Frist i want to apologize if what im going to write here is already solved or posted and ignore my bad english..
Everything working great untill i decided to format my xperia play because its lagging too much when i play fifa 12, pes 12, shadowgun, etc..
Strange because yesterday i can play this games perfectly..
Then after i format my play (after reboot) theres no lock screen, back button/menu/home/search button not working..
I tryed format my play again and still having this problem..
Im begging someone help me.. Idk what else to do..
Even pc companion dosent detect my play..
Heres some of my play information..
Rooted
Locked bootloader
Stock Gingerbread 2.3.4 (updated using pc companion last month)
Firmware .42 (sorry i dont remember the beginning number)
[Edited] my play version is R800i
nvm i fix it myself with se update service..

psxperia was working fine then today I tried to load a game and it just said "updating" and never moved from that screen. it happens with any psxperia game I try. I am on android 2.3.3

Hey guys Im new to this android stuff but I wanted to upgrade my android version from 2.3.4 to 2.3.7 so I would of been able to play more games.
Found out about this tutorial for my exact version to upgrade it to 2.3.7 with this clockwork app to the version of the upgrade was CyanogenMod CM7.2
I followed the simple instructions, back up your stuff then boot it in recovery mode, I wiped all the data and when I installed the clockwork it just said a big error and said "Installation aborted" and same with when I tried installing CyanogenMod..
ANyone know why I cannot get this to install? I followed the steps any help would be greatly appreciated.

1.go to sammobile.com and make account there
2. then go to samfit
3. fill in the fields with Product Code/ PDA and press Send
to search for latest firmware for your phone also get flashing software
Enter *#1234# in dialer for PDA Code i.e. I9000BOJS5
Enter *2767*4387264636# in dialer for Product Code i.e. SGH-I9000ZKBKPNi9000DXID1
Hmm im not sure this is working, I typed in the PDA code that you gave me and I put in the Product code you gave me in that list and it diddnt work I dont understand what the 1234 is though?
Actually I figured it out! I installed the clockwork version 4 and then upgraded it to 5 then i installed the 2.4.7 version BUT IT DIDNT WORK, I just checked the android version and it said its still 2.3.4...
What happend?
Okay update again.. I FINALLY got it installed I have versions 2.4.7!!
Okay but theres another problem... The game Reckless Getaway on the android site says it needs version 2.4.7 (which is what I have now) and when I try to install it I got the same message I got when I had my older version it just doenst even start up and says "Sorry! the application has stopped unexpectedly"
What should I do?
Can someone help me? it seems like no one knows how to do this, I figured out all the way to get Chainfire 3D and followed instructions but some games will load and just go to a grey screen and i hear the music but thats it, and a game called Reckless Getaway just doenst start at all it just says SORRY THE APPLICATION HAS TO CLOSE
WTF? I have android 2.4.7 now I can play all these games it said so on the android site when I looked up what you need to play these games so why is this so difficult to play some games?

i have a rooted xperia arc lt15i running ICS 4.1.b.0.431 with locked bootloader and i am having a problem with google maps and steet view apps.
i have done some searching but cannot find anything about this so i thought i would post here. sorry if this has already been answered.
everytime i try to update either of these apps i get a "error 941"
i have tried uninstalling using titanium and re-downloading from the market but i get the same error when trying to download.
i have no problem downloading any other apps or updating them, it just seems to be with these
anyone that can help would be greatly appreciated as i use google maps all the time for navigation!
I know this doesn't answer your question but have you tried Sygic? I find that it works well.
And regarding your problem, hopefully others will be able to shed some light on that.

never uninstall google maps before clearing data...you will always end up in some error..
I am from india.I have a Nexus Prime with android 4.1.1..
i recently factory reseted my phone because it was too slow and many apps were not working.....
the internet is working fine and i can surf the net but when i try to download from google play or frm the net, it doesnt happen..
i tried it number of times and i even rebooted my nexus a couple of times but it wont happen.....
im acomplete noob when it comes to android as this is my first android...
please help asap...
What exactly happens when you try to download an app from the google play? Any error message?
Are you rooted? Which ROM are you running?

But today i don't know why even i didn't change anything in my phone.. but it stopped working?
Whenever i open any games frm gl2sd, it ask for downloading game data..
i uninstalled app., and then reinstalled it but no luck.
Please help..

Latest version doesn't work, try older version. Hit thanks before you try, cause I know this is gonna work
I didn't updated my gl2sd, and as i said it WAS working fine but later it didn't.. however thanks for replying..
And i started using folder mount.. it worked for me.
