It is live and supported. Touch recovery will not happen from koush. He will not support mdpi devices, but I know someone else that will. And that will be coming shortly
I got it. Heck yeah touch recovery.
Already done backup
Seems a little glitchy. When using go back option sometimes just shows cwm emblem. Had to pull battery. I'm impatient. Think I waited long enough.

He was saying that to my comment about one in the works. But I do have a completely unsupported touch recovery by koush if people want it. It is sized in ldpi so its huge on the screen. My opinion it looks like crap.

yes, but it is oversized. He will not support it or anything else. I didn't know he actually posted it. I was just about to post the same version. Also, ADB is broken in recovery with that.

ive noticed when i try to reboot with adb it will reboot into recovery. If i wanted that I would of typed adb reboot recovery this a feature or a bug. Also when I turn on USB Mass Storage, it will corrupt what i send over, leading me back to adb. I basically use adb for everything but selecting the zip on recovery, no matter how good. Great work on it Jmz, its a pretty solid recovery, touch buttons work, and the kernel inside is also a great aosp kernel. Actually starts off overclocked, if im correct.

Classic Clockworkmod recovery
Touch Clockworkmod recovery
TWRP (RZrecovery)

INSTRUCTIONS:
(Must be Rooted, bootloader unlocked with drivers installed.)
1. On PC, download the zip file from
(1/31/12)
http://www.mediafire.com/?3v66vx2t777q56z

I put all those lines of code in a batch file, included 3 recoveries, adb and fastboot all in one place . One click is easier than typing out all that code and may be more simple for newer or less experienced users. I hope I've answered your question.

I'm not sure how you would flash a different recovery from recovery mode as you need to do that from fastboot. If all you want is classic Clockworkmod recovery than you don't need these switchers. I've made batch files for the new touch version of CWM and RZ recovery, as well as the classic CWM recovery.

Not sure how it happened...well I do know....Flashed offical CWM for ROM Manager, but didnt think it took because it said I need a CWM compatible kernel. And then i used E4gtauto to add CWM-rogue because i didnt think I had it....so today when i booted into recovery from ROM toolbox, it went to CWM, did a nand and rebooted, but it booted into Rogue...? How can I get rid of one of them?
The nand you restored had a kernel with rogue on it. You should only have rogue on there now.
And I don't know if others feel this way, but I always only use the built in reboot menu or volume and power buttons(from off state) to go into recoveries and download mode, reduces issues

Just had a thought. It's easy to get stuck on boot when you flash back to stock without wiping.
If you can wipe it/factory reset that could solve you're problem.
And it'll boot up.
It's confusing cause it looks a lot like your phone not booting cause of the kernel
Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda premium
Yeah just take the battery out and get into android recovery by pressing volume up, power, and home button. Then wipe/factory reset and reboot system.
^^^^ just like the gentleman said. Reboot into recovery and factory reset it. It should boot up after that.

Sent from my HTC Ruby using xda app-developers app
If you can get into download mode, reflash the stock tar in Odin again or just flash the cwm or trwp recovery tar and reflash a different kernel
Sent from my SGH-T999
Here is a link to Odin-able recoveries that you can use. I also agree with the others that this is probably a mismatched ROM/Kernel that is preventing you from booting up. The only problem I foresee is that you Odin'd a stock image, so now you are not on CM10 anymore. Now you'll have to find a TW kernel that you can flash, like Morfic's or I think Ktoonez has one too. But you can ADB push the kernel to your SDcard so that when you flash the recovery above, you should be able to then go in and find your kernel and flash that.
What I suggest first is to Odin one of the recoveries (TWRP is what I use) and then once that is done, go in and Factory Reset and try to boot it up. If it works, great. If not, then you may need to move on to pushing a kernel and flashing that.
Volume up + Home + Power takes you to Recovery.
Have you tried that?

Lemme explain what happened. I
backed up my ROM in ROM manager.
So I installed newest cwr touch, placed the files on the SD card like always, I booted into recovery, factory reset data/cache...etc. I went to " install from zip" it's empty. I went to back ups, nothing. Do I was stuck in recovery. Put phone into bootloader (Im drawing a blank on what it's called), installed newest TWRP, booted into recovery. It found the zip, installed it and all was good. But now I wanna go back to my previous ROM to do titanium backup. I bought a jetpack joyride perk and when I installed it on the new ROM its saying I have to buy it. Do I was gonna restore data on it. Problem is, cwr won't recognize my backups.
Thanks in advance.

I don't want to sound like a jerk when I say this... But if something is at least somewhat important to you, it would probably be a good idea to back it up on your computer or whatever. It'd better safe than sorry, plus it's really easy to backup the entire SD with:
$adb pull /sdcard /backup-folder-on-computer
^ Linux command, windows will have a different path

I avoid cmd and Linux command if possible. And it's not gone, it's just placed somewhere else. A Nandroid is all I need usually.

You probably need to use the sbl unlock in FreeGee's menu. Or teeny bins with LGNPST.

So when you install roms, are you wiping /system, /data, /cache, and / dalvic?
If you're using TWRP 2.6.3.0, go to wipe, factory reset, then advanced and tick everything but internal storage. Then install a rom.
If you're still having issues, then in TWRP, wipe everything. Including internal storage. Make sure you backup your files. You will lose everything. Also make sure you have a rom to install or restore in TWRP. If you don't, you'll learn to adb sideload.
If this doesnt work, then LGNPST, or LGFlashTool.
