Having just updated to build 26 I have discovered that my YouTube app has been misplaced. Does anyone have the apk, or a solution to this?
Market?

I'd upload it for you but my tapatalk doesn't let me upload non picture files...
Do you see an apk in your System/App folder? That's where I was getting mine from

Youtube was removed from the Google Apps package as it is now available in the Market.
I don't have it there. Would reflashing gapps work?
Isn't it easier just go to
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.google.android.youtube
and dl

I know a lot of people like myself were looking for this. Found it in the S2 forums...

It's awfully laggy though. Practically useless if I'm honest. Apparently it lags on all phones, including Sony.
It probably just needs an increase in fps.

Damn it....way too laggy! Thanks tho! Does anyone know how to change the fps?

I can even install. I'll download it and place it in /system/app and hit install and it always says replace system application? Then install failed.

Once you place it in /system/app. You do not need to install. Just set correct permissions, reboot, and it should work.

Got it, had to set permissions. Ya super laggy. Looks good. Just wish we could get a good working port. Thanks for the work tho!

Hello everyone, does anyone have a backup or a cwm Flashable zip for the default pdf, doc, etc etc viewer? It sucks how some roms have it and some don't. Wish the devs would make a separate Flashable zip for those who still want a it.
Thanks in advance!

Bump =)

Here. ThinkFree actually provides the app to view documents. Try to install this like a regular APK, maybe it will work, I don't know. If that doesn't work try copying it into /system/app and set permissions to -rw-r--r--.
Thanks a lot bro! I actually searched all over the place and was not able to find it. Don't tell me it's on the play store... I figured that was the old one and didn't bother downloading it

I'm currently on AOKP, as my sig shows, and I just looked for it in my /system/app and copied it out. You're welcome!
The New Play Store update was released today and it adds jellybean notifications and is a lot quicker then before and includes wish list support. Full change log at the link below.

I guess you would rename it as the same name of your original market.apk and copy over and reboot
(dont forget to set the right permissions)

1. Download the app
2. Make a backup of the Phonesky.apk within the folder system\app\
Note: can rename it to Phonesky.apk.bck
4. Copy the downloaded file to \system\app folder and rename it to Phonesky.apk
5. Reboot phone

The .apk I posted was the one I downloaded on AndroidPolice. I installed it as a apk normally. I'm not sure why you guys are having trouble installing it.

Anyone know how to theme this black?

Swyped on my Galaxy Nexus running AOKP with Franco Kernel
Thank for you providing this!
finally cleared up "all" apps list
3.9.16
Best play store update to date! Cleaning out those old apps is so nice.
Especially the ones you never really used. Its like its all come together!
Tip: long press an app in the all list to toggle multiple mode, then tap others to remove, when ready hit the slash circle upper right

Oh man, I wish I'd seen your post (or thought of long pressing) earlier! It took a while to clean out my list lol.
I still can't install the new update I get same error as everyone on the first post and I try looking for the system folder and can't seem to find it...any help anyone?

Hi.
Ive been searching around to find either a gallery or an app that would show me my dropbox videos and pics in the gallery without copying them to the device. This would save me a lot of space as i take a lot of pictures.
Ive used foldersync from the market but that just copys the files across so not what im looking for.
Ive heard that the note 2 has this function and also htc sense.
Cheers
I find the Dropbox gallery in the Dropbox app pretty good. Tap on the gallery tab to get to it, 2nd icon at the top
I too love the dropbox gallery itself, but would like to see a way of integrating dropbox into other gallery apps..
Nice thread, let's hope someone finds something.
+1

+1. I do the same thing as OP currently as I have found no better alternative. I can confirm that the note 2 doors do it.

Might be on to something here.
Does anyone know how to link an icon to all your photos folder in pictarine?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda premium
Right ill tell you what i did. In pretty happy with it.
I installed pictarine and added my dropbox account.
I went to preferences-starting screen and i chose my photos.
I installed Nova and i changed the icon of pictarine to my gallery one so in effect i have replaced my gallery with pictarines. Its pretty nice and now all my photos are in the one place at the click of a button

Trying to do this and can't. My Nexus 7 is rooted, my 4 isn't. For my 7 I just deleted the talk apk in system/apps and reinstalled from the market. Since I can't do that on my 4,I decided to just pull the apk from my tablet and install. But it won't install. Just has an X and says "app not installed". Whats the deal here? I've done this before. Anyone got an apk file I can use?

Just install it from the browser
Someone posted the apk in here, what happened? I got it before but not really seeing why it can't be posted. It's not warez if it's free.

Install from the web play store. You can get there from your Nexus 4's Chrome browser. Just Google Search the Play Store

The apk was posted in your other thread, here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2282115

This is why making duplicate threads get confusing
