Hi, i am noob about porting ROM, so here i want to ask developer how to port another rom ( especially custom ROM ics from xperia arc) to our xplay?
Maybe thread or post will important.
Why xperia arc?, there are many beautiful n powerfull custom ROM there, n our hardware is little different ( gamepad), and we got ics beta n it's kernel that maybe will get easier to port ROM.

thank you , can i ask which is the best MIUI rom for ARC L18i but JB i tried non official one from the development section maybe it is the only one and i am suffering from problems with the wifi it working for 1 minute then it stop i am usin Lupus kernel CM10
is it a problem from the rom or it is a kernel problem

Let me put this way if a R800x developer wanted to ported that rom they would've done it already. There are no R800x developers to begin with.
If you were to flash the Xperia S ICS theme over cola6 ROM I believe you'd get a similar effect. Or use the UK ROM sans bloatware. Cola is very light and just as themeable as any other stock ROM, so I'd suggest that

For me the nxt music player can be replaced by a third party app from the googleplay store. I want a working wifi 2.3.3 kernel. :crying:
There's a tool somewhere for this if I find it I'll post a link but if you don't care about radios it will strip the radios from the rom after flash and the phone should boot.

I am using custom rom Atomic GB 7 (2.3.7) + DooM Kernel v22
but I'm missing facebook inside xperia app in this rom.
I can't post to that particular thread.
please help me if some knows about it.
I have searched about it, but that was for GB 2.3.4 ( my device may go into Bootloop)

I'm using the same rom and it doesn't come with that. Port FBix to the rom would be the only solution.

Describe what it is rom is simple, it is rom 4.1.2 but applications are 4.2 and 4.4 otherwise mostly features JB and there are predominantly latest applications like Walkman 8.0.A.0.3, audio enhancement S-Force Front Surround 3D, themes, wallpapers other conversation 27.0.A.0.23, home 6.1.A.0.5, Xperia ZU Framework V4, BE with X-Reality Image, QUICK Toggles sony + white setting and Throw, a new keyboard 6.2.A.0.22, blackmart alpha market 0.99.2.44 most applications are white

This is not a valid format for releasing a ROM.
If I need to tell you how to setup a thread for the release of a ROM, then you probably should NOT be releasing a ROM

Okie! I'm on this rom for last few days.. And surprisingly it exceeds my all expectations... There is hardly any bug in this rom...best thing is the camera which is working normal now...no more fc, no dinasours etc...battery life is okie...processor is behaving fast n smooth, no more excess heating problem...
Yes! This is not a 'pure' kitkat rom. But whatever it is...it is good...

Personal Opinion on Choosing Rom
I got Xperia ION and i tried all the available custom roms for the device.....For sony based ui Xperia Honami v3.x was very good in performance, battery backup, lag free and features were also good i meant all the addons...For AOSP CM10 ui PARANOID ROM was very good,faster and stable rom and i experienced a good battery backup and rom was nice to use and multitasking was awesome...I tried all the ROMS and found that these two roms have good features and performance compared to others

I just want to try the features of this Rom. I am actually using the jellybean version of Rogers LT28i since there is no available update of the JB for the international version of LT28i. I still want the sony flavor of android compare with the other custom roms.
If you can help me to install this, I would much appreciate it.
