depends on which gnex you have. i think the gsm versions are available in the ubuntu touch website. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Touch/Install
if you have the toro or toroplus (cdma) we have to wait for some good soul to port them.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I saw on their page that nothing telephony related is really working right now, which kind of kills any chance of using the phone as a phone for daily use. Since I've switched to the HTC One though, I'm seriously looking into this (since obviously the radios aren't of much use to me at present).

Not true. A lot of things (calling, 3g, wifi, texting, skype) do work at this moment. Take a look at this video!

Is this ready to flash?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
You can already flash it through (custom) recovery since the first released version, no need for linux.
Please look for instruction in Ubuntu Touch forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2069

First flash the <something>-maguro.zip and then the <something>phablet<something>.zip
Again, please look at the forum link I gave you as it has exactly these instructions you are asking.
Also if you care about your data, please make a backup.

it doesnt wipe sd card
i tried it yesterday and it didn't wiped my sd card but if u want to comeback to android it totally wipes....if u directly flash your recovery file while in Ubuntu u can see ur sd card stuffs but: the partition differs and ui lags heavily....trust me don't try it u'll come back to android within minutes...wait for full version

agree. I tried a few times because I got curious and can't wait to see.
The first time is when It's just launched. And I got disappointed, and realize that it's just a developer preview.
Then in a few months, I try again but nothing looks changed (as a user) and I switch back to Android instantly.
Then they said it'll be usable as a daily driver by the end of May. I tried a week ago, but no luck. Still buggy, and I can't say it could be used as a daily driver.
Let's wait until it's 'finished'.
really missing the multitasking button in ubuntu
certainly ubuntu will come up much better but i badly miss the multitasking button in ubuntu hope they have a btter idea...

I'm still stuck on a pretty old Pacman 4.2.2 build and I wanna know what's a good up to date ROM either 4.2.2 or higher and doesn't randomly reboot all the time
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda app-developers app
CM10.1.2 is good enough for me in terms of stability, while CM10.2 is stable enough but has small kinks to be ironed. Also try 4.3 PACman yourself.(I found customizing it too painful), but I think I saw people said that recent nightlies are problematic.

Well CM10.1 and 10.2 sees my 8GB and 16GB cards. Are you sure a card of this capacity is hardware-wise supported by our Glide? (Does the stock GB/ICS ROM support it?)

Hello guys, I live in Brazil and my English is very bad, but I would like to know one thing ... In Optimus G, the internal memory is a placeholder for applications as in the Galaxy SII? Where space to install apps is only 2 GB ...? Thx
Don't think so, newer phones with 4.1 doesn't do that

Hello,
I am using xperia zl 4.1.2, rooted since few months, I want to give away this mobile for replacement for ir issue, I am planning to buy 64 gb card, can anyone help me if 4.1.2 supports that? Read in the change log of 4.2.2 that support for 64gb is added, but many claim otherwise. I dont want to update because rooting for 4.2/4.3 requires flashing (doomlord/nuts etc) which I dont want to risk now and I require root access for few important things. Thanks in advance.
4.2.2+ firmware support SDXC
Its your choice whether you want to upgrade or not
