i think weather bug in the market does this. i think..
Try Fancy Widget, Beautiful Widgets, or BE Weather
GO Weather does this as well. Although I didn't see a way to change the color (orange), where I know Beautiful Widgets and Weather Bug both let you customize colors.
I have Beautiful widgets, and it has that option, but I never use it lol (I like my notification bar to have as less things as possible).
Wunderground and WeatherBug have this feature.

NO, it requires the sense framework. However i know of a sense 4 clock that looks very similar that does work. Its an apk someone has built but its very realistic looking. Sense 4 Clock Widget
Dude, the clock app not the weather widget.

I didn't link you the weather widget idiot. That's the sense clock widget. The one you extracted no its not going to work. What did you expect?
You took it from another phone not just another touchwiz phone a whole different proprietary overlay. Which requires its resources to run.

Ok. Let me go this way. When u open the app drawer on a HTC phone there's an app called Clock, that has the pic of a watch. This is almost like a nightstand clock. It also has other things. It's not a widget. That's what Im looking for. Have u come accross it?

The clock app in HTC sense is called clockwidget.apk....Most apps are VERY hard to port because HTC has a file system where most of the apps are dependent on HTC framework. That would mean you would have to reverse develop the sense rom which has had little luck so far..
why you see just the widget and not the clock in the app drawer is because the clockwidget.apk tells the HTC system framework for it to be there. But it will not show because fw is MIA.

Alarm clock plus has a "desk clock" mode, plus other functions like math or puzzle wake, weather, etc...

Would be cool to see moving sun rays or rain falling from a weather widget.
I'm curious about this too...
My HTC One X had an awesome weather widget... one of the many things I miss about that phone.
Bump.
I want to know this too

Beautiful widgets has animation. Pretty nice might be what your looking for.

Beautiful Widgets has animated weather when you tap on the widget. What I think the OP wants is the actual home screen widget to be animated.

Bingo.
Sent from the future.
Beautiful Widgets also has an animated wallpaper that changes with the weather and time of day. Battery friendly too. For the weather (or clock) you can select from hundreds of themes.

Anyone mind sharing your weather widgets or know a nice wv post here cause the 1 that comes with TW is a shame takes up to much ram and rewrites and lags up the launcher by just scrolling. Deactivate it and its parts and your phone is going much snappier.

+1 for Android Weather. Just dled it last night but its the best weather widget I've ever used. I like how yo can open your calendar and clock app from the widget. Thanks for the heads up in this.
I use WeatherLove (Free on Market) , customisable , gps based (can be disabled) , transparency capable ... Have a try
HD Weather Widgets. Very customizable. It's foggy at the moment (you can see a cloud in the middle, under the clock). Background is set to Transparent.
Beautiful widgets.
It doesn't consume so much RAM or processor power.

Eye in the sky. Good widget. Lots of options within.

+1 love that widget you can customize it to how you like..
Hello,
Does anyone know if there is a way to change the shortcut for the default S3 weather widget? Instead of it directing you to Accuweather, I would prefer that it opens up Weatherbug.
Why don't you just place the weather bug widget on your screen instead of the stock one?

Thanks ... I would use the weather bug widget, but it doesn't have the clock built in. I also considered using Fancy Widgets which is similar to the HTC interface ... I just liked the way the stock one looked and was hoping there was a way.

Yeah would be nice also if you touched the clock it would take you to your alarm or other alarm app and when you touch the weather it would open whatever weather app you wanted. One thing i miss about HTC is there widgets nothing else compared IMO
Hd Widgets isn't like the stock clock widget but it's highly customizable and 2 set ups look like the sense clocks. From the original evo is one and the other is from the new Evo 4G lte
Also weather services include accuweather, weather bug, and weather underground. I've made posts about changing the provider on the stock clocks and usually don't get a reply saying someone knows how so I just use a 3rd party one
thanks look good keep up great work
Thanks for the follow up ... I am going to check out HD Widgets ... it looks similar to the version included on the EVO
I use it and love it. You will not be disappointed.
I am using it now and agree ... very very cool!!
I'm new but not really new to xda. Was wondering if any of the brilliant minds are working on making the stock JVB weather widget transparent or other options like fancy widgets does. Tried using the fancy widgets app but dosent work well on my phone since jumping from OGEVO to LGOG. Thanks in advance. And great work guys.
Beautiful Widgets is my go to for weather widgets. Thousands of themes to choose from.

Another suggestion is the WeatherBug app. The widgets it comes with are nice. They can be clear too.
I usually just stick my head out of the window while driving.
Admittedly, this does not forecast the weather for me all that well, but I'm a live in the moment kind of guy.
In all seriousness though, Eye In The Sky has been my favorite weather widget to date.
