Hi all,
I don't know what's up with my Desire HD camera. It used to take the greatest phone camera photos, but these days it's blurry. I don't know when exactly I noticed the change, but it's poor. I use CyanogenMod 7.1 for what it's worth.
Disclaimer: I have dropped the phone a few times, could that matter?
So, can anyone provide any assistance in debugging this? As a last resort, I'd send it back to HTC, maybe it's hardware (and maybe they could fix my crappy GPS at the same time...), but I really don't want to do that as like all of us, I use and need my phone.
I can't post outside links, but anyone who can be bothered to do a search on google for "antony gelberg picasa" can look in the Ramat Gan album for lots of examples. I *think* (but not sure) that the left and right sides of the photo look blurrier than the middle. I'll try to upload a couple of images here, don't know if it will let me.

What about doing a nandroid backup and trying a full wipe and installing a rooted sense rom ? It is just a suggestion.

watch carefully, you will find the top left show a white patch, i do not know why, and the phone never kiss the ground and be kissed by other hard stuffs.
when i open the applications desktop from main screen,there is always a animation,then the white patch shows, it may last 1-2 seconds, then disappear, and the desktop black background looks normal.
maybe something wrong with the theme, so i changed ,but the white persist.
so i whirl the phone, the white persist but change position

To me it looks like it has to do with your launcher. Have you tried using a different one, or just to stock one? It may be an option somewhere in the settings since it changes position when you rotate the phone.

The Motoblur UI has taken a lot of flak for being slow, cumbersome and “downright useless” as a friend of mine succinctly put to me some time ago. It seems that things have changed for the better, at least with the Android 4.0 version of the overlay from Moto, and if you want proof of that claim, you can try now to know for yourself.
Pulled from a Droid RAZR, the launcher is now ready to be installed on any non-Motorola device, with a caveat that you should be running ICS. It has already been said to work on the HTC Sensation and other devices and there is also a choice of two launchers with different homescreen styles, so take your pick.
Head to the http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1577123 thread to grab the APKs and to get some specific instructions on how to get the UI on to your Android device.

Has anyone noticed since 4.1.2 ZVB the battery wont show all the stats?
On 4.0.4 I could use beautiful widgets battery shortcut and it would show this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
But on 4.1.2 it only gives me this one, which sucks...
I have tried going to settings>power saver>battery use
as well as shortcuts like beautiful widgets.
Does anyone know a way to get that other view to work?
That sucks. The Beautiful Widgets shortcut was this only way I've seen to get to that view. I'll see what I can figure out once I get the OTA. I just don't have the time to mess with flashing ROMs right now.

Try adding a Nova or Apex activity shortcut as shown in the video, you then just click on the graph to get where we want. Hopefully you're using one of these launchers and this works for JB too. It works on ICS at least.

I loved that battery usage view as well, but now it's gone. I still have it on my xoom which is stock and running 4.1.2. Hopefully we can find a way to bring it back without launchers.

Hey guys was pulling an all nighter for school, and decided to take some pictures of the sunrise. The image quality that came out was so grainy, its very disappointing. Has anyone experienced this and if so what are the possible solutions. I was reading about some people with similar issues and they recommended a market app but the app doesn't support 8mp. Some people are saying its the iso exposure but I'm camera illiterate when it comes to that stuff. I'm posting one of the pics and this was one of the better ones out of 10 taken.

Why not post this in the camera pictures thread? You'd get great feedback there.

Because last time I did something like that i got moved to Q and A because it was a question lol.
Fair enough, hope someone helps you out. I don't do much scenery photos but I've taken a couple and they don't come out too bad. I'm assuming you have all things stock in the settings? Didn't try and get fancy? Also case or no case?
I'm not a camera expert, but that looks like a low light setting to me - the lower the lighting, the grainier you get. At least that's always been my experience. Have you tried the "low lighting" option for situations like that ? Don't know how much it would help.
someone posted a picture.. this picture.. of 4.4.4 on an lg g3... any idea when we would be seeing this?

Pic is posted on g+ by Roman Birg, maybe asking him could help?
For T mobile
If you look carefully, the baseband is unknown. What your seeing is the first actual boot up with cyanogen source but I'm willing to bet both the device tree and kernel need further development for anything to actually function. The guy mentioned from the original g+ post this came from is Connor baker. He has his source pushed to github if you're really feeling froggish you can run it. https://github.com/ConnorBaker/android_device_lge_d851?files=1

Actually the pic was posted buy Tom Marshall https://plus.google.com/109746709508989257077/posts/2gXUKGeeibt. I was speaking with Roman yesterday, he's not actually working on the g3 he just reposted a fellow developers post so i wouldn't hound him about it.
