[Q] Bricked phone

So I managed to brick my phone and I know to unbrick it that I'd need to get into download mode and use odin, but I can't even get in to download mode. When I try, the blue led light comes on and stays on, then turns off for about a second, and then it comes back on. Is there another way to get into download mode? Any suggestions?
you can do it through adb
Guide or instructions?

Right when I modded the kernel to allow root, it gave me odd problems when the device was powering on. hold Power + Vol Down for about 15seconds until you get the screen to power on. If that doesn't work then you must've erased the bootloader.
If I erased the bootloader, what would I need to do?

A jig will work also. The one I used previously with my Captivate worked just fine and makes it simple.
intresting
I found the jig online and i tried it, bit i had the same result of only the blue led coming on. I tried plugging it up to the computer after doing the jig and it still didnt work.

[Q] stuck on battery logo when rebooting when its charging?

I have a problem because everytime when my phone is on charge (doesnt matter if its USB cable or wall socket) and Im rebooting it (power -> switch off - > and power it again) the system will not boot up. It will just stay on black screen with battery logo. I never checked if its a problem with stock ICS or Revolution MOD. Anyone else have such a problem?

I have the same problem, it's annoying to have to remove the battery just to turn it back on.
I think most phones do that, on my Optimus 2x i can boot it by using the power button again.
Power button is not working. Can someone confirm if its a stock ICS issue or because our phones are rooted

Dude Android has nothing to say about a pre-boot enviroment like the charger.
Have it here as well. Have pulled the battery both times I have done it so far.

Same problem here. I have tried both Android Revolution and a stock F build.
It sounds like it might be something to do with the bootloader unlock process?
EDIT: Flashed Paul's ir3 release and ClockworkMod again and it's charging fine now. Very strange.

Any solution to this? besides being damn sure your phone isn't plugged into anything when rebooting?

[Q] Fastboot Broken. Can't get into Anymore!

Has anyone seen this before? I'm going into the Fastboot mode on my Xperia Play, and the blue light comes on, comes on for only about 5 seconds, then disappears and then my DoomKernel loads.
I even tried to reboot directly into the Fastboot mode using the DoomKernel, and the blue light came on, then went off, really fast, only about a second.
Why would it stop working like this?
I want to try ICS but I can't get into fastboot!
Any help or ideas would be very appreciated
Thank you!

Try using another USB port or cable if you haven't already.

I will try that and let you know

I've tried it with a different USB cable and a different port and it is STILL doing the same thing. Its like it will only stay in flashboot mode as long as I hold the search button, as soon as I let go, the blue light disappears and my DoomKernel boots up. It won't stay in the mode.
Looks like I was able to get it resolved, it was a driver issue.
ICS yay!
Thanks again everyone!

Ultra sleep of death, nexus wont go into bootloader, fastboot, won't recognize usb

My nexus has something similar to the sleep of death issue but far worse, the moment i stop using the phone and the screen turns itself off the phone shuts down, if i plug it to my computer it shut downs abruptly too, if i try to turn it on with the charger plugged in it wont turn o.
I manually deleted the batterystats thinking they could be messed up, no luck, i did a factory reset , no luck, i flashed jellybean thinking it would wipe the whole os still didnt work , i cant get into bootloader as soon as i stop pressing volume up + volume down+power it shuts off, i cant get into recovery , as soon as it enters it it shuts down.
I wanted to flash superwipe.zip tro erase possible corrupt data but without being able to enter fastboot or recovery i cant root or do anything :crying:
It happened a couple of days ago, i installed light flow 3 and switftkey 3 and battery was low , i fell sleep when i woke up phone was off and it wouldnt charge, i left it plugged to the power outlet for a couple of hours i came back it didnt turn on, i removed the charger and it turned on , im using my phone right now because i download wake lock from the market and set it to never let the phone sleep :crying:
I read that light flow caused some screen of death issues but like i said i flashed jellybean so all apps were erased. I dont know what to do

Xperia S Sudden Death!!

Recently I again unlocked my bootloader, installed an advanced stock kernel, than thorugh the same kernel i installed the Doomlords kernel. (battery was about 50%)
after installation phone automatically booted to CWM, i simply rebooted it.
then it got stuck for about a minute at the boot logo (DOOMLORDS) after that it switched off.
tried to start it again, it didnt.
tried to reset it via power and volume Up still failed to..
I thought may be its stuck, removed battery for while and installed again.. still nothing happened..
PC doesnt detect it
Afterwards i put it on up a wall charger, for its 3-4 hours no LED but suddenly after that it gave me a orange light, i thought may be it will be ok now .. tried to start gain but failed....
put again on a wall charger for a day still orange light.. PC still not detecting it... cant turn it on or hard reset..
Please any suggestions..
Does it show anything at all or is it blank
if not
hold a rubberband holding power and volume up for about 10-60mins
and try flashing something via flashtool
