I know this will most likely not work but its worth asking.
Is there a way to play minecraft on android other than the app because it sucks. It uses the .jar extension meaning it needs java 6 or 7 runtime but is there anyway to make it work?

No. Mine craft uses about 512mb of the ram all the time and needs even more to run alongside an OS. That is PC ram which is way faster than mobile ram. The game also requires enough CPU power to render huge worlds and all of the changes associated with them which the hummingbird obviously can't do. The graphics are also too intensive for the gpu.

Thanks for the info man. I guess I can stop trying to port it over

Im trying to build a list of the most used apps
not games
I'm currently working on a personal project and I need a list of apps that I need to modify to streamline into my rom
I'm asking you XDA what apps would you like to see in a rom
Note: all apps must be free I'm not dealing with lawsuits

Set DNS .... there is a $4.99 app called Masked Crusader but I don't see it doing any caching our phones don't already do and i don't see it doing any adblocking that you would use AdFree for.
Well I'm trying to include some useful apps to my rom and trunk to streamline the kernal for those apps also working on a custom app to control CPU clock depending on the apps open in the fourground example if your only texting your CPU clock shouldn't have to be high
But if your playing games or something that needs more CPU it will make CPU change clock speed up so it runs smooth and each value will be able to be manually set to users specifications
Not sure if it makes sense or not

Well you should take in account some emulators, such as fpse, N64OID, and SNESOID.
I need stuff that most people use so I can work the apps needed into my rom

As the topic says who plays hd games? I.e. The gameloft ones? I mean a lot like for a good half hour. I have many apps installed, all apps that can be moved to sd have been moved. Problem is after a while the game starts lagging so much I cant pass the level of the game. I have ~35mb internal memory remaining

Try to free up some memory on phone, free some RAM like closing unused apps, and cool down phone.

Once I did that and faced no problems, but I'm not a gamer. Just played 9mm while I was bored back then.

In simple terms it is the amount of memory apps can use as a virtual machine. Its a matter of opinion as far as larger or smaller sizes. Some preffer larger for data intensive apps and some say it can be a waste. You can play with it and find what suits you phone and setup best for you

So it means memory that can use by any single apps?

I'm curious about this too.
it is the amount of memory any one single app can use at any one point. if you have an app that is a memory hog you can increase the vm heap size and hopefully it will run smother and stop force closings. if you shrink it down then memory intensive apps wont run as well but you can multitask better

This is epic! And here is the original thread....
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1447157
You know what, this proves to me how easily people are fooled ... the term "Ported" usually means it actually RUNS on the device, what they have done here, is used the Unity 3D World browser to connect to a virtual client, the game is actually running on the remote machine, you can even "Host" , but it is on the remote machine .. So this is by no means a "Port", but they seem to have convinced people it is ....
Now I am by no means trying to take away from the accomplishment, but it is more of a web client, then it is a "port" , hence is why they have a browser based PC version that looks exactly the same ...
Just my personal opinion a "Port" should actually run on the device, not simply connect to another source to emulate it ...
s
good
my boy is playing it now and loves it. once you get past the little windows screen it aint that bad.
Do you just flash the zip in recovery mode?
No change the zip to .apk. I've only had one game so far, kicked ass and quit on me.

Just get it directly from the play store..
If you get it from google play its called critical strike portable not counter strike portable its free though and set up is easier to use than the leaked version.

but still have no bots..
Set it up in the menu when you start the game
Is this the same as Critical Strike?

I wish I had the full version to test it. I've never played it. Just out of curiosity, are you running any kind of kernel tuner? OC/UV? I've noticed on the apps that need more powerful processors, the tuners will not give them the processor power they need. Setting up a profile for gaming and a daily driver profile might be what you need. Kernel tuner lets you disable a core processor when the phone is not using that much. Great for battery, ****ty for game play. Try to OC your phone and see if it improves your gameplay. Like I said, I can't test it and its a 5 dollar app i'd probably never play again. lol

My phone is in stock android 4.1.2. I don't have any program or anything. I just would like to know why the game doesn't support this phone and supports samsung infuse and galaxy s1 that are less powerful and those phones freezes while the t989 doesn't freezes. I'm disappointed.. by that issues.
