After a fresh install apps not synching - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

I just did a fresh install of 4.0.4. After logging in with my gmail account, I see that it auto installs all my apps (which I want).
However, after a while it gets stuck. I have no choice but to kill the market or reboot or whatever. The problem is, when I start up the phone again, I have 150+ apps under not installed.
I've searched and searched and I can't seem to find a way to get it to start synching (downloading) all my apps (100+ of them) from the market again. I don't want to download them again 1 at a time.
Anyone know a way to get it to start the synch process again? Or a way to force it to just download everything?
Thanks in advance.

apps not showing up in maket

i changed to imui rom and some apps are not showing up in market. i did some searching and didnt find anything related to by dinc. please help!
Menu/Settings/Applications/Manage Applications/All - scroll to Market.
Clear the data and clear the cache.
Back to Home, run Android Market however you usuallly do. It should act just like you have never run it and ask you to connect it to the proper GMail account.
Assuming you connect it to the same account you have always used, it should work again and the only thing lost is the search history.
I tried that and it didn't work. I am trying to download angrybirds. But it still does show it.

[Q] Internal memory and contacts

Hi,
2 question if anyone doesn't mind anwsering.
As I understand the DHD has 1.5GB of internal memory. I'm runing ARHD 3.3 with no extra apps isntalled and my availible space is only 0.93GB. Where did 1/3 go? When I was running stock I think I remember having about 1.3GB
Second, it is very anoying seeing all those facebook contacts clutering people I actually know, and I actually can't seem to figure out how to remove them!!
Thanks for anwsering!
Maybe the ROM was token that memory. And for facebook contacts just go people-menu-view, and check what you need.
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA Premium App
do you want to remove all the facebook contacts or just a few?
you can remove the data and re sync with facebook for htc sense to just sync cntacts
to do this you go to application manager and choose all
scroll down to facebook for htc sense then clear data
open facbook app and re sync
Storage issue:
It is possible that you have back-up, say, your stock ROM and that takes up the space of your internal storage. If you delete the back-up at ROM Manager itself or any file explorer you will notice that the storage will be freed once again. [Think carefully before you delete them, you may want to keep the stock ROM if whatever purpose in future(if any). Lol.]
Facebook contact issue:
Facebook contact you can remove them by signing out from Facebook and then sign in again, and you may wish to "Don't Sync" them. As a result those contact in your Facebook account will not appear in People app.
Cheers. =)
one more
Huge thanks! Everyone!
Yes I had 3 backups! Guess that was what was hogging my internal.
Facebook fix worked
Got another issue today, lol
I reflashed another ROM today and as soon as I logged into my Google and Sense account it reinstalled (restored) about 30 apps from my old ROM, which I don't want . I uninstalled them all, but when I went into Android Market they were still under "installed" and again I can't figure out how to remove them. Now everytime I try to flash a new ROM and sign in with my account it restores all those apps. Not signing into my account works though. How do I remove them, when I flash a new ROM I want it to be fresh, not cluttered with stuff (Kinda like fresh Windows install )
Any thoughts?
Did you do a full wipe when installing the ROM? It shouldn't reinstall the apps then, although any paid for apps will appear in your market by default but not installed.
Yes, I did a full wipe
Even when uninstalling them, they still appear as "installed" in market.
I still haven't been able to figure this out.
Every time I reinstall a ROM/Reset phone and sign in with my account it reloads 30 apps for whatever reason.
I've tried with another Google account (or w/o signing in) and those damn apps didn't install then.
Uninstalling apps doesn't even put them of the "my apps" list.
I somewhat suspect Titanium backup is causing these issues. Under settings I checked "remove market entry" in freezer and un-installer settings, and it still loads those apps. I also tried completly formating my SD card.
Any thoughts, guides,... whatever
The applications are installed because Android Market uses your google account to identify you and keeps a list of apps that you have installed. (Go to Android Market, login with your google account, choose "My Market Account" on the top of the page) This is to help users restoring their apps after an update. The list isn't always up to date though.
To avoid installing the apps after flashing a new rom, skip adding your google account until you go to Settings -> Privacy and uncheck Automatic restore. This should do the trick.
And the uninstalled apps will disappear from My apps in the market after a while.
What backup u deleted and how u deleted that backup,do u checked available internal memory after deleting back up.pls reply i am having same problem

[Q]Can't install/update certain apps

Hi guys! I'm having problems with the market for a week now. Some apps just won't update, or install. For instance; Layar and LinkedIn, I just updated a few minutes ago. Cordy and Stupid Zombies, I've been trying to update them for a few days. It downloads them, then says it can't install them. Now the last two apps are installed on my SD-card, first two aren't. However, when I transfer Stupid Zombies to my phone memory, same thing. So the problem probably doesn't lie with the SD-card, as doing other things on my SD-card gives no problems.
I still have enough memory left to install the apps, 722MB on my phone, 6,4GB on the SD-card.
What have I tried?
Reboot
Deinstall app, install it again. That failed horribly, I can't install the Pinball game anymore
Clear Market cache
Clear Market cache & force close
Take out the SD-card, put it back in + reboot
Try to download via 3G instead of Wifi
Someone told me to try and log in to Google Talk, as it is somehow linked to the market
Logging into the Market from my phone browser
Is there anything else I can do before resorting to a factory reset? I'm on a non-rooted, stock 1.72 Desire HD.
I've the same problem, i try the factory reset also didn't work...
What happened when you went to recovery -> Advanced -> Clear Dalvik-cache?

Market losing links to installed apps

Every time my phone says there are updates and I click on notification it will open the market but it will only show that I have Google Maps installed. I have to clear the cache and data for the market app to get the links to show again. This will last until I get another update notification. Anybody else having this problem?
log out and sign back into your main google acct from market place.
Thanks. I have 2 accounts set up and it was set to the wrong account for some reason. Now to figure out why it keeps getting stuck at Loading... when trying to install apps.

S5830: can I turn it into a satnav or have I killed it?

Hello, not sure this is the right section for this query; apologies if not.
I'll try to be as succinct as possible, and please bear in mind that I'm a total novice when it comes to pretty much everything technical.
I have an old S5830, unused for a number of years. I thought I might be able to install maps.me and/or osmand and use it as a satnav while cycling. Both these apps run offline and don't need a data connection.
I temporarily installed my current SIM to download maps.me, but insufficient internal storage. I tried rooting and using link2sd to move some of the bloatware, but couldn't get it to work.
As I had little to lose I then reset to factory, but that reverted to Google Market which wouldn't update to Play Store, so unable to download anything.
Next, following online instructions and assuming it would be more up to date, I installed a custom ROM ( TheUltimatum(V4.9)[-The’A’Factor].) and gapps-gb-20131214-signed to access Google Apps. That seemed to go alright, but again I'm stuck with Google Market and again it won't update to Play Store. I've tried using apk.s of the apps but they won't parse(?) so that hasn't worked. The impression I get is that the S5830 hardware is too old to run them; would that be right?
My ideal outcome would be to have it with the absolute minimal OS and no apps whatsoever save the maps. Failing that, can anyone advise me on what to do next, or is it a waste of time?
Thank you.
