[Q] Trouble with BT A2DP connection, how to solve? - Samsung Epic 4G Touch

I've had troubles with my phone disconnecting and the reconnecting to my A2DP speaker repeatedly while streaming audio. It never behaved that way with my Moto Droid X.
So I have to reconnect the speaker in the bluetooth configuration menu once disconnection.
ROM is Calkulin's 2.80

Try a different kernel or different ROM, or maybe different modem. I have no issues on stock rooted EL29 ROM, El29 modem, and Rogue 1.4.0 kernel/CWM recovery (not touch recovery, stay away from that one). I have 3 bluetooth devices, one in the car, 1 at home connected to my AVR, and a set of headphones, and audio streaming is perfect.

[Q] [Q} Bluetooth Audio Error

I have had a problem with my Epic since DI18. It was also on DK28 custom Roms, EB13, and NOW Stock EC05 ODIN flash from google direct link....
Here's my issue and I would like to know if anyone can reproduce....It might actually be possible that it is my phone.
I have a 2010 Hyundai Tucson. When I pair with the car, both phone and media audio play perfectly. When I leave the car and the connection is broken, the audio driver apparently becomes corrupt.
All the audio (phone, alarm, media, etc) gets routed through the earpiece and not through the speaker.
There is a constant subtle "click" from the earpiece as well.
The only solution is a soft reset and it fixes it until the next time.....
Any ideas?

[Q] Synergy RLS1 Bluetooth issue

Well, after finally being able to root my GB EVO on Sunday after Revolutionary.io updated their supported devices (BIG thanks to those devs by the way), my rom of choice was Synergy, because I liked what it offered as well as I wanted Sense (Rosie) 3.0. I installed RLS1 (not Godmode) and everything set up fine.
The issue happened when I tried to pair my phone with my car (worked flawlessly on stock), and it pairs (headset sharing phone and media), but when it goes to sync the contacts, the evo drops down to simply (shares media) and ultimately disconnects (headphone disconnects).
I spent about an hour trying to get it to work, pairing, unpairing, deleting the phone from the car, trying it while the car is on aux power and with the engine on, everything. So, is there an issue with Synergy and bluetooth? If there is, is there a fix for it, or should I just either wait for Syngery to come out with a new release or try a different rom?
I have the same issue almost. I connected a bluetooth keyboard, pairs successfully but says "paired but not connected". I click on it to connect, but it does not do anything. I will try my headset later tonight.

[Q] Bluetooth on el29 vs fc07 question

When I connect my phone on el29 via Bluetooth with my car stereo I have no issues swapping back and forth from music to phone calls. An issue that I have encountered with fc07 is that I can only choose one or the other and there is a lag between connecting to radio and phone calls. For example on fc07 I am listening to Pandora and my phone rings and I answer no problem with Bluetooth. Once I hang up the call Pandora begins to play through my phone before it reconnects back to the car stereo. On el29 I don’t have this issue so when the call ends Pandora will start back up on Bluetooth right away. I am not sure if this is a bug or if ICS just separates the Bluetooth connections unlike GB which seems to migrate the two functions. I know in pervious build of ICS Bluetooth has some issues but I have not been able to pinpoint this as an issue. I am running Phantom Hacker 4.0 el29 and ran Calkulin’s 1.1 ICS. Any ideas on this?

How to use A2DP in Galaxy Nexus?

I just bought a bluetooth headset (plantronics M50, bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP), the phone call is OK, but when I play video, music, the speaker of phone is on, the headset not work, need additional setup? need addtional apps? how?
You shouldn't need any additional apps. When your phone connects it should connect with two "profiles", one for the phone and one for the audio (A2DP).
In the manual for your headset, does it tell you that you need to switch to a certain mode to hear a2dp audio?
solved, just reboot the phone, and you can chose phone audio or media audio in bluetooth setting interface.
I need bluetooth help please

(NOTE - I WOULD START A NEW TOPIC, BUT CANNOT AS I DONT HAVE ENOUGH COMMENTS TO DO SO).......
Just got a new car (Mercedes Benz GL450), and trying to pair my GN to the bluetooth functionality of the car. First off - the car doesnt even support Bluetooth audio, which was a major disappointment, but it has an ipod dock (yes, it is a 2012 $80,000 truck that doesnt have a usb, or basic features that a freeking $15,000 hyundai). Either way, I can connect my GN to the bluetooth phone feature no problem, it pairs, and automatically connects with no issues. I bought a coolstream A2DP bluetooth receiver (http://www.amazon.com/CoolStream-Bluetooth-Receiver-Speakers-docking/dp/B008EL58YA) to plug into the ipod dock. The GN sees it, i try to pair, enter the password, and it wont connect to it. I have read forums all over the internet about how the GN Bluetooth has many issues - does anyone have a solution??
I read here (http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=24012) that i should toggle airplane mode, switch bluetooth on/off, reboot phone, and bluetooth receiver, etc.... it all doesnt work. Tried A2DP Volume - not the issue, it just wont pair after i enter the password.
I am currently rooted on 4.1.1 XenonHD ROM with Franco Kernal, have tried it with 4.1.1 Vicious Jellybean/Faux Kernal as well - no luck.
Going to try it with 4.1.1 AXI0M ROM, and see what happens..................
Has anyone else run into this issue on any other ROM, that can suggest a fix - note - I am good with flashing roms, kernals, mods, etc....but if you ask me to code, i am clueless.
Thanks to anyone that can help
2008 GL450, only old **s 30 pin Sh*t
Tried many sorts to work with steaming...no go so far.
Pre-historic technology was specially installed on GL's....so to leech out more from customers..MB sucks.
Please let me know if you figured something out mean while.

Bluetooth Short Distance

Hello all.
Have an AT&T Note 2 running Sky Note Air rom with AGNi kernel.
The problem I am experiencing is that the bluetooth distance is very very short. For example, I have a bluetooth radio in my car and only works correctly when I set the phone right next to the radio. If I take it more than a foot away it starts cutting out and stuttering. I have tried many different radios and bluetooth audio devices with the same results. Phone calls via bluetooth also acts the same.
Have researched my fingers to the bone, tried various ROMS and kernels with no luck. The bluetooth did work correctly back in the 4.1 days of Android.
Are there any configurations I could possibly make to change the amount of power the bluetooth receives to maybe increase range(if it works that way)? Or is my bluetooth hardware has possibly gone bad.
Thanks in advance!
