Hi, I noticed there is data connection issue on MIUI since first versions and no one tried to fix it. I have to restart my network connectivity in order to run data conectivity. Why it happens and is there a solution for it?

1. Wrong Forum =>questions in the q&a forum
2. Not enough information
3. I don't have any issue like the one you explained

Google 'xda desire battery calibrate'
Its the first result.
I'd give you the link but I'm on my phone and I can't be arsed.
Thanks a lot
why are questions going up in here when there's an actual Q&A section?
Because questions still fall under General category.

So what's the point of the Q&A if no one is going to ask questions in it? Defeats the point...
On the contrary, does that mean questions are not allowed / should not be asked in the General section?
If you are too strict about that, go ahead and create your own message board.

Well, yes!!
If there is a dedicated section for questions and answers logic dictates that's where you put it!!
It's not hard, is it?
@EddyOS
May I ask why you choose this thread to say your opinion ?
I counted plenty of questions in here. + 90% of all topics are questions in a Forum

My Desire says 13% remaining battery but the battery is at 3591mw. What's going on?

Hey, stay on topic. There's an argument going on here.
Hehe, thought it was the best place for it but I guess I'll go and have an e-sulk. Lol

Hello all,
I am a newbie to custom ROM installation. I tried three different ROMS (MIUI Gingerbread, MIUI_au ICS and another ICS rom). All got stuck in the startup logo screen. I did evertyhing according to the book. Any ideas?
Cheers
This post just about sums up the way XDA is going these days...

is that because I am in the wrong thread or because I am a newbie?
Why? Because you've supplied no real info about your phone or what you've tried doing etc. You've basically said "I tried to flash a ROM and it didn't work. Any idea why?". Not very informative is it?
And it's besides the point anyway. There are literally loads of guides about to help you (Bortak's being a good start). All you need to do is "search".

The forum rules require to use search. This has been asked and answered many times.
Also there is a big troubleshooting sticky thread in the QA section and yep, its in the wrong section, should be in the QA section.

Sure. You are right about the 'no real info' warning. I had to provide it - no questions about that.
Regarding your 'search' comments, I am not a newbie to the 'internet' or 'search'ing. Before I try to login and post a question to any forum I try to make sure I could not find someone else experience the exact problem and a solution for it.
Anyway sorry for wasting your time guys. This thread can be deleted by the mods.

Given the info it can be anything, but in my short experience, when stuck in boot, a full wipe and re-download of the ROM has usually helped..

How much time did you wait ? First time, some roms take some time. Some patience is required first time.
Is there any way to get this RUU, it is not their in the sticky thread.
Try posting in Q&A or General. Possibly even use the search function. All will get you the RUU you seek.

still no reason to open one here, you read there that it is taken down due to issues. wait and have patience until its back up. Not so difficult right ?
This is an English forum. I think you should read all rules again.

Hi guys,
Just wanted to know if there is a list or something with Roms for the E986?
Thanks

any custom rom that works on any 98X also works on 986 too. the only ones that I stay away from are the 240 korean models.
maybe somebody else knows better.
What about Basebands?

No need to worry about baseband. At least I've never had to.

I don't think threads like this belong here. This thread should be in Q&A, right?

If the AOSP kernel uppon2 posted works on AOSP ROMs for the E986, then you can flash AOSP ROMs for F24X. Tested a couple of them on a Chinese forum and they worked without any problems.
