Images Found But Still Need Some Help

I'm using linux and trying to edit these images with GIMP is extremely hard to make them look smooth. I never used GIMP I'm use to Photoshop and my laptop won't boot up with Windows 7 I think my partition is corrupted. So I'm stuck with linux until I can figure out how to fix my laptop. Would someone mind editing these 4 images with the color code 8d8d8d? To match my other Gingerbread icons the time it would take to fix my laptop I would already have left for work I just need those images to release the final to my rom.
Solved-Can someone help me find these four images in the status bar that has the charcoal blackground. I just need the name of the images or if you know exactly where they are that would be even better. I've been looking all day and can't find them. I've extracted 8 roms and some themes and still can't find them.

Text message notification is in system\app\Mms.apk\res\drawable-hdpi\stat_notify_sms.png
4G icon is in com.htc.resources.apk\res\drawable-hdpi but I dont see the one with the !. There is another one in res\drawable\
3G icon. The only place I found it was in com.htc.resources.apk\res\drawable\
The USB icon is in framework-res.apk\res\drawable-hdpi\stat_sys_data_usb.png
Though I think I've changed this one before and it didnt take so there might be another one located somewhere else.
There also might be more of the other icons in additional spots but these are all I could come up with. Hope this helps.

Thanks A lot man I was would have been looking forever for the text message notification.
The 4G notification I found but I don't think that's the one that shows up but I'll try modifying it anyway to see if it works.
3G Thanks I wasn't sure if that was the hotspot image or not.
The usb samething happened to me also.
I'm trying to do the last fixes before I take my rom out of beta and those 4 images was giving me the hardest time ever. I appreciate it

Ok this is the first time I ever used CM anything. I figured out how to get the gapps but how to integrate my DB contacts with my reg. Ones? I've been on myn's so I don't know what I have been missing. I even read the wiki on this.
1. Fb integration
2. Changing toggles in notification bar.
3. Finding a red/black theme
4. Swype for cyan ?
5. Anything else useful I should know.

By DB contacts do you mean from a microsoft exchange account? Best to export them to a .vcf file and import them to your phone.
1. install facebook, under settings, accounts and sync, check the sync contacts box. That'll link it.
2. Settings, cyanogenmod settings, interface, notification power widget.

4. Go onto swype's website, sign up NOW, they'll send you an email with instructions. Do it now because its a beta that will close soon. Its still free.
5. Enjoy it.

I flashed the themes from the destroyer ROM over CM7 and they work great as well. They will give you a lot of options, about 13 in the theme manager.

Contrary to what the person above me said, most themes you no longer need to flash. CM has the T-Mobile Theme Engine now, which just lets you side-load an APK, then select the theme in the Theme Manager app, then reboot. That's it!
No more flashing crap that breaks on every other update.

where are they? My CM theme manager only came with 3 options. Love to get more easily

I mean fb contacts lol and I'll try these. I was gonna say I'm getting horrible battery but it's hard to judge cause my phone was in the coat room with no signal 58%.

All over the place! There's some in the Market, and dozens posted in all of the Themes sections here on XDA. You could give BlueBuzzer or Honeybread a try, for example.
Remember, just download the APK, install the APK, select the theme in the manager, and then reboot. No flashing or anything. Taking a backup beforehand though wouldn't hurt.

The red CM7 THEME is amazing. I would like to know why my juice defender isn't working though. I cannot accurately judge my battery life but I know Juice would help me.

I don't use it personally, but not all apps are compatible with 2.3 [gingerbread] yet, so you may have to wait.

It's probably cause I'm running an older version. Don't really like the new UI. I am gonna try installing a different version to see if it makes a difference. Now I understand what all this GB hype is about.

Well I think that is what you're looking for. You do that method, except he used "karadorde" for his phone, and I put it teh roxxorz on mine. You can make the text say whatever you want it to. And mine shows up like that on the lock screen and notification bar.

It worked. I used AndroZip and Terminal Emulator. Wasn't hard I just didn't read the second set of steps cause I thought it was an adb only thing. It effin' worked I'm "pimpin'" now hahaha.

This is the first run "TEST" of the CM7.1 Android 2.3.4.

I am not a professional dev like most of your favs. I just like to make my own roms, and just happened to think would be nice to release.
This is based off the CM7.1 Android 2.3.4 build thats been in the making. It does not have the Video GTalk. That will have to come later. But this is VERY fast and VERY smooth IMHO.
I loaded this over RoyalGinger and all it did was speed it up a lil bit.
Loaded clean and works flawless. I saw no issues. If you find any please let me know and if it's in my power i will fix it.

Phone Calls "CLEAR"
Camera
WIFI Calling
Torch.
Not Working:
haven't found anything as of yet.

