Recently, it takes a while to load stuff in applications setting. Installing apps also take a while. What should I do?

This isn't typical. Have you rooted the phone? What apps have you installed? Problems like this are normally down to bad apps or app conflicts, or configuration changes made through hidden menu or things you need to be rooted to do. If none of the above is true, I would suggest doing a factory reset, then use it for a few days without installing any (or only a few) apps. If it repeatedly reboots in factory stock condition, it's probably a hardware defect.
Greetings All,
So I have a strange problem with my One M8, whenever I install a custom ROM (tried them all) the phone lags badly. Even leaving it after a couple of hours and picking it up again the phone just never becomes responsive. So what do I mean by laggy? If I open the app draw, for example, and start scrolling my apps there is a jerking motion to it instead of it being smooth. The same applies when I am moving between home screens.
Does anyone know why this could be happening? I am on the latest firmware for my device which is 6.12.111.4 so I don't think that would be the cause and no matter the ROM I always do a clean wipe and install to try and avoid issues like this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'm not sure if anyone has experienced their G4 running hot and stuttering a lot. Mine was yesterday and I couldn't figure out why. It would just freeze for like five seconds about every 15-20 seconds. Even my music that I was listening to and had downloaded would skip with the screen off.
I'm on stock MM and I have installed apps from third parties but nothing too crazy. I tried to figure out and pinpoint maybe an app that I had downloaded that was causing it.
I finally decided to factory reset it. I have to tell you that after setting my phone back up, it runs better than it ever has. Apps open super quick. I also decided to wipe both internal and external memory just to be on the safe side.
Again, I don't know what was causing it, but I'm definitely going to be more conservative and cautious installing any third party apps.

You should downgrade to LL and root your phone. Then you can tweak it to run buttery smooth and increase your battery life too.
I've flashed a bunch of ROMS and they all have the same issue. After a couple weeks, when I take pictures (especially with flash) the camera freezes and I need to remove the battery. Once it starts doing it, it usually keeps doing it for a few hours. Charging the battery to 100% seems to stop it from doing this. Has anyone else seen this? It makes me want to smash my phone.
i also have this issue. keeping the battery at 100% does not seem to help any. My issue is only with the Samsung camera app. A 3rd party camera app does not cause the problem, so I just switched to open camera.

Go to settings/application manager/system apps/ and find stock camera app open and clear cache and clear data reboot device.hope that helps.
that is the first thing I tried and on multiple roads, it did nothing.
So i recently rooted my phone with magisk and slowly and slowly some apps started crashing when i opened them, what can i do? By the way, yes, its not just the app install that corrupted and my camera app is crashing, its a system app.The video which i can't upload since the camera app crashes
Did you use root to do something? (If not, why root at all?)
That could be the problem, rather than root itself.
Anyway, you'll need to provide more information. Your video tells us next to nothing.
But I did notice you run Viper4Android. That can be tricky to get working properly. Unfortunate, not a subject I know anything about, but maybe others can chip in.
