Hi all. I have HTC Wildfire, rooted and installed ClockworkMod 5.0.2.0, And CyanogenMod7 Nightly Builds , HBOOT: 6.01.1002 and S-OFF. And I have charching problems like when I plug my phone to charge ir charges to about 56 % and thats it, but when you reboot the phone it shows 78 or 86 % but never to 100% and never shine green led, one time I charged for about 50h ( Yes two days and more) and even don;t touched it, but still it wont getted to 100% like was red led it be then. So could you help me with this problem ? What should I do ? And also sorry for my Enlgish.
Charge your phone until it says it is fully charged turned on and left plugged in saying this for at least half an hour, then reboot in to recovery ( Power off, hold VOLUME DOWN, AND PRESS POWER, it will boot in to bootloader, press volume down to highlight recovery, press power.
it will reboot to recovery,
Go to "Advanced", Select "Wipe Battery Stats", press yes.
keep your phone off charge until the LED goes green, keep it charging for half an hour afterwards, pull the cable & Battery out, put battery back in, put charger in again, and charge until the LED goes green, keep it charging for half an hour afterwards, pull the cable & Battery out, put battery back in, put charger in again ... repeat process until LED goes green STRAIGHT AWAY!!!
THEN. AND ONLY THEN.
you can turn your phone on.
it will say it is at 100% percent, this is wrong.
you must now use your phone until it will not power on at all. pull the battery and keep trying until it wont do anything at all.
then repeat the above process:
"charge until the LED goes green, keep it charging for half an hour afterwards, pull the cable & Battery out, put battery back in, put charger in again and charge until the LED goes green, keep it charging for half an hour afterwards, pull the cable & Battery out, put battery back in, put charger in again and repeat until green STRAIGHT AWAY."
Click Thanks if this helps
Thank you very big I'll try this
Noup. It didn't worked. I reinstal everything now it is old ClockworkMod 3 and SplashICS which works almost perfectly

Hi,
last night my Desire ran out of juice, and when i woke up it was empty.
So this morning i turned it on, entered my PIN and immediatly plugged it.
When i came back later, it was not running anymore. The LED isn't green as usual, and i can't turn it on.
It charges for several hours now, and nothing happen. I tried pulling of the battery, nothing at all.
I'm running Oxygen 2.0 RC7 (Android 2.3.2) for weeks without any problems.
tl;dr : phone not charging, no led at all. plz help.
Thx in advance for your answers !
EDIT : the phone rebooted without SIM and SD cards. Weird.
I just faced the same problem. I woke up to see the battery was compelety drained and the phone was off. I plug in the charger but the led doesn't turn on. How did you resolve this? How did you manage to reboot the device?
In my case, the phone was on with the charger plugged in but battery icon is red and empty. I reboot and clear battery stat in clockworkmod, reboot and all's well again...
Resolved
Well, in my case I had drained the battery completely. The phone neither would turn on nor would charge after the battery was drained overnight. I checked that there was about 3V in all cells of the battery.
In such case, pull out the battery and plug in your charger and you can see the led flash in all colors. This will make sure that the problem is with the drained battery and not the phone. Leave the charger plugged in for about 10-15 mins without the battery. Then put the battery back on and charge your phone, it should start charging and you will be able to see the red led. Now, let it charge till till your battery is fully charged.
i also have the problem that the phone want charge
when i insert the charger (with removed battery) sometimes the led starts flashing and sometimes it does not
at the first time i tried your method and waited for about 10 minutes
at next i inserted the battery but the phone didnt start to charge and now the led want start flashing when i connect it to the charger
ME Too1!!!!

