Guys, many of you must have noticed that opening a browser and contact for the 1st time after say an hour is very sluggish. How to make it fast??
My Arc is Rooted and locked bootloader.
Xperia Arc (rooted)
Keep the RAM free with stuff like SuperCharger and restart it from time to time.

I use super charger for bulletproof launcher. How to free RAM using it??
Xperia Arc (rooted)
It increases free ram. Try a cache cleaner from the market.

I have just rooted my Sony xperia S and unlocked bootloader.
What are the things that I should do now to get the best android experience?

remove any unwanted apps that use app ram and waste battery.
Well,wrong section by the way...
Anyway,you can install tweaks to increase your phone performance

Can I increase my ram?

You can increase your free RAM by deleting apps running you dont need. You can Check by going to settings- apps- running. By installing root uninstaller or any other app like that you can then delete system apps that eat your RAM.

Since uĀ“ve unlocked ur bootloader, you can flash custom roms.
If your BL is unlocked, and you are Rooted, then you can install Custom ROM (custom kernel). It will drastically imporve your phone performance!
And plus, you'll be abble to be on newer version of Android! For instance, i'm on Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2. Xperia S is suppose to be on 4.0. My phone is way faster than on stock ROM, and more fluid!
I'm Running CyanogenMod 10.1...
Your call !
I read conflicting reports that the Jelly Bean updates comes with 685MB free RAM. I also heard of users having 680MB. Personally, I have only 680MB free. What's yours and any idea for the differences?

Of course usable RAM differs in time.
This is usually because GPU and some other stuff use part of the RAM to run.
I have 686mb

Me to... 686Mb...
Sent from my LT26i using xda premium
it could be a bug, i have had 716mb at one point, (ics and jb, ill try to replicate for a screenshot)
200mb =gpu
685=system
139=hardware (drivers blah)
i have 686mb at the moment, i think xs, xas (sl) all have 1gb of ram
Thanks for the input. For some odd reasons, I can only hit maximum 680MB. Locked bootloader.

My lt28at closes app out when I'm using them. I'll be browsing on Google Chrome and the app closes. No force close box or anything. It happens all the time. Also, when I use the sixaxis pair tool, my phone closes it in the background in a couple of minutes. Is there any fix for this? IT'S REALLY ANNOYING!

Oh google chrome kills your ram
Your device will kill apps to free ram
E.g. Anything not used within the past 30ms
If your rooted then use a app like android tuner to put your oom on light and set on boot

no, it won't your device laggy. if only you root your device.
just try make your device not full for ram usage and not much do modification on your SystemUI ( System Interface) and avoid for installation xposed and xposed module.
that's my suggest and your device will safe.
and try to install app that will make your device can get more free ram. like greenify,xbooster,seeder and manymore.
I did root and installed all of those apps. Phone is fast and lagg free. So thanks!!