We basically did the build around the same time. You could download either. I posted mine just as a mirror as I doubt anything changed in the source since dragon did his build. Only thing I've noticed so far is there is a little delay with the screen coming on when you wake it.

I have Royal Ginger with this loaded on top of it. I didn't wipe and everything works fine. I did a wipe and still had fully functional device. So i went back and Restored RoyalGinger reloaded Android 2.3.4 over it so i can flash Updated Gapps.

Nice. Can't wait to try out video calling.

OK. The whole reason for me getting this build and putting in the work was for VIDEO GTALK. I got voice chat to work with no problem over wifi. Haven't tried 3g or 4g as i'm in Augusta, Ga and 4G sucks butt here. If somebody figures out how to get Video working on it. Please let me know. Kept saying i wasn't configured for vid chat at this time and wife is calling me for dinner so i gotta go.

what works:
-camera!! yes, it works
-CM stuff, like weather on lockscreen, a power menu that can reboot, go into recovery, etc.
-thats all i know for now. the rest is the basic stuff, like wifi, bluetooth, etc.
what doesnt work:
-i am not too sure myself, so if anyone wants to keep looking for stuff, please do and inform us so i can put it under here
-heat issues because of the kernel. With pretty much anything that requires audio and having headphones inserted will cause the phone to heat up
Instructions:
1. wipe all /system, /cache/ dalvik-cache, and /data
2. flash ROM
3. flash gapps
4. flash LowMicFix.zip (so Google Now and other apps can recognize voice better. mic is too soft)
if updating:
1. just flash it without wiping system, data, etc.
2. flash gapps
3. flash LowMicFix.zip

tips:
if you want to record video, download videocam illusion. go into the settings, and change the audio frequency from 48kHz to 44.1kHz. there ya go, recording!
dont want a green line on your 5mp pics? check out Camera JB+ on the play store (or if you can find it elsewhere ). it works fine for me
full wiping from time to time may help in the lagginess of the ROM. this one is up to the user
a cache and dalvik cache wipe may be effective. also, fix permissions. that can be helpful as well

i flashed it, nothing went wrong. i am going to see if it worked. it probably will. go for it!

Status update #1: Dev-Host is being a PITA. so, google drive will be the new mirror for now
Status update #2: i uploaded the 7-19 version. camera works, since i replaced some files from the 7-20 version. backlights seem to be working as well, even with auto-brightness
Status update #3: apparently, the backlights keep going on and off at random times with auto brightness. strange...
Status update #4: looks like i never updated this in a while lol. ok, so cm things from cm9 are now starting to come together in cm10 . bluetooth is finally working...well it discovers devices now. 8-14-2012 is the latest build. go get it!
Status update #5: i've been slacking in these lol. anyways, a new build will be up. it will be a 9-14-2012 version (status made on 9/13/2012)
Status update #6: i will have to delay the update. sorry about that (status made on 9/13/2012)

Status update #9: trying to get wifi working on the 3.0 kernel. no luck so far. will continue to try.
edit: it did not work. kernel 3.0 does not have working wifi yet. but we are so close. wifi is the only thing standing in the way (unless the heat and battery issue when headphones are inserted is still present. i didnt really test it) (status made on 10/5/2012)

i got it working, but you have to type the code in every single time you reboot. it becomes a pain, and a hassle

....thats not what i do! lol. i meant like in the night or something. a group shot outside in the night on the beach or idk, just some place. i know a phone camera flash doesnt do much, but it does something
gps connects very quickly. well for me, it connected within a second! then again...im on wifi lol. on HSPA (faux 4G) i got connected within 5 seconds. seems pretty good to me

Well its supposed to connect fast on wifi, it uses the IP address to help pinpoint your location.
What makes a difference is if it locks on the network, cause wifi ain't everywhere ya know.

My photos and music won't show up on my gallery and apollo, just like on Cnote74's jellybean rom... it's almost like the apps can't read my sdcard? If i take a picture, then it will show on my gallery, but just THAT picture. It's like it ignores my sdcard? Can anyone help me?

I flashed through cwm and just get Samsung keyboard fc. Any ideas?

Logcat or it didn't happen :thumbup:
Also this is for 4.4+ in case that wasn't clear

Sorry I'm not advanced enough to pull logcat. I even read up on how to and still not sure. I am on 4.4 just figured I would state that after I flashed in recovery like you said to do, it said successful. Optimized apps on boot then Samsung keyboard stopped working message appears. It happened whether believed or not. Back to google keyboard but I gave you a thanks anyway, relax no biggie

Yea that's the same as mine but it's missing some libs
The zip I posted works fine on my S3 and on an S4, not sure why he is getting fcs and I'd need a log to be able to modify it at all if necessary

Is there anyway I can get this keyboard? The file is missing on both links provided :/
