I would really love to use SuperNote on my Kindle Fire, but it is designed for ASUS tablets only.
I have the apk but since it is for 10'' screens it doesn't fit in the Kindle Fire, is there any chance to port this app for the resolution of the Fire?
Thank you!
Handrite Pro is a very good handwriting app that works on Kindle Fire. Checkout a review here (http://bit.ly/y5asjn). Maybe you can use it until you can find an answer for SuperNote.
Change your DPI to 120 and this works fantastic. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah but I hear its a little cutoff. Changing the DPI does seem to fix it though.

God damnit! Read post nr 3!
Hi, Can you show me how to change DPI. I'm new in Kindle Fire
Thanks
its 120dpi!
What app are you using to chage it? Or do you direct modify the build.prob?
//i used LCD Density Modder Pro to turn dpi to 120. and i did install supernote 1.4 on the stock rom, but i got force closed when i start the app.
///Ah, think its needs android 3+ right ? So i have to flash cm9

Hi all, after some help please.
I am running the most recent cm7 build to which I change the build.prop dpi setting to 200 as I prefer the look of it, however on other Rom's I have had all programs working correctly at the new dpi but now I can't?
The two that I am currently having problems with are current widget and powertutor. I know the current widget has worked at a dpi of 200 in the past so why not now?
I have had a look around the system to see if I could edit any system files to the app's to display fullscreen but am not having any luck. Does anyone know why or how to get the programs to display fullscreen?
Cheers go advance,
Blinky

I can confirm that current widget is working flawlessly running at dpi 200.. Even 160 works, but that the menus highlight is messed up.. Try disabling compatiblity mode in spare part.
I'm running cm7 pnk22..
Worked a treat, will have to remember that one, thanks a lot mate

I just flashed my Galaxy Nexus with the Parandroid 3+ Rom. Then I used the LCD Density application to change the phone's screen resolution. View attachment 1872732
The row after the bottom row of the icons is a place where I can't place any icons. Any application to get this done? Please let me know! Thanks.
Why would you use an app to do something that is built into the ROM?

Use a custom launcher and change screen grid size.

Dude, the least you could have done is use the features built into the ROM, doesnt take a rocket scientist to go through the options, or read the thread, or read the FAQ on it.....

Paranoid Android does not have any such feature. I know that Trebuchet launcher on the other hand does but the latest version of the ROM does not have this launcher. There is no such application I've come across yet, or any such feature in the rom, that let's me do this. So please, let me know what I have to do to get this done and then you can mock me all you want. Also, a problem I have faced is, I didn't know what to search for. No idea what that space is called.
Thanks

Use Apex Launcher or Nova Launcher.
Also if you want the Trebuchet launcher, just download it from the the Theme and Apps section. Change the grid size to a 7rowsx6columns. That should help.
I use Apex Pro. Or use a non grid launcher like TSF shell or ssLauncher.

Launcher settings have nothing to do with 'resolution'. That's what I was talking about
Use ANY other launcher and you will fix the spacing issue.

I recently finally switched over to jelly bean from gingerbread. I used to use lcd modder pro to change my LCD density to 200 giving me the perfect screen resolution. I tried using it on JB and all it did was give me a soft brick making me reinstall everything. Is there something that works well with JB now to do the same thing? Also I would need to fix the problem with market incompability (LCD Modder fixed this inherently).
Thanks for any tips.

Yes, RTP sites a good job changing dpi. What you'll find, however cc is that some apps don't adjust properly, ie dialer, mail. For this I use the per app dpi changer. Great app found on here at XDA.

I've been using the xposed App settings to change/reduce the DPI of programs, and that works pretty well.

I haven't messed with the launcher - I use NovaLauncher.
I mainly use it for apps, like facebook or the xda app.

Hello,
I have a note 10.1 and am looking to replace it with the 2014 edition, the issue I have is I have some work software on my note that only supports the old display resolution 1280*800 from memory.
Could someone here try the resolution change on the 2014 edition of the note and let me know how the device and touchwiz performs? I am hopeful my work software will be updated at some point to support newer display Resolutions but am after a new tablet in the next week or so.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2404783
Link describes how the change should work.
Thanks for any help on this,
Andy
I Dont know if this will work but it might be worth a shot:
Download Xposed framework together with App Settings. From App Settings all you have to do is change Resolution/DPI on those Apps.

Thanks guys. Has anyone tried any of these apps on the tab 2014 to see how it runs with the old note 10.1 resolution? Can. Just adjust the resolution for my specific enterprise apps?
