Flashing Instructions through recovery
+Be safe, make a nandroid!
+Wipe data/factory reset
+Wipe cache partition
+under advanced, wipe dalvik cache+wipe battery stats
+(optional) under mounts and storage, format everything except for SD card,and emmc (internal SD)
+Install rom (zip) from SD
+Fix permissions and reboot, allowing 10 mins for the new kernel and ROM to settle in !
F.Y.I- This is how i clear my phone everytime i install a new rom, except i repeat each step at lest 2-3 times. to make sure nothing gets left behind and it's a full wipe.

In the past I haven't had to sign up.....but today, I that damn blue download button 5 times and it kept bringing up a sign up window, so hell, i signed up to snag that rom!

1. I made this Rom for my personal use... I'm sharing it with the community...
2. This is built off the stock EL13/EK02/EL29 release (THERE IS NO MODEM INCLUDED)
3. EG12/30/31 themes WILL NOT work on this rom...
4. I attempted to remove as much CIQ files as I could without giving the phone bootloops. (EL29 they are removed)
5. The Rom Download is at the bottom of Post 2 (Changelog Post and build code). There's a full rom and a lean rom... If you post in this thread that you can't find the download I'll know you didn't bother to read these bullets.
6. Post 3 is Themes and Mods (you should check back here from time to time...
7. Post 4 Extras...
8. Please keep your language clean and be helpful and positive. If you just want to *****, take it someone else...
9. If you do not understand what 2.3.6, EL13, and rooting is, you probably need to study more before attempting to flash this rom...
10. This rom is flashed via your recovery after clearing cache, dalvik, formatting system and then wiping your data.
11. If you restore a Titanium Backup from a eg12/30/31 rom (which is 2.3.4), to this EL13/ek02 (which is 2.3.6) rom be prepared to have strange behavior within the rom (hopefully we get which items cause the issues soon)
12. IF YOU FEEL I USED ANY COMPONENTS WITHOUT GIVING YOU CREDIT OR I MISSED THANKING SOMEONE, PM ME. DO NOT FLAME ME... I DON'T TAKE FLAMING WELL AND I DON'T FLAME OTHERS...

edit: back in cwm to reflash, first go 'round wouldn't boot. went through the bootanimation(which is nice) but then just appeared to shut off. this time round i realize the bootanimation doesn't repeat, so the first flash needs a good bit of time to build dalvik etc. dont do a battery pull for a while
got to lockscreen now and have bootloops, unresponsive screen. gonna give another wipe and flash.

Hey thanks! If you're using tw launcher click the app icon, click menu, click edit (then click switch or OK in the pop up), then drag your icon you want onto the bottom tray, then click menu and then click save... I've done the Gmail icon before but Gmail gets update so much the update would over write the icon... if you use the supplied adw launcher you can download icon packs and use whatever icons u like... fyi

If you know its not a combination of apps, I posted a link to the stock ek02 kernel in post 3 that may help. If you download the rom to your phone it could be a bad download too... you may try downloading to a pc...

Well thank you... that is actually part of the rom. Its in the framework. If you want to change it you can pull the framework and change the pangs to you liking if you want...

This boot animation hands down is the best ever !!!!!!!! I dont know how you did it but i gotta by you a keg guys !!!! The rom is very very nice flashed 4 times and finally flashed caulkins format all and reflashed a 5th time and it took the first time no problems doing tb restore now ...

First time flashing to ICS? see THIS post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=24028398&postcount=683
Installation Instructions:
You must be running a kernel with CWM.
1) Place the VeNuM ICE RC6.0zip on your SD card.
2) Power off your phone.
3) Boot into CWM.
4) Perform a wipe Cache, and Dalvik-cache. Now in Mounts and Storage perform format/system. Now wipe data (factory reset). You can also perform Calks wipe all zip (found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=928432&d=1330705940) if you want but not needed.
5) Select "install zip from file" and navigate to and select the zip.
6) When it finishes flashing, go back and select "reboot system now". The first boot will take a couple minutes. Subsequent boots will be much faster.
Warning: Do NOT restore system data with Titanium Backup. Do NOT restore ALL apps with data. If you absolutely must restore something with Titanium Backup, only restore MISSING apps with data.
7. If you DID NOT download the rom to your pc, and dl to your phone and there's a problem, try dl to your pc FIRST before you whine that its a bad dl.

All of the precautionary ICS flashing rules are in place until possible bricks are 100% gone. Let me know what you think....

INSTALL :::
guys this is how i installed and i got GREAT battery life
go into recovery wipe 3 times each then remove battery then boot back into recovery do all wipes again then flash right after flashing wipe dalvik and cache reboot and enjoyy
guys some battery tweaks to help on battery life
- go into settings/moresettings/mobile networks/network mode and change to cdma only
- change screen timeout to 15 seconds
- screen brightness as low as u can
enjoy!!

Quick Note:
1) PLEASE, after booting, you will notice no SYSTEMUI (look for status bar), just do a quick reboot before setting up your accounts.
2) Be sure to update all apps following step 1. After ALL updates has successfully installed, reboot once more. You should then experience full speed **Check SUPERSU to make sure the binary is installed**

I've been running this rom for the day, you will all be impressed with it.
how can you cook a rom when i have your s3 haha. and you must of gotten a new # because your old one isnt in service anymore.
downloading this rom now. always looking for new stuff
edit - you should change the date to 12/12/12 (that's the date her in eastern time zone) and call it something like apocalypse rom
sweet can't wait till i get my sg3.

I, myself, can put some great feedback into the rom...first off, the sound, probably the only rom that has this rom's capabilities. 2nd, I love the things the menu and back button are set for (hold them) the damn thing flies like a jet, yet without the jet-lag. Scolling wallpaper is nice. Plus there is a lot of features to mess with in the mms app and several other locations. I dont want to give away to much goodiness

I am definitely intrigued by the features offered by this rom but my main concern (like with any rom I choose) is battery life. Once people start posting about that I am in. Also want to see how much support the rom will have. It may be the best rom to date and will have tons of support but I like to sit back for a couple days first and see what happens.

You talked me into it .. was gonna go to bed but now I think I'll bust out some brews and flash this thing and play fir awhile.. but before I do, is there a bat mod ? I really don't dig the circle..

Battery life is pretty much solid. I didn't see any weird drains, then again, no two devices are exactly the same. Take your time man, I understand the battery life part. I'm very picky when it comes down to that. So I read you, loud and clear!

It was calling your name, what else can I say? Haha. I told myself I was gonna go to bed early tonight since I have my A day tomorrow for school, and I don't get to sleep in, but I'm still up playing with it.
EDIT: looks like I missed your edit, as of this moment, sacs has not given me any mods, if you would like to change it right away, you can go here and pick which one you want.
