Made my nipples warm hmmm
The next devices to show up will likely be a whole array of Samsung phones (Exynos chipset)

That's pretty encouraging. I do hope our E4GT doesn't take too big a back seat to its GSM brothers though. We all know how that tends to go.
Christmas hell yea! I can't wait.

Ha! Awesome picture. Good work. Cannot wait for CM9. Does anyone know how the capacitive touch buttons will work for the SGSIIE4GT once we get ICS? Will they light up, be functional at all? Inquiring minds would like to know.

They will work as they do now. The on screen home, back, and search buttons are for devices that don't have capacitive buttons.

the onscreen buttons can be disabled I believe so you can use your hardware capacitive buttons

Nice, good to know. As much as I want those soft buttons, it's just too much of a waist a screen real estate when I have perfectly good capacitive touch buttons available. Thanks

Hi guys, I love the built in toggle strip\menu in ICS but is there a way to add in Airplane Mode and disable say Bluetooth which I never ever use?? Maybe there is an app I should use?? I really like the look of the stock power menu and would want that if at all possible.....
Thanx,
M
Not exactly what you're thinking of (I, personally, find it a much better solution to this kind of problem): MoreQuicklyPanel
Also, Llama.
Thanks. I just purchased it and it seems to be what I needed. Coming from the Galaxy S2, I seem to be paying for something that Touchwiz had already built in. Oh well. Live and learn.
You also can install AOKP ROM (or nearly any other custom rom) for example and must pay nothing for this Feature

Just sent you back one dude.
How did you do the screenshot / GN overlay with reflection ? Is this with Gimp or Photoshop or is there an app that did this ? Pretty damn slick!

I have no idea but that is essentially what my first post was about. I would like the Bluetooth icon removed as I never ever use it and it would be so sweet to be able to add in Airplane Mode and Mobile Data, both of which I use all the time.
TulpiX are you a developer?
Thanks,
M
i've been so caught up with aokp, codename, gummy, and cm9 that completely forgot about gingerbread in my search for a stable rom with good battery life where everything works and is almost as quick as ICS. on calk's v3.0, better battery life than any ics aosp rom will give, and there are absolutely no issues with sdcard or market or gps or cameras. albeit, it's definitely not as pretty, and i miss the hell out of my apex launcher (there are no comparable gb launchers), and the rom's almost triple in size o_o. if you're someone who values a fully functioning phone with awesome battery life, dont forget about your roots!

Agreed on all counts, except this: the ICS versions of gapps. I can never go back.

It doesn't looked anymore shopped than any real screen shot lol. I mean what do you see? A badly compressed jpeg with no or wiped exif..
Set your screen to the longest possible timeout or to never turn off and then display something black since its AMOLED. Can get some epic screen on times while doing nothing. Extended batteries help as well. I could easily double the screen on time i get to 4-5 hours doing so. Not sure about 7 ive never tried.

This is what were complaining about. This was my 1st g-nex and now i'm on my 3rd and everything seems to be ok *knocks on wood*. I bought this phone full retail and this is totally unacceptable. If you want to be "ok" with something like this, go ahead, it's not my money

Tried it...but I like the touchwiz lock screen and it interferes with it. Phone flashes briefly like normal then quickly turns off...then active notifications activates.

Yeah I know what you mean! It's for those that want those type of features is all!! It's kinda like some like pop up SMS. And Which I dislike. That's all!!
But it's still actually a cool app!, not sure how it'll be on battery life..

Well, I presume using the AOSP lockscreen you won't have that issue. But I enjoy the touch wiz one. It should be fine (battery life) as long as its an amoled screen. Wouldn't recommend on an LCD/IPS screen.

ON THE N3 if you go to the menu screen where it shows you the different versions your on.. click on the android version repeatedly and fast and
you will get this big white K on the screen.. If you tap the screen again it will flip and spin around.. if you hold your finger to the screen it will
spin some more and get really small.. then you will get this bright red android screen stating your version..
WELL I NEVER SEEN THIS POSTED BEFORE SO i THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE..
if any Actual devs working on these phones need me to try a program out.. a flash or what ever.. feel free to pm me as I have a spare N900T to mess with.
