Hey guys.
I want to use HTTPS and Socks proxy .
I tried using Proxydroid app (which says it requires Rooted device and Iptables support)
When I set up proxy on the app , It doesn't work .
My arc s is rooted .
But I don't know what Iptables is ?
is it not supported on my Stock based Rom (Acronium) ?
Me too, any help with this would be appreciated. Does anyone know if the new ICS beta has options for configuring proxy in the wifi options?
the new ICS beta has options for configuring proxy in the wifi options but has not options for configuring account information
so i installed proxydroid to configurate account information but it didn't work because we don't have iptables support
please help us what is iptables support and what can we do to gain it
Well looks like we do have IP tables go to a terminal emulator, type iptables and you'll get output

I just flashed cyanogen rom 6.1.2 with wimax and while running through all my apps and starting google goggles I get this error message.
Unsupported system configuration
Goggles wont work in your non standard system configuration (kernal is missing IPv6 support)
I got the kernal from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=902051

I'm trying to connect my phone up to my works Cisco VPN.
I've read online that I need a compiled version of tun.ko kernel module in order for it to work. I've checked in /system/lib/modules/ and can't see it in there.
There are instructions online for compiling it which I wouldn't mind doing but I'm guessing this will have to wait until HTC release the kernel sources for the One X(?)
Can I use the module from another phone running the same kernel version?
EDIT: Sorry just done some more reading and found out tun.ko is baked into ICS so this can't be the problem I'm having
Did you manage to get this working? I am trying to connect to a L2TP/IPsec PSK VPN and I keep getting a timeout.
This has been working for the past 2 years on my gingerbread Desire HD.
I think it's to do with this issue:

but if anyone knows of a fix that would be great?
i need this tooo ,, but without root please >>>
Hello. I successfully compile a kernel to use an ethernet over USB dongle, chip AX88772.
I am able to download files with wget on terminal, at a very good speed.
But all other applications on my Galaxy note 10.1 2014 edition can't have access to internet e.g chrome.
What should I do?
Is there an app like Networkmanager on Android?
Thanks for your help.

The Problem is related to DNS because when I enter the IP address in the bar address, the first request works.
But I don't know yet how to fix this DNS problem. In a console, nslookup address works perfectly.
Hi Guys.
I'm running on my N7100 the last 27/01 CM 10.2
I'm coming from old omega 4.1.2 where i was using Chrome browser and a DNS changer (using Google instead of my own local provider) in order
to access to a File Hosting provider (uploaded.net) where i'm used to store all my stuff.
Switching to CM10.2 i saw that the google DNS are natively stored into rom structure and no need to use a DNS change (even if i tried to use several to check a solution for my issue).
Beside this natively build-in Google DNS i CAN'T access in any way to my hosting service from mobile... Keep having unreachable site error.
Can somebody help me to solve this?
I tried Several DNS changer program as well as Rom Toolbox... but keep having the same problem.
Migration from Omega 4.1.2 has been made with a super Wipe and cache cleaning.
The only add .on to the rom is a different Kernel.. i'm using Devil in order to have a bit of OC for some gaming.
Hope you can help me.
Thank's
Nobody can give me suggestions to solve the problem?
