I have just gone to play a game on fpse to discover that it no longer works. ive tried uninstalling and re installing but it still doesnt work, ive also tried putting different games on my memory card and having the app on internal and sd. Did it ever work before?Did the game work for you before?Can you still replay the same part?whats your FPSE version?
You need to be more specific in what way doesn't it work? (i.e. can you load that app? do roms fail to load? Any error codes?)

Does psxperia work on stock 2.3.4 because i tried GTA2 and it loads to the warning screen about epilepsy then returns to the launcher?
It doesn't currently work on 2.3.4...
I tried converting FF7 for PSXperia. they appear in the list, but when I try to load them, a quick popup saying "Updating..." comes up then just closes. I went through the guides exactly. I just don't get it.
Anyone run into this problem?
Or should I just use FPSX?

Check your ISO by loading it into PSX on a computer. Which version converter are you using? I know the 1.0 works for me but the 2.0 didn't. What instructions did you follow?
Verizon R800x, locked bootloader but rooted
got the same problem..
I'm using the 2.0 version..
- just got my CrashB files (APK and data folder)
- extracted
- select my ISO (Diablo1, MGS, SilentHill), custom icon, name,..
- convert...
- copyed to SD card (zpak,bin to datafolder, APK to random folder)
- installed
- game appered in PS games
- started and just got black screen and after few sec I'm back on my home screen..

I've tried alot of things and methods, PSXPeria v1 and v2.
I got REALLY close. I found the US version of Crash Bandicoot. this allowed me to convert without errors. It gets past the black screen, the Playstation logo comes up, so the emulator starts. But then when it goes to load the game, it says the data is corrupt.
I've been trying to find the US version of the ZPAK file but no luck.
similiar problem it just says updating even with crash bandicoot
have u still got the preinstalledservice.apk? if not you will need it.

It doesn't make a difference. It's still installed on mine and it doesn't work.
Just use FPSE. With the latest update to it, sound is almost PERFECT, atleast in FF7. There are still some slowdowns, but they don't last long.

When I last tried this I was on stock, just rooted.

Playstation Pocket won't work on any rom but the stock SE rom as custom roms don't include the files and APK files I believe.
Frist i want to apologize if what im going to write here is already solved or posted and ignore my bad english..
Everything working great untill i decided to format my xperia play because its lagging too much when i play fifa 12, pes 12, shadowgun, etc..
Strange because yesterday i can play this games perfectly..
Then after i format my play (after reboot) theres no lock screen, back button/menu/home/search button not working..
I tryed format my play again and still having this problem..
Im begging someone help me.. Idk what else to do..
Even pc companion dosent detect my play..

Rooted
Locked bootloader
Stock Gingerbread 2.3.4 (updated using pc companion last month)
Firmware .42 (sorry i dont remember the beginning number)

I just got strange problem with my XPlay. When im on custom (stock-based) rom (tried dixperia 3 or turboui gb)+kernel (lupusgb, doomkernel or extremekernel) I cant play games like GTA 3/VC (didnt try others). However the same games (i made apk backup) work with full stock (they start to dl app data).
After data is downloaded games work but still only on full stock, not custom
Is not adreno booster as i deleted it and as i remember gta works fine i with it.
Any idea?
EDIT: Full stock + custom kernel doesnt work neither, so it seems that my phone has problems with kernels
