Boot.img file - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

Hi all,
Long story short I need the stock boot.img file that comes with the CDMA Galaxy Nexus.
Does anyone have this file handy? Or can someone extract it from their current phone.
Thanks!

You can get it from the Factory Images page, you want the toro/mysid file(s).

Thank you, that fixed it.

[Q] Recovery Image?

Hey guys, on the Forums
As maybe some of you know, I'm hosting/creating a program, that provides the easiest ways of flashing/ rooting your GNex.
I'm currently making a new all-in-one solution. But for this, I need to know, where the recovery.img file is stored, in the phone's ROM.
Could someone please tell me, where it is stored? It is needed, desperatly... AND PLEASE, NO N00BS!!!!!

it's not part of the rom... have a look at the factory images to get an idea http://code.google.com/android/nexus/images.html
IT may not be part, of the ROM. But it should still locatable, in the EXT or file system. Otherwise, apps, like ROM Manager, wouldn't be able to flash the image, or back it up. If you know, what I mean. But, if no other answers, are present. I shall stick to your's and I will carry on flashing via fastboot mode.
Thanks for the answer though, it is much appreciated.

As was mentioned, it is not part of the ROM. It is located here:
/dev/block/platform/omap/omap_hsmmc.0/by-name/recovery
It is kinda surprising that you didn't know that give you are writing programs for flashing.

Yes, I am making an app, but for Windows, not for Android. And this application, is using both: the ADB and fastboot
That's why I was asking, becuase then, I could flash the image permanantly, via ADB. But this will now come in the next update, because, before I got your answer, I already published it... ^^

[REQ] Guide for using heimdall for I9082.

Hello mates, has anybody here tried using heimdall for our device?
Recently i want to learn some development on ubuntu and have little space on hdd(culprit:android source code ). So i plan to completely remove windows but then i can't use odin. Also, we all love open source
If anybody knows how heimdall works or already using it...please make a guide for it.
I actually tried it myselves by reading documentation but while selecting firmware it searches for .tar.gz in stead of .tar.md5.
I also renamed it to .tar.gz but then it freezes and then force closes(atleast on ubuntu).
So i think some changes are need in firmware package?
If anybody knows how to flash, please share the knowledge.
Thankyou in advance.
And for those who dont know what the heck heimdall is, look here

[Q] Debrick img 4.3 MJB - Help please.

So I made the mistake of trying to flash back to a Cyanogen build off of the new 4.3 ota update. I bricked my phone. I was wondering if someone knew of a way to make a debricking img of the new stock MJB 4.3 update so I could do the sd card debricking method from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2345860 and actually use my phone again. Or if not if someone could point me in the right direction of where to find one. Also, if someone knows where I can get an ODIN flashable file of the MJB update, that would be wonderful as well.
Yeah I effed up, but I don't really have money for a new phone right now and I kind of just need help with this. I will be really really thankful :victory:if someone helps me out.
+1 on this. Would like to test out an ATT i747 debrick img from a 4.3 OTA.
I would use Odin to flash it back to stock, I have the proper file but can not upload it here, and do not remember where I downloaded it so I am trying to find you a forum with a download link to the file. I will edit this post shortly for you with a link.
Mr.Rageface
Here is the link http://fs1.d-h.st/download/00023/E5R/I747UCDLK3_I747ATTDLK3_I747UCDLK3_HOME.tar.md5 this will start your download that you can use with Odin to go back to stock. And I do not take any credit for this download I just happened to have come across it searching for a solution to fix my own phone when I bricked it I hope this helps you! If someone finds the owner of this link please give them a Thanks and credit for giving us this download.
Unfortunately ODIN is unable to see a hard-bricked phone. Can't power on, can't get into either recovery or download mode. PC picks it up as QHSUSB_DLOAD, which is why the debrick image is wanted.
I think this can be merged with the following thread though, there's a i747M debrick.img in that one but it didn't work on my ATT i747... possibly because it's an M version and/or that it's not a 4.3 OTA debrick.img. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2525902

where is my custom wallpaper stored?

Hoping to extract this file. Though from reading other threads, I suspect I need a rooted device. Is true?
thx in advance for your help!