Any solutions to cp6ija's problem?
This morning had same problem myself. HTC Desire plugged into mains charger overnight, but this morning discovered hadn't actually been charging and battery low although phone working. Now battery drained and cant get charging led to flash whether plugged into mains charger or PC via USB. Tried different USB leads and temporary battery removal as well as charging withour batter. LED resolutely dead
As per sod's law, phone out of warranty a few months back.
Help!
Hi having a little problem with my phone, ive taken it to a few shops and neither could fix it.
ill tell you what i did, i s-off'd my device and it worked well but i didnt like the joker boot splash so i reflashed clockwork mod recovery in hope it would get rid and it did, then i wanted to partition my SD card but realised you couldnt do it through that recovery so i went back to the alpharev recovery! partitioned my sd card and flashed Defrost 6.0k which id had running before the hd rom i had on, i then rebooted my phone and it got stuck in boot loop for some reason? i removed the battery booted into fastboot and it just came up with a blank black screen so i removed the battery again put it back in and tada no power? no led when on charge? any help would be appreciated!
How long have you left it plugged into the charger for? Leave it for about 10 minutes and see if you get any joy with the led.
If that does work, you may have the USB brick. I'm just clutching at straws at the minute though!
i have left it on charge all night still absolutely nothing
Do you get any response when you plug it into a computer? Can you see it using adb?
Me too...
My Desire stopped also working today. Practically same symptoms...
In my case the origin is different, I was on Adamg Oxygen 2.0.1. and loaded the latest kernel from Thalamus 2.6.37 R5. All good, the phone was working for a few hours without issues. Went to sleep and left the phone charging (as usual).
This morning the phone was off, no way to turn it on. No led on charging (probably because batt is full). I can see the leds (green/orange) when on charge and batt off, but it doesnt start, no way to force start to recovery (power+vol-down), no view from laptop via adb, in fact it doesnt even identify the device, which I guess is natural if the device is not starting.
Needless to say that any ideas are more than welcome...
I'm not an expert but it might be dead battery aswell, no idea why people leave their phones charging all night long.. i charge my Desire from about 10% to full in like 1 hour.
u need to take out the batt an see if u can charge it whitout using the phone to charge it
First, thanks for taking the time to reply...
For reference, the batt is full, I checked it with a voltimeter and it is good.
I discharged the batt a bit as well, but so far nothing works...
So not a problem with dead batt...
Ive tried charging without the battery in too, no sign of life!!!
For further reference in case anyone is interested.
Battery is charged (tried with another mobile which started without issue).
I also used the batt from another unit in this "dead" one and same behavior, i.e. no turn on, etc.
Only behavior I can easily replicate:
Phone is off, no charger, batt is removed. Now I place the batt in and connect the charger, the orange lef comes up as if it were charging.
When I press the power button (or the VOL-Down with Power), the led goes off and stays off, the only way to go back to seeing the orange led again is to again, remove batt and charger cable, and then putting again back the batt and the charger (in that order).
Guys i am on Insert Coin Rom.
And tonight i ran out of battery and when i came home i put my phone on charger . And later switched it on and saw it is 21% and then again switched it off and then left it over charger and after few min i remove it from charger and tried to turn it on it doesnt turn on.
And now i charging it over usb at my pc and now red led blinking and it doesnt turn on too!!!
What to do?
This is something i havent herd of before...maybe another member can help you!
have you tried switching on with vol button to get into bootloader?
Red blinking LED means very low battery (not enough to power on the phone), best to charge it with wall plug for at lest 1hr and the phone should turn on again.
USB charging is very slow and might not work when red LED is flashing.
I don't think the phone will charge when switched off with clockworkmod recovery installed.
Don't worry, this happened to me before with custom ROM, just leave it plug in to wall charger and the phone will reboot after 1 to 2 hrs, then it will continue to charge normally.

I posted this in another forum, sorry about the lack of clarification between methods, just try the options i've stated below, hope it works!
Okay, so a while back I had this same problem. My phone turned off, and whenever I plugged it in to charge it did not seem to be charging, odd. The red light was not coming on either. I was told to do 2 things, i cant remember which order so try both.
Option 1:
Plug your phone into your turned on computer with the USB cable and leave it there to charge until the red light comes on (leave for 1-2 hours, more if you feel it necessary), then quickly put it on charge using the wall charger.
Option 2 (not likely to work):
Plug your phone into your wall socket with the USB cable and wall charger and leave it there to charge until the red light comes on (leave for 1-2 hours, more if you feel it necessary), then quickly put it on charge through your turned on computer using the USB cable.
If neither of these work (as dumb as this may sound)turn off your phone and put your phone in the freezer for 15-30 minutes (This is done to discharge the battery, wont break your phone). When you've left it there for your chosen time, try option 1 again. If that doesn't work, turn the phone off again and put it back in the freezer for the same time and try option 2. If they don't work, i'm sorry I don't know how to help you.
Well, I have a S4 MINI LTE with cm-13.0-20160820-SNAPSHOT-ZNH5YAO0J7-serranoltexx, I buy a second batttery, well the thing is this, I was only using the new battery (bat2) and that went fully discharged, so I put the original battery (bat1) and used this 2 days, yesterday I charge bat1 to 100% and removed and put bat to charging, did nothing, I thoug it was beacuse was fully discharged and wait some time but nothing happened, then i removed bat2 and put bat1, shows 0% then I turn the phone on and "charged fast to 100%" well I took bat1 out and put bat2 again, nothing again, put bat 1 and 0% turn on and shows 98% turn off, put bat2, nothing, well I removed the battery and let the phone connected to chrager and put bat1, it vibrates and start charging, (you know it takes few seconds to go off even whe you took battery off) then quickly swap batteries and put bat2 and it stayed charging, good, moments later I turn the phone on, still connected, and was good, I used for about 5 minutes and then it freezes, I wait but no go to home screen, prees power button for 10 secs, nothing, what left? yes I removed the bat2 (still connected to charger) wait a moment and put the bat2 again and nothing, tried bat1 (worked before) and nothing, plug into PC says installing QHSUSB_DLOAD, I did search for this but can find debrick.img or something else? Can somebody help me? phone is dead or zombie? than you.

Not sure if I followed all your battery changes
With li-on batteries if you run them down very low you will not be able to recharge them as there is a minimum level they have to be at if order to take a recharge. So even though your phone shows ~1% and shuts down your actual battery may have say 5% (or whatever it is) actual physical charge held which is what it needs to keep in order to recharge & have some extra for safety. Now if you repeatedly turn phone on after it shut itself down you will use this "extra" charge kept in the battery and the battery will never be able to be recharged. (though some can be revived with an "extra boost" charge applied to kick start it, but you need a special charger to do this & done by a battery specialist). So I think you may have run down at least one of your batteries past the point it can be recharged. And/or your new battery may have been faulty, take it back to the shop if under warranty. Showing 100% charge may be due to faulty chip in battery. (did it take normal time to recharge?)
So I suspect your phone was not bricked in the first place, but by putting in a battery that was very low (didn't have the ~5% safety margin) it didn't have enough charge to shut down the Android OS properly and power cut before shutdown was complete resuled in brick.
So you probably need to get a new battery (don't rely on usb power) and then follow QHSUSB_DLOAD debrick thread.
