Sometimes the screen don't wake up...

It's been three days since I have a small bug sometimes.
Sometimes when I press the button to turn on my device the phone wake up (the buttons light up) but the screen sty off... The only thing I can do is a softreset and then everything is all right...
Does someone have the same problem and is ther a fix?

Happens to me sometimes too
I guess the ROM is not 100% stable yet... Let's pary 6.5 will be out soon ! (With TF3D 2.5 or even better with the new sense interface !)

same problem here, if he stays off you can hear de volume butons if you press them so it is only the screen or something.
also when i slide out the keyboard, the screen is rotating realy slow and bit by bit. hope for a soon spl and custom (nrg) rom

Have this too, sometimes. I thought it was due to WAD which sometimes uses way too much CPU.
But the screen not comming off is really annoying! And I don't know why this happens.
I removed SPB Pocket Plus and did not experience this problem again - I think it's just coincidence, but still... You could try!

UPDATE
It seems to happens very very more often if I use the camera apps.

got the same problem .... but then I just keep trying to turn the screen on with the on/off button .... that always works after a few tries

Text msg wont wake up phone
Is this normal? when I receive a text msg, the phone doesnt wake up. My TyTN II woke up when a text msg came through

i been using my desire for about 6months and suddenly the power button stop responding, i tried to go back to original state (e.g out of the box) and still the power button not working, i also tried to reflash same thing happen nothing,,,
Q: is this a hardware problem?
please help!!!and tnxs in advance..

Same thing happened to me though mine was due to me dropping my phone. I would give HTC a call in the first instance and try and get it fixed for free under warranty
My phone is rooted and has a custom rom so i am able to bypass this issue by having the phone wake on track ball and i have downloaded a few apps
screen off and lock (this is then mapped to long press on the search key
quick boot (to restart the phone, this requires root access to work)
after a few hours you get used to the alternative way to switch the screen on and off.

I had the same problem with the desire HD, happened suddenly installed nolock as a tempory solution, and was going to take it in under warranty for repair. It is caused by a stuck power button. Heres how I fixed mine. As a last resort, I removed the battery sim card cover and battery cover so that all I was holding was the Ali uni body section. with my finger and thumb I began flicking the chrome button with my nail, as if you were flicking a pea accross the table, after about 30 seconds of flicking the little chrome button popped out slightly, when holding it by your ear and pressing it you can now hear a click. Maybe a dust particle or something from my pocket caused mine not sure, but it was moisture or software related. Hope this helps someone who maybe hasthe same problem.

Buttom of screen dont work some times

i hope somebody can help me.
The buttom om my screen, maby an inch over the menu byutton, isent always vorking.
sometimes not even the 3 menu buttons. i have to turn off the screen and on again. this will usaley fix the issue.
When i am texting, sometimes it goes totaly mad on me, and the phone it self is pressing the keybord wery fast. making alot of stranges words .
i have to turn off the screen and on again for me to fix it.
seems taht i did not have the problem on stork. i have ben using leedroid 6.4. and wanted to test is a new firmware could fix it.
i turned to wiper xx. but this did not help. i even trayed an install without sence...
seems that i remember that the issue first starded a day when my phone got 100 % out off power..
anybody know how to help me ?

Are you talking about the 3-dot menu? Or the softkeys actually underneath the screen, I didn't understand what you was getting at, I'm sorry, your English isn't very clear.
If you can take and upload screenshots I'll try to help you.
Screenshots: Press and hold your power button down and then press the homekey.

My htc one x has stopped working, actually the lcd is not working.
When I turn on it, It vibrates, and everything like usual but nothing on the lcd showed, stayed blank.
The soft-touch buttons also illuminates and volume buttons work (I can hear the sound when Volume up and down)
I though that it was a bas lcd screen so I bought a new one as replacement, opened it, nothing strange inside and changed it by the new screen, but no works...
I have tried already to enter by volume down + power and nothing or installing the last ruu for it, the installation its ok without any error but nothing at the screen....
I have void my warranty opening it to change the screen so... what can I do? :crying:

I had exactly your problem
bro issue is not LCD it is Main board sadly
and the only solution is to changing it!!!

MainBoard replacement is the only thing that u can do bro

If it is the main board then the best bet is to send it back to get repaired and pay up, since the warranty is now void.

Ok, so How much will be the replacement, someone knows?, if some of you have a replacement or a HOX with broken screen PM me please !

It should e around 50 dollars.. You can buy it from eBay I think

I have a problem for my HTC One X.
At first I thought its just a temporary dead sensor or what at the middle of the phone.I have difficulty pressing all tabs aligned there specially when I want to turn-off my phone.
I notice that its an unresponsive touch though it still have a fine screen appearance.
Everytime i try touching the screen It just jump over the said unresponsive area(middle)
after 2 days i got things worse. all the button at the corner (back button, menu button..etc) ISNT WORKING..
please help me.. I want to fix my phone.
its not under warranty anymore .

well, i fear this is an hardware failure just to know, have you tried different roms/kernels? are you on latest hboot?
