TP2 dead?

When I turn on my TP2 I get a red 'Vodafone' screen and nothing else.
I've tried to reset (vol up + vol down + power) and still the red screen, assuming this is the correct way to reset and TP2 is same as Blackstone.
I've called Voda and was offered an exchange but got cut off and have not had a chance to call them back yet.
Anyone know if this is fixable, or is the phone bricked?

[Q] Boot Problems

Hey guys, wondering if this great site can help me out. Just got a phone off of eBay (White HTC Evo 4G) However when I plug the phone into charger(s) it doesn't light up, display any LEDs whatsoever. furthermore if I try to power on the device it does the usual display of the HTC EVO 4G Logo on the whitebackground but then the screen quickly shuts off.
I then try the power+vol up key to access recovery menu. It will finally display the menu BUT THEN quickly the screen shuts off.
I then try hard reset, holding power button + vol down button. Same thing, menu pops up, as soon as it does the screen shuts off.
Connecting via USB cable of course windows does not detect it, it wont even boot up for that matter period via this method. lol. Any suggestions?
Send it back .... fast.

[Q] Galaxy s3 i747m Won't Power on...

I have a stock factory unlocked i747m. It used to connect to the computer via usb no problem but than it had some contact with water and would only connect to charge after that - everything else worked fine. Than I downloaded the new android update, hit install, my phone turned off and it won't come back on. When I press the power button it briefly shows a screen that says 'SAMSUNG' with the words 'Recovery booting...' in blue letters in the top left corner. That screen stays on for 2 seconds and than the phone just shuts itself off.
I can't get into recovery mode, tried everything -- volume up home power .. volume down home power .. volume down power -- nothing works. Before this update it would charge via usb cable but was unrecognized in ODIN and Computer (windows 7 x64).
Is there a way to unbrick it or is the motherboard done for?
Don't suppose theres a better or cheaper way to fix it myself than this http://mobiletechvideos.mybigcommerce.com/samsung-galaxy-s-iii-jtag-brick-repair/

I hate to see questions like this go unanswered. I'm sure you're in a world of hurt right now and would be willing to try almost anything. My first thought would be to consider pleading with the store for a doa return or 30 day exchange. If that is out of the question then you may need to look into whether a usb jig will work for you. The issue their is that you were having usb/computer recognition problems before so it's impossible to say if that will work either. I have never had to use that JTAG brick service but their website seems convincing enough. Reviews of that service look like the cost all in will be around $100, but I would be sure they will still take it with the water damage. I think I would contact JTAG and fire it to them with hopes of a speedy return. Just my two cents...

Sprint S3 will not turn on

I have a Sprint Galaxy S3 that will not turn on it is "Not rooted". I have tried to get into recovery mode with no success. If I hold down the up volume + home + power you can hear it disconnect from the computer but does not boot. If I take the battery out while plugged into the wall or computer the charging light will light up when I put the battery back in it will stay lite for around 1-2 minutes and then go off. Any suggestions or tricks to unbrick this phone.
Does it get into download mode volume down, home, and power? If so its only soft bricked.
sent from my GS3

[Q] Hard Bricked Note 2 N7105

Dear XDA Community,
I really hope that you can help me here.
When my phone used to turned of because it ran out of battery, the only way that I had to turn it on again after charging it was through download mode and then cancel pressing volume down.
The other day I attempted pressing the 3 buttons after charging but pressed volume up instead of down. The phone started in other mode that I didn't know and I was so idiot that I pressed the 3 buttons again (this time with the volume down), WHILE it was on the other mode (the one accessed with power, vol up and home).
Now the phone is completely hard bricked. No light when charging, no contact with the computer, no nothing.
I ordered in Ebay an USB jig, but it hasn't arrived yet. I don't know if it will work and I don't really know what to do. I can't really afford another phone at this moment and I'm getting crazy.
I would be really happy if anybody has any suggestion.

download and recovery, but you were only charging battery?
if you didn't flash anything then there is no way you could brick your phone.
so you can't enter download mode?
I entered recovery mode and attempted to come into download mode while in that mode.
No, unfortunately I can't enter download mode. No contact with the phone through USB with the computer either.

if you can't even turn it on, then probably you will have to go to gsm service to flash via service box.

They told me that in Samsung service point. They told me that for this phone, it wasn't worthy either.
The jig USB arrived and it didn't help
