Google 'xda desire battery calibrate'
Its the first result.
I'd give you the link but I'm on my phone and I can't be arsed.
Thanks a lot
why are questions going up in here when there's an actual Q&A section?
Because questions still fall under General category.
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
So what's the point of the Q&A if no one is going to ask questions in it? Defeats the point...
On the contrary, does that mean questions are not allowed / should not be asked in the General section?
If you are too strict about that, go ahead and create your own message board.

Well, yes!!
If there is a dedicated section for questions and answers logic dictates that's where you put it!!
It's not hard, is it?
@EddyOS
May I ask why you choose this thread to say your opinion ?
I counted plenty of questions in here. + 90% of all topics are questions in a Forum

My Desire says 13% remaining battery but the battery is at 3591mw. What's going on?

Hey, stay on topic. There's an argument going on here.

You'd think that a senior member would know this is the wrong section. Correct one is Q&A or Apps&Themes.
There's already one such thread in general, so check that one out.
Hmm good question, wrong place to ask it but i'll look into it.
Sorry but I figured seeing as it involves hacking around a jelly bean Rom to get the app that development section was possibly the best place to ask the question.

We all make mistakes but as you have nothing to share to us involving the development of something and you said yourself, it was a question so belongs in the q and a
Mods please move to q&a

PM someone or post in the right section... or google saving battery life android.. You have so many options lol /facepalm
write in the right sections, and be patient for the reply there. if you are not answered as soon as possible or as you wish or hoped you should be, that would probably mean that you should do a search about your question first. now, as long as your posting here in the dev section, might as well look into the available kernels for the device, titanium kernel is pretty solid together with the SuPrimo rom. got 1% drain for 6 hours that it was idle.
and please follow the forum rules, it's there for a purpose...
This is the 2nd time you posted bull**** in the dev section...infarction!!

I noticed when I use instagram, the emoticons are different to what I have by default on my HTC one X phone. I could not find an input to put the icons I see on instagram, I know for Android it shows the 'android mascot icons' in some of the input in Instagram compared to what people use in iPhones.
eg: http://phandroid.com/2012/08/30/tips-tricks-heres-a-quick-list-of-a-few-jelly-bean-emojis/
but I can not find it on my phone, using HTC one X JB sense.
Is there a way to use the emoticons that you see on instagram for my HTC one X phone or does it require pure JB without sense or is there an App for it?
Any feedback/suggestions would be helpful

I don't understand how it makes you sad? What has you being 'sad' got to do with a question I'm asking?

Last time I checked, it's fine to make mistakes and learn from them, especially being new in a forum.. it's not that hard, is it?
If moderators feel that this thread does not belong here, they can move it to Q&A. I have no problem with that, but I do have a problem with people posting irreverent stuff thinking they know it all. Are you a moderator? No.
two off topic useless replies isn't helping much....
Bump for another good question gone ignored on XDA.
Hi everyone. This is kind as simple as anything we have seen threads of these name so I too thought to create such one here

The HTC International Team don't allow any Off Topic threads and this one is no different.
If you want to be off topic and have a chat, go and check out the Off-Topic forum. I'm sure you'll find loads of threads over there which will cater to your needs.

For full detials of my fault please see this thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2522409
Basically my OneX turned itself off and wont start and the battery read just under 500mV, I purchased a OneX+ battery and changed them over. This new battery also read just under 500mV and after being on charge for over a day still only says 550mV.
Will the battery recover?
Is the phone reporting the voltage correctly?
Is the phone killing batteries?
Phone is a totally stock OneX.

Thank you for your input but I don't see how I have made a double post.
My first post asked for a way to revive the phone, battery voltage was a bi-product of the procedures advised.
The second post was a question regarding battery voltage and a link to the original post was provided to give background to the request for battery information.
Yeah so making a new thread is useless...you are now spreading info over 2 threads !
And you have been covering the new batt issue there too ....
Sometimes it's truly hopeless

I made the new thread in the hope that people with battery knowledge may see it, not every user will read my other post.
I've read the rules and can't see what your problem is.
Update the title of the first thread and post the message in there. Done !
No need to make a sec.....a well nevermind.

I require information to both questions so unless a forum mod wants to remove them I'll leave them where they are thank you. :good:
I think I've just met the forum troll.
Hahah forum troll.....you clearly have no clue what i have done and doing here in the Q&A section. Think twice before calling me a troll. I will leave it to that

You already have a great thread to get help and troubleshooting with your battery issue. At this point there is not any reason to start this new thread.
For this reason this thread is closed
