define "good". Its a factory Samsung battery, so the quality is the same as your current one.
is it worth it

Everyone has a different level of what "worth it" means. the battery costs ~$30 for the CDMA version, ~$50 for the GSM version. In both cases the capacity bump is in the ~14% range. Do the math.

It comes with a battery door to fit properly. Most extra 3rd party cases will fit with the extended battery just fine. Its not a very big bump in size.

i515 is CDMA and the battery is usually blue w/ silver border.
i9250 is GSM and the battery is usually black w/ silver border.

If you bought your phone for use on Verizon Wireless USA, you have CDMA. Otherwise, you have GSM.

You get GSM for GSM. CDMA for CDMA. BUT THEY ARE NOT INTERCHANGEABLE.

They both give nearly the same % increase in battery over stock; the CDMA phone has a 1850mAh stock, and a 2100mAh extended. GSM has 1750mAh stock, and 2000mAh extended.

oookie i have the gsm then i bought it from canada bell
but the amazon links i posted were they the right one ?
if not can u find me a ebay or amzaon link ?

all the ones i see is for the i515

Search Ebay for "Samsung Google Galaxy Nexus GT I9250 2000mah Extended Battery Case Cover"
That auction is an OEM Samsung battery and includes the battery cover and is going to be your best best for a extended battery.

If getting the GSM version I recommend just getting the official Samsung one, especially because you wan't an approved back cover for the extended so it looks correct.
Again, you cannot use the i515 version.

USA / Europe model confusion

Does anyone else feel that Google/Samsung should have given different model names to the new Nexus to avoid confusion for Accessories, ROMs, Kernels etc?
I suggest:
a) "Galaxy FatBoy" - CDMA/LTE, Verizon bloatware, 16/32GB, 0.37in thick, 0.33 lbs, 1850mAh
b) "Galaxy Slim" - GSM/HSPA+, Google raw, 16GB , 0.35in thick, 0.30 lbs, 1750mAh
.... it really would avoid a lot of confusion .......
Uuuugh.
They have. The LTE is the i515 and the GSM is i9250.
But everyone refers to both models as the "Galaxy Nexus", rarely differentiating between the two variants.
Maybe because they are the Galaxy Nexus? Just sayin....

All cases designed for the Verizon version fit the GSM version "like a glove" (I have a Verizon case on my GSM GNEX and I agree).
Batteries, docks, chargers, screen protectors, etc, etc, are completely universal.
Accessories = non issue
Flashing ROMS, etc, = issue, but if you are into that you knew this already

better check your facts again. Batteries are not. And no one knows yet about doxks.

Not all cases perfectly fit either. The tpu style cases are mostly fine but the hard plastic styles you may want to research further. The barely there case is a prime example.

Yeah, this is kind of incorrect. Check the other threads about cases in here. And batteries are definitely NOT compatible.
Maybe screen protectors are.

i9300 and SGH-i747 Same Battery Type..?

Hey guys,
Just wondering if the battery for the i9300 version, and the SGH-i747 model is the same battery? If I buy a battery that has i9300 on the back will it work on my i747 model? When sellers list compatible devices, the i9300 is one of them, but the i747 isn't so just wondering. Thanks.
My battery number is also EB-L1G6LLA and most of the batteries I'm finding are EB-L1G6LLU is that also okay with the i747 model?
Yes they are the same

I'm currently looking into this myself. I normally buy my batteries off of eBay without problem. However, this time I rushed when I did and just purchased batteries for the Galaxy S3 without doing the comparison for Canadian model to US. I received a battery for my Telus GS3 which is the SGH-i747M, but the battery was for the i9300. I decided to try it anyway because they are pretty much the same phone.
My results:
- the phone works just fine
- battery life is approx 1/2 (4 hours normal usage - for me, 10% drain per hour in stand-by)
- OEM battery does not charge with the wall charger I received with the batteries
Has anyone else run into this situation? I'm thinking I might try again but with the proper specs (ie not rush), but if I can get an answer before I spend more cash, it would be better!
Cheers,
Chris
they ARE NOT THE SAME!!!! WARNING!
eb-l1g6llu vs eb-l1g6lla----- im going thru the same thing and this is what ive found out/learned,, the eb-l1g6llu is a crappy "replacement" sure it fits and chargers and powers up but the battery life is nowhere near what our original batteries give us,, in 43 minutes i was down to 70% left! see pic-- i also felt a difference in weight so i weighed them both and the eb-l1g6llu actually weighs less so im sure would be another reason for the sucky life,, im currently sending my eb-l1g6llu back to the seller for a full refund since they are horrible,, also you will notice that the eb-l1g6llu has chinese writing on it-see pic- hints another reason it sucks,, they are just cheaper batteries that are the same size but not same weight and the 2100mah written on it is a total lie, my original battery is the one on the left on both pics,, im currently messaging a different seller on ebay where ive explained all this,, he is selliing the EB-L1G6LLZ which comes in the verizon s3 but will work in all sg3's but he also mentioned that the EB-L1G6LLA is any "original battery" and its just different cause of the carrier,, but again the eb-l1g6llu is just a flat out fake cheap battery people are selling just to rip you off,, when i get the EB-L1G6LLZ from him if it works properly with "real" battery life like the ones that came with our s3's then ill come back and reply with his link so hopefully nobody else will get screwed over,, thanks for reading ,.,.
peace,.,. chuck
Actually not... The battery is either fake or not, it is not related to the model so directly. My International S3 came originally with EB-L1G6LLU battery=

Have just contacted online Samsung support, they told me that there's really no difference between these and other model numbers, it's just another production run (batch), and the batteries are actually the same.

[Q] Japanese version anyone?

Hi,
I'm in NZ, and I cant find any websites in NZ that sell the LG Optimus G yet.
However I found this website - http://www.kyoex.com/docomo-lg-l-01e-optimus-g-high-spec-quadcore-s4-phone/
This has the japanese version that aparently has a removable battery and a memory card slot.
Does anyone have one of these? Advice on this model please? I would LOVE to get this phone.
Thanks!

Spare battery can be purchased on japanese websites like rakuten. Is there any International shipping agency covering Japan in HK?? I used those services in Korea to buy LGL21 and spare batteries. Spare battery costed me 2400JPY per EA.
I had that version for a couple of days and couldnt love it, felt really cheap in my hands.

About to buy. Exynos?

Hi
I am about to pull the trigger on a UK preorder for a Note7. Are all of the Note7s in the UK exynos? And is that the type I want if battery life is a priority for me?
Thanks.
