic controls

Can somebody please make an APK allowing installing the GB keyboard alongside the ICS one?
With all due respect- the ICS stock keyboard sucks. The GB stock keyboard was awesome!
Please help!!!
Just download it from the market.
EXT LTE Galaxy Nexus - 4.0.4
Asus Transformer - ICS
Actually, I extracted the LatinIME.APK from a CyanogenMod 7 file.
Then used Root Explorer to install it.
My fear is, and I have yet to check, that installing a new nightly (which I do whenever a new one become available) will reinstall the ICS keyboard over it.
Although I could go through the process of manually reinstalling the Gingerbread keyboard, I would much rather have a solution which doesn't require that.
https://market.android.com/search?q=gingerbread+keyboard&c=apps
This is the oddest problem I have ever heard.... what do you like more about the gingerbread keyboard?

Yeah I'd also like to know why you prefer the GB keyboard as opposed to the very similar but slightly better looking ICS keyboard?

First and foremost- swiping the space bar in order to switch between languages.
Excellent keyboard but that of gingerbread ics remains better in my opinion!
Updates:
Switched from the KANG version to the official nightly.
My workaround seemed to work on the KANG version, but doesn't on the official nightlies.
I agree that the ICS keyboard looks better.
I would very much appreciate it if anyone could create an APK for the ICS keyboard which allows swiping the space bar in order to switch languages.
I don't really know why this feature was dropped. Maybe I just don't know how to set it up. If you do- please educate me.
Thanks!
I have no idea why ics keyboard doesn't have the swipe keyboard support for changing language input. this is a step backwards for android.
You can toggle multiple language support in the keyboard settings,Then just long press the space bar

Duh...
I don't want to long press the space bar. I want to swipe it.

Well from your original post you did say swipe but you didn't make it clear that you were aware of the long press feature,I was just trying to be helpful & being rude or a smart ass isn't helpful nor does it earn you brownie points!!!
Besides,Swiping & long pressing aren't exactly day & night. It takes maybe a millisecond more to long press than to swipe.

I was neither rude nor a smart ass.
Just to be clear- long pressing the space bar isn't enough. You need to select the language too (yet another redundant press).
I don't know about day and night, but for me the difference is noticeable.
I'm still looking for a better solution than my current one. Would very much appreciate help, wherever and whoever it comes from.

Right on,Maybe I took it the wrong way.Yeah that's true,It's definitely not ideal. What about a ICS themed GB keyboard,That way you will have the functionality you seek while maintaining the ICS look? If that sounds good I could do that for you.

That sounds awesome, but I wouldn't ask that of you.
I'm thinking of requesting the swipe functionality from the guys at work on CM9. I'm pretty sure they can handle it.
Thanks for your help anyway. It is indeed much appreciated.
Oh no....u have to take an extra second to do something! Better go tell Google to stop ics updates...

Language support aside, I find ICS keyboard to be 10x better in every department when compared to the GB keyboard.

Last time I checked the guys working on CM9 aren't Google employees.
Although, even if they were, I just wrote I was thinking of requesting it. Requesting. Not demanding. Just requesting.
Thanks anyway!

is there a possibility to mod ICS keyboard and bring back the feature of swiping space bar/switch between input languages that way.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I got a question about enabling on screen buttons in OpenSEMC 0.5 running android 4.2.2, what is btw one of the best ROMS I've ever seen.
On AOKP 4.1.2 the option was integrated but the dev of this Rom haven't included it yet, so I need another way to get my loved on screen buttons.

Thanks.
I gonna try it.
App-Choose
OK,
I tried it and works fine.
But am I wrong or are the buttons bigger than on a Nexus 4 or Galaxy Nexus?
I think they are a little big too big
Another thing maybe somebody could help me with.
I have Google Now and Alicoid (like Siri but on Android) and with the latest version of Alicoid, you're able to put the App into I call it "long-home-button-press-menu" (idk how to call it. I'm German )
But in my case (idk if anybody else noticed that yet because Alicoid is not such a famous app) there is only a Search button (like in 1st Screenshot)
And after I selected that search-button the normal app-chose menu pops up (2nd screenshot) and let me choice between Gnow and Alicoid.
Maybe sb can say me if there is any possibility to get rid of this app-choser and to have both apps in the "long-home-button-press-menu".
I know my discription is a little cofusing put i hope somebody knows what i mean
Thanks!
EDIT: Screenshots added!

anyways, @ngundu did you try repairing with PCC? or if you have, did you try full wipe before reflashing stock? how about reflashing stock ICS then upgrading again to JB?

I did a full wipe and then reflashed it but it did not work. I took to service center and they said it was display issue. Its still under warranty so i gave it for a repair. Thanks for your help. Appreciated.
Hello everyone,
I would like to know how is it possible to add a software key down of the screen of my phone? Not personalize, but add a soft key for turn the screen off like on the capture attached.
I know that the ROM used on this screen capture is Flash Liquid Smooth, but I want to keep my Sense UI!
Thanks in advance
Nobody knows?
I think it can be done with xposed modules, I recall a video on youtube that discussed it. Might want to search on youtube for it.
I'm at work now so I can't do the searching on youtube(Damn filters) . If I recall correctly, I think it might have been Armando Ferreira that discussed it, though I'm not 100% sure.
Yes, I've already seen this, it's that kind of module that I need, but this one (Xposed GEL) doesn't match at my needs because it's for the stock launcher and it replaces the back button while I would like to add a button!

That's a good module although there is a constant consumption of RAM.
I'll try this and if someone has another solution, say it please!
I'm pretty sure there's an app on the playstore called softkeyz that'll do what you're looking for.

Yes, it's a great app, but it's only to replace the icon of the soft key and not to add one.
Take a look at this app please: [APP][4.0+]Ultimate Dynamic Navbar
Should do the trick for you.
Or if you don't use Google now, check this trick, which i also use to make my sceen off.
