Wifi Standby Disconnecting issue (FIX)/Work Around

Ok this is for all u guyz who want their wifi connected when the phone is turned off so u can receive voip Call
Welll i was playing around with my registry settings and i finally got my wifi to work even when i hit the power button off .
The deal is very simple go to Control panel > System> Power > Advance / Disable turn of device if not used for XX mins
But at the same time do not tick the option to keep the wifi enabled in stand by mode via the Advanced Configuration Tool .. and u should be good 2 go .
This only means that the phone does not go into stand by mode any more . but ur able to turn ur phone off via the power button and ur wifi is still connected. i have tested this for over 3 hours now and it works great
But this also means there is a substantial use of power when the wifi is on and that means that ur battery life will reduce drastically but it works for me
Im using the hermes CRCs Release 13.1-pre6 - Stable (Build 20270)

If I will do so. I need to change the setting all the time and it will cause my battery to drown to fast. Thanks for the tip but I am not liking it that way.

lol yeah that is true but if u have like 2 battery u can keep wifi on all day .. by replacing the battery

[Q] Increase battery life (Leedroid)

Hi there,
I am on the newest Leedroid Rom and his 2.0.4 Kernel
flashed the recommended Radio, but yet my battery runs out 60% in 8 hours of stand by. Had Wifi on and launcherpro, switchpro etc... nothing really special.
Any Tips for increasing my batterys life?

I gather the 2.0.4. kernel has issues and a new kernel will be made available as soon as Lee gets to it. In the mean time you could use 2.0.3..

if your using wifi, a good idea would be to change your wifi sleep policy, you can set it so when your device is on stanby, the wifi will switch off and the device connects to your mobile network, when you unlock your screen, the device connects to your wifi again

Setting it to 2G is a good start as well, tbh if you dont use data heavily whilst outside you are more likely to download data on wifi anyway.
Twitter, email and facebook updates if you use them are fairly minimal on data/battery and use even less if you turn down the frequency checking.
The only real data hog when walking around is maps data and if you preload the location maps for your country you dont need that either.
Also install current widget, put the widget on the home screen and charge your device to 100% and leave it plugged in, then wait and keep an eye on the current widget. It will slowly drop down to 0 amp as the battery fully charges. Once that happens reboot into clockwork and delete the battery stats.

I see under my task killer (yeh i dont use it anymore) that 2 diff map programs always load. Do i need these? are they resource/battery hogs?

Bugs that need to be fixed in android lollipop..

I'm facing few issues I hope they got fixed in next major update...
1. Charging taking long time around 2:30 hours for full charge and discharge in 4:30 hours only
2. High brightness on low value that takes most of battery I.e screen
3. Camera charity is low photos have more shadow or less shadow than original
4. Gallery I.e photos is linked with Google plus app need separate application
5. Some apps are blurry like play store it also don't show download %
6. Mobile always on 37c while charging/gaming it goes to 39c on benchmark it goes further upto 41c
7. Mono speaker sound instead stereo sound
8. MTP mode not working for me ?? also fix SD card issues no way to change permissions and create folders using file managers
9. Problems with different headphones with mic
10. Mobile data drops because of bad 2g/3g hand off is not good..

I am also facing the problem that in the notification panel the downloading apps % is not shown.
Which is not good.

I think you need to pay around 200 $ to buy such phone... cant expect anything on this bugget .... Try to compromise or pay more...

I'm facing a display/font bug. In Reddit Is Fun and Zerodha mobile app, some items in the menu are not visible. They are moved sideways. This bug is occuring if the font is set to normal.
But if I make the font size as small, then no issues but it makes whole device uncomfortable to read.

Yup there are bugs and they are noticeable.
I highly agree with the tenth point... Yup, there is serious problem with the network, constantly drops the Internet and the range is also poor. I had an HTC dual sim phone and it never had any issues of range with the same sim, same room, same location. Always enjoyed full range with that phone with the same sim card. I am sure this phone has at least a software issue if not actually cheap hardware antenna. ?
And as far as the app download percentage is concerned, it's also been poorly handled.. Try downloading an app smaller than 1mb, something like network speed, or flashlight widget.. Bammm ??? there we have the download percentage... Hence, bigger apps haven't been properly handled while making the ROM.
There are other issues but it's OK.. What can you expect at this price anyways... The camera is poor. And the front camera is super bad.. Very narrow lens and poorest low light performance. But that's still bearable coz of the price.
The phone is not all about bugs though. If I have criticised it then I must take equal opportunity to praise the phone.. It has amazing voice quality, that is while talking over phone. Secondly, the performance is par excellence for me. Wow, butter smooth. No lags, no jitters, no hangs whatsoever. Not even once. I wonder how did they do it.. My friends have such expensive Sony, HTC, Samsung and mmx phones and they are so laggy at times.. Lol... I am so so so happy over this phone.
Just the both cameras, the network dropping, lowest brightness setting, are the points which, if improved this device will be killing the competition... Why go for Samsung s5 man??? This just does the same job just as well. ?

If you are running stock the on STAMINA mode. Also turn down brightness, turn off GPS and Bluetooth. Then see.

yes, i'm experiencing the same, coc draining baterry a lot, if you're using wifi, try to switch the phone to flight mode and turn on wifi, if not, make sure your signal reception good, if the reception poor, it'll cost you more power.
a simple advice is don't play it whole time, just play it when necessary

There is an app called Greenify.. Try It. . It will be very helpful to increase battery life. .

Play games with airplane mode (if no internet is needed), use stamina mode, turn brightness down, keep volume low/ untick xloud in settings > sound (might not notice a difference), untick "touch sounds"/"vibrate on touch", kill processes of apps you're not using when playing the game, and untick "use suto rotate screen" in settings > accessibility

I ll advice you guys to stop playing CoC.. ?

in CM12.x, go to setting/batterry/battery saver. and you'll get performance and multitasking and battery saved..

High "Cell Standby" battery consumption

Dear All,
I have this annoyance issue about high cell standby in idle time upto 90%, normally screen will eat most battery,
I search through forum and try to apply some tips but not work
exp: disable wifi auto scan, turn off wifi, forget network and clearcache ... and install AndroPlusMod (tick fix cell standby problem but then i cann't make any outgoing call, dial pad not response)
and also use "App Ops " to disable auto wake up but not work. It's only ok if i toggle the "air plain" mode
So Did anyone successfully fix this issue ? pls share with me and i think others will be applicable for their fone.
My device : Xperia ZL C6506, Android Lollipop 5.0.2

Known issues hovering all over older z series on lollipop.My friend has same .He tried factory reset.Firmware reapair ;now even worse.Battery is draining so fast during standby.
Batter rollback to older firmware if i were you.This is killing our old device.

Install better battery stats to see what is your problem, after installing that, instal amplify to block whatever is consuming battery
my battery after that last even 2 day if i dont play or stay all day on the phone

Same issue on CM12.1 (Android 5.1.1 - 2015-07-15).
Only solution so far is a reboot.

the full option is what help
if you are not sure buying it, try use some apk pirate, if you like, buy it
its not so nice for the developer, but just don't forget to buy if you like
