can some help with installing htc evo diag drivers on windows 7 64 bit
please im going nuts lmao
Read the rooting instructions.
1) Install the Android SDK. There's drivers in the sdk/usbdrivers folder.
2) Install HTC Sync. It'll automatically install any other drivers you need.
Really, is it that hard to read?

You have to put the phone in diag mode (##diag#) and then use control panel to hand pick the drivers for it, for some reason it doesn't recognize them
Ok, I have the evo in ##3424# and on a 32-bit Win7 it works fine. When I try to install the drivers on a Win 64-bit machine it doesn't find any suitable driver.
Does anybody have the 64-bit DIAG drivers for Evo that work?

All I get is a "Android USB DEVICES" listing under device manager, umbrella-d under that is "My HTC." I can't install these drivers at all. Windows 7 64 bit here if that makes any difference. PLEASE HELP!?
Anyone know where to find Diag Drivers for window 7 64 bit computer not noticing the phone!!??
Make sure you've unzipped the files. This tripped me up for a second!
is it me only or HTC diag 64bit-win7 dont recognise in my computer...
same problem here to bro no go for me either i get the my htc under android devices thats it but it will not let me add the drivers and that means i can not use QXDM or QPST ??? PLEASE ADVISE thanks
Once you download the drivers create a new folder and rename it. Then extract the files from the zip to the folder you created then go to your managed devices and manually update hope this works for you

Heyho,
just read this Fu**ing great Tut from D-Two:
http://www.mediafire.com/?wozgwddo3ay
all you need is in this PDF, also all Software Downloads as Links...
So, thereĀ“s no need for Virtual Crap, but anyway...Thanks for that
at first i use Win 7 64bit I'm get confuse too, but that Tut give me a light.
im already try almost all rom in this forum for BA, but i think the best room is WM6.1+Manila by dtwo http://bit.ly/b44Dwe.
the important thing is, it worked. but to get on with galluslongus' idea, for flashing with win 7 (even x64) you don't need to run a virtual machine. i tried them all and encountered that to correctly loop through the usb correctly to any virtual machine (vmware, virtual box, virtual pc xp mode, virtual pc 2007...) you need the correct windows 7 drivers anyways. after installing those drivers you can flash in win7 directly, like the way, most people do.
i open this thread again.. because i am now at the point to flash RC5 on my BA. but first i had to downgrade to 2003 to upsize to 60MB Space.. but i cant downgrade, although the right image is in the folder with MaUpgade and i have done all the things in the PDF Guide like driver change and further steps..
if i start MaUpgrade (BA is in USB mode) the tool didnt detect the version.. if i press next, the tool checks the device and then notice me of successfull upgrade.. but my device is still running 6.5.3??!
Any advice?

you don't need downgrade!!! flash the rc5 it has an app for rezise at the beginning!!
PS: You must put the Blueangel into the Bootloader!!
its not my first time, and i did the previous steps.. driver update for win7 64bit. look sreen:
My device is running WM 6.5.3 Beta with 1.15.0 Radio
but i still get that Error 150.. i tried both RC5s on ur mainpost. i tried it with your updater.. what i am doing wrong? cant figure it out - the BA is in Bootloader and the cradle is connected via backside USB Port, not Hub or frontside. On Screen i see USB!
EDIT:
Now its working!!
I just reinstalled the driver and then sign it again via dseo13b (putin .sys in win32\drivers) - restarted pc and now it works!! YES!!
?? didnt understand anything.. sry! whats the problem?
omg zonice nomne

have you tried burning it again at a slower speed? works fine with me on my laptop running windows 7 x64
Just download VMware Player, or Mac Virtual PC, and boot the ISO in a virtual machine.
You will need to connect the phones USB connection to the VM.

Dave
Right, got it to boot up now. I erased the cd and burned it again. Now tho im facing another problem, when i plug the cable into my desire i get some errors saying something like - "unable to enumerate device in hub 3"
EDIT - i got it working now, the usb cable i got with my phone seems to be malfunctioning so i tried another one and it worked!
thanks for the help guys
Hi all,
I've got a problem and I hope someone will be able to help me :fingers-crossed:
I'm now working on a Core Due Duo PC at 2.1GHz on Kubuntu.
When I need Windows, I usually virtualize it in my VirtualBox. Since now, I had no problems with it.
Because I HATE Windows 7 for previous problems, I tried to install Windows Phone SDK on my Windows XP virtualized, following this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/Windows_Phone_7_Emulator
Now, emultators starts but it is too slow!
After it starts, after about 20mins disappears the writing as in "booting_1.jpg" file here attached and after some minutes appear Windows Phone Logo as in "wp.png" file attached.
After that, emulator don't go on any more.
I tried the same emulator in a Windows XP machine no virtualized and after some minute emulators was ready.
According to you, is there something I can do for developing for WP7 in my virtual XP? Some particular settings?
I hope in some help, thank you very much
Hey guys,
Just hooked up a Find 7 X9077 in the Peoples Republic. Naturally the first thing I did was wack on a AOSP rom (Gummy this time) using Linux. Now, I want to get ADB working in my windows XP vm, but when I mount the USB storage Windows can't read the disc. So I was wondering if one of you lovely people out there would be kind enough to copy the USB drivers off their phone and upload them for me?
Cheers!
