Is there a simple way or a not to complex way to hide or delete the little clock in the status bar? I dont need this clock cause i use the big sense flip clock on my home screen & would rather hide or delete this if this is possible cause i dont see the sense in having two clocks on the same screen, in the past i have changed the clock & status bar to pure black but i would rather just find another way cause there would be a black space in my bar when i do this. I have searched google & xda for a solution & i know some people make this option in there tweeks & also can modify certain files within system ui but i would like to find a tutorial perfebly a noob tutorial on this mod for the Desire Hd & compatible with the LeeDrOID rom.
Thanks in advance to the xda members & thanks for reading this post
No Lee Didnt add this mod to his tweaks yet maybe he will in the next update Man

Hello peeps. Can someone help me create or link me to a completely transparent top bar? coming from winmo it was pretty simple to create but I've yet to get my head round Android!
I've been looking at a recent theme by brightsilence which i really like to try and work out what needs to change but for the life of me can't work it out.
If I can work out the top bar then there's loads more I'd like to make completely transparent such as the flip clock surround.
Cheers

Hi,
Is there any ROM or App which has the function to add GPS/Wifi/Mobile Data/Profile Toggles (on/off) into the top status bar of the HTC desire?
Basically, I have these four toggles as 1x1 icons as I use them alot, but they take up alot of real estate, and I think I have seen somewhere examples of these toggles in the top bar, when you drag it down.
Any ideas of what ROM/App offers this would be most appreciated.
Cheers
Rob
Oxygen has it, cyanogenmod also has it i think and most Sense roms(not hd) have a flashable zip, depending on framework version, to add it.

Many thanks for the reply.
I'm looking at Defrost -- any idea if that has it?
And also, if I stick with sense roms, what/where could I find this flashable zip for it?
Thanks again
Not sure but I assume defrost also has it. For the sense add on look in the theme and app section. Should be called something like: mod notification menu power control for sense roms.

NEED some help..
I got this desire, flashed on cm7 from crackflashers: s-off+cm7 patch
i decited to change some icons, but i can't do it
i've read some threads @ xda but didnt find and solution
I've used bettercut, but that is some of a wack ass app, i want to change mulitple icons not one-by-one
i want icons like the iphone has it with some background kinda like the miui
please help me out..
yes my english is bad..
Ok well there are several ways to change icons (some ROMs i believe even come with the standard sense apps icons already changed) the problem with a batch change is that the app would have to figure out which program to apply which icon to . You have much more freedom changing one icon at a time IMO
Hey,
i was searching for some simple statusbar mods as flashable zips
like center clock or change color of clock
or different battery mods for AOSP.
is someone working on something like this or can guide me where to change something in System UI ?
thanks in advace
You can get a custom ROM like Xylon or Codefire which has settings and themes to do this
i don't want any rom. i tested nearly every rom and stock rom is the best so far.
i just want to mod little things.. like i said center clock and some stuff like that
Here is a link for some battery icon mods:

I would suggest using an app for different clocks. Lots of them in the play store.
would like to see a app that can do this to. changing or hiding the clock and alarm symbol. hope someone can make this
Hello everyone,
I'm trying to modify the background of the sense 5 weather clock (the one that flips with the weather juuuust below it) not to make it transparent like everybody else is doing. I'm trying to theme it to go with a modified app drawer image and navigation bar image. The problem is I don't know which files to edit in order to do that. Could anyone here give me some advice or pointers?
Yes I have searched for a guide or tut to do it but all I find is people supplying one they made or pointing at a thread that has them already made. I would like to do this myself though.
Thanks in advance for any help
Have you heard of sense 5 toolbox? You can set transparency of many items...

Where is that image? I took a look inside of the prism apk but found nothing by that name.
But for everyone else reading, I'm not looking for transparency, I'm trying to overlay another image over, thus changing how the panel looks.

Are you talking about the panel where the weather condition is ?
That is common_panel.9.png in com.htc.resources.apk/res/drawable-xhdpi
Changing this will affect the widgets background too
Thats the one!!!

YES THAT'S THE ONE!
Just in case I added a screenshot, I circled the panel jsu so that everyone knows what I'm talking about. I found that common_panel.9.png but it's basically just a circle?
What I want to do is make that panel look like the navbar you see in the image I attached, if it's just a circle then it might not work or be possible.
Nobody have any ideas?
Does nobody here have any ideas on how to achieve this?

In both Sense 5 and Sense 5.5, the png is indeed found in the resources apk. It is the common_panel.9.png and it can be themed but only basically. The best you can do with it is make it with a border either transparent or semi. However, depending on how skilled you are with editing xml, you could put a custom PNG in the drawable folder and edit the layouts to navigate to that specific image. That way your newly themed image will be used and not the common_panel.9.png. If you look at my theming thread from Sense 5.5, you'll see what I mean.
