[Q] Anyone running Team Eos ROM? - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

I'm running the Team Eos ROM on my Xoom and noticed they're also doing nightly builds for maguro and toro. I'm just curious if anyone is running their builds on their GN. I'm really happy with their Xoom builds (upgraded from their nightly 24 to their nightly 47 and when I asked solarNZ about wipe he said he generally doesn't wipe!) so I tried their toro build yesterday and it's pretty much the same thing as the Xoom -- even says "tablet" in a few places (Settings, to name one). It doesn't support general NFC yet but I brought it to their attention on their IRC and hope they'll address it soon.
EDIT: link to their nightlies: http://goo-inside.me/roms/teameos/nightlies and their gapps: http://goo-inside.me/roms/teameos/gapps

CM7 nightly builds stopped?

Have all nightly builds stopped or is ROM Manager lying to me again? I know the build system was down for a while but the last nightly I see is around 16th November.
No, at this point the cyanogenmod team are busy building cm9, ics cream sandwich based.
That's not what Cyanogen said a month back. He said the team were working on 7.2 and ICS. That's the only reason I'm asking.
They're still working on 7.2 as well, though you'd need to kang it or you could use rasroygbiv's which he kanged (the same as a cm nightly but manually compiled) http://db.tt/9yEySTcq and check out http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=917271&page=709.

Nightlies Thread

I was wondering if there are anymore e4gt devs that produce the best roms nigntly? If you guys know any please share their link where you can find their nightly roms.
I'd like to start off by sharing my favorite nightly flashable rom:
CyanogenMod 9

unofficial AOKP by chris41g

shabby builds these roms from the TeamEpic source nightly until we are a supported device.. then CM will build them nightly.. so yes, they are the same as Darchstars releases
cool, so they're as official as we can get until its officially supported.
are there any other nightly links you guys know of? AOKP? AOSP builds?
I came accross chris41g's more than nightly page, can't find any forum discussion on this AOKP rom I'm about to flash though but he's a good developer so I'm sure it's great.

What's the difference in the CM9 builds

Hi Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone could say what the difference between the two builds of CM9 are. There's the team chopsticks version found here: http://www.teamchopsticks.org/p/install-guide.html. And there is the, I guess more or less, official release here: http://www.cyanogenmod.com/blog/cyanogenmod-9-rc2
Am I right in thinking that the team chopsticks version is an unofficial attempt to port it over at the same time that the CM team came out with official support.
Has anyone compated the two? I've often heard a lot about CM, but have never tried it. I'm currently running Darkside Evolution 3 v8 with Touch0Color theme and I love it.
Thought?
I too was thinking about giving the latest CM9 RC2 a try. Kind of waiting to see if anyone else gives it try and reports back. I might do it before end of day today though.

I am currently running same Rom as you but a version behind, V7. I am just hoping that I can install it with the same version of Clockwork that I used for Darkside.
Team Chopsticks are the official maintainers for CM on T989. They are the ones who incorporate and create the code for our device. CM requires that all code be checked and approved before being merged. The "unofficial" builds from team chopsticks represent experimental, unapproved changes yet to be fully merged into CM.
Essentially, they are one and the same.
ive been wondering the exact same thing. im currently running darksidev8 as a dd but recently tested aokp which was nice as well. now im interested in seeing what cm9 has to offer.
Try the Cm9 rc2 its a daily driver for me.

Best advice download and try roms from this site as opposed to searching the web and as others have said yes Team Chopsticks are the maintainers for our phone so what they do to CM9 will be strictly for our phones.
If you are new to CM9 just stick with the thread we have here and get goo.im which will help facilitate your downloads of updates.

What happened to the CM10 nightli for toroplus (sprint).

What happened to the CM10 nightly for toroplus (sprint). Been a week with no new build.
Check out JellyBro. It's a unofficial version of CyanogenMod 10 (kang)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1774324&highlight=jellybro is the toroplus thread.
last release was yesterday, and yes it is already patched with android 4.1.2 that came out yesterday.
same thing as cm10, includes cherry picks (on right side of download) -- should be able to flash it over cm10 nightlies without wiping.

AOKP 4.4.2

http://www.xda-developers.com/android/aokp-kitkat-4-4-2-nightlies-now-available-for-10-devices/
As you’re making your way down the list of things to try with your newly acquired tech toys, one thing you’ll undoubtedly get around to is flashing a custom ROM. Those looking for aftermarket firmware now have one more Android 4.4.2-based option, as the AOKP team has just finished incorporating Google’s latest and greatest into their nightly builds.
Currently, Android 4.4.2-based nightly builds are available for the Google Nexus 5, Nexus 4, Nexus 10, Nexus 7 (2013), Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy S III, Galaxy S 4, HTC One, Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia T, and Xperia V. More devices will be added to the nightly list as soon as they’re ready. The AOKP team recommends a full wipe when installing the latest JB-MR2 nightlies, but users on unofficial builds released after December 10 may be able to get away without a full wipe.
Head over to the AOKP Downloads page to get started with the latest builds. Then once you’re ready to get in on the discussion, proceed over to the XDA forums to get in on the discussion.
